This property is starting to go up now for the past few months, management is realyy fighting against crime and the propert6y is now being supervised by undercover police officers. You can be sure that this property will be totallly remodeled in and out.

We have lived in Oaks of Ashford Point II for nearly 16 years. It has been a good place to live most of that time. However, the community went downhill when many Katrina refugees moved in. Most Katrina refugees were and are good people. But a few were bad apples. And these bad apples had a disastrous effect on the community. The property has now been taken over by Greystone management. The property manager, Peggy, and her office/maintenance team are making improvements on a continuous basis. Greystone invested in a $30,000 hot water boiler recently. We were glad to see it put in. Peggy & her staff deal with maintenance issues promptly. The sidewalks need repair and this will be taken care of. We are glad to see the new management make the investments in money and time to make this the wonderful community it once was. Also, on a positive note, there is a lot of residential construction going on in the Westpark / Synnot neighborhood. We have just renewed our lease.

As like the other review. The property is very dangerous. There are gunshots fired in the middle of the night. There was a car that was shot 10 times! It's not suitable for a family. You have to be constantly worrying whether your apartment might me accidentaly fired. No police ever come around. Next to the mail box, I guess there would be drug dealings taking place because a lot of people would gather around at night. The apartment managers tried to light up the parking lot by replacing the broken lights but someone would break them again, I guess to do their business. On top of all this, the property and apartments are very dirty. The maintenance is no good..there are a lot of roaches, rats, mold, and old pipes. Not good if you have an infant. The roaches never end. I bought poison and tried to gas them out, but it is no use. This is the worst place ever, the property maintenance and managers do not care about the well being, sanitary conditions, and security for their residents.

THIS PLACE IS ONE OF THE WORST THAT I HAVE STAYED IN. A DEALER MOVED UNDERNEATH ME AND THATS WHEN I STARTED TO HEAR GUN SHOTS AT NIGHT,TRAFFIC ALL TIMES OF NIGHT, CURSING OF GROWN MEN, AND EVEN SAW A MAN PULL A GUN ON ANOTHER MAN IN FRONT OF HIS APARTMENT. THE RENT IS CHEAP BUT NOT WORTH THE POTENTIAL HARM THAT YOU MAY ENCOUNTER. MY NEIGHBOR DOOR WAS KICKED IN, THE HAVE PEOPLE BREAK IN CARS, AND WHEN THE DRUG DEALERS CAME, THEN CAME THE ROACHES AND A BUNCH OF THEM. I HAD TO GET MY APT EXTERMINATED TWICE OR THREE TIMES A MONTH. THE GIRLS IN THE LEASING OFFICE ARE YOUNG, BLACK AND UNEXPERIENCED. OH AND THE FOUNDATION IS TERRIBLE. MY DOOR JAMS CONSTINTLY, AND CRACKS IN MY WALL. ALSO THE OLD MANAGER WAS STEALING THE DEPOSITS. BUT ANYONE CAN GET APPROVES. ANYONE. CHILDREN CURSING AND KEYED MY CAR. JUST HELL.
