I have lived in sunswept apartments for a year and a half and from day one its been nothing but problems. When I first moved in we could not take a bath cause this was pealing paint so badly that I was scared for my kids to go in the bathroom cause of the lead paint. Everything is broken starting with the front door. Someone has been trying to brake in they won't fix the door, the patio blinds are all gone they will not replace, no heat in the back bed rooms, mold in kitchen on the ceiling, water leaks from every where water can leak from, never any parking, tub is not sealed to the floor, toilet backs up all the time, windows off the tracks, walk ways are never clean, leasing offices are hardy ever open, the office staff are liars and every rude. If you moving in to sunswept it will be the worst time of your life. Laundry rooms have sewage backed up in to them, there is mold in most builds. They where all over the news for the problems they HAVE. It was more then a nightmare living here. The people downstairs from me moved out cause my toilet water leaks into there living room. Well I think you have the picture.

Im dishing the dirt. I have lived in this complex for 3 yr and I will be happy as a clam when my lease is up in a few months. Some background on me..I am a single female with 3 kids. I work FULL TIME and I go to school FULL TIME.When I moved here, I didnt hold my expectations too high because of the area of town. The rent is very reasonable ($750) for a 2/2 TH with a loft that is large enuff to convert to a 3rd room. There was and is no pest control issues (cant stand roaches ugggh) and there was on site security. The past yr has seen sooo many ppl move out because they have opend the flood gates of open approval and we all know what kind of ppl that brings. The complex when from about 10% vacancy to nearly 50%.On my row alone there are only 3 in the 6 units rented out. UNITs were getting broken into, ppl hung out all outside ALL DAY! GET a JOB BASTARDS! It is soo bad that one woman had her home broken into, in broad daylight, while she was giving birth to new baby! What kind of trifling A-Hole would do that. I Feel so unsafe that I have to leave my radio on during the day so they cant tell if Im home or not...SHM! The worse thing is that the poor lady in the office (MS VICKY) wont notify the complex of all of the criminal activity going on around us and when I voiced my concerns, she suggested that I have an alarm system installed....I have considered writing upper management, but y waste my time...Im just going to take my money and my family somewhere else...If you do decided to move in, dont move in the back of the complex unless you like dodging bullets and fighting teenagers....I pray i get out safely.

I have lived here going on 2yrs, and I'm glad my lease is up in Feb 2011. I recently discovered mice and 1 big blk rat in my unit. I bought some glue traps and only a baby mouse was caught. I was so freaked I had my son come stay with me a couple of days wanted to see if maybe he could catch them. Also my water heater pipe bust and water leaked thru and dwn my bathroom ceiling and onto the carpet leading into my bedroom.(now I have have funky smelling carpet when a maintance came by i was at work they told my son they had to wait until the carpet was dry) wth... I informed the office and only thing happened they put a clamp on the pipe to stop the leak. and sat out mouse traps. I wanted them to find out where the heck they were coming in from . I had already put down glue traps myself.(that's not helping solve the problem) I have taken it as a sign to move. And boy I cant wait!!!!

Sunswept townhomes are not great I can say that but they are not bad as people might say. If you stay to yourself and out of everybody personal life than the things that happen will not happen to you. I will say that we have has break in stolen cars but since I lived here it only happen one time. I do not know all what happen behind the story but where ever you live things will happen. Sunswept are nice apartments the maintance guys do there job and do a great job. The staff is very nice and check your safty. Cattils is right next door and whatever happen over there is over there because things have happen, But this is not about cattils. IF you really want to know about sunswept don't always believe what many people say. Try it for yourself and know what you getting into and the neighborhood. I love where I stay and in my eyes its safe to me. I do not hang out late at night I am in my house so its really how you live.

I haven't even been in these townhomes for 6 months and already I have spoke with alot of people thats had their car stolen, one young woman was robbed at gun point, and her friend car was broke into not even a week later. It took managment 2 weeks to put out a notice about the young lady having her car stole at gun point, not to mention the manager didn't even give to video to police, it was up to the young lady to make sure the police got her copy. There is security but people have still had their apartments broke into, cars stole, car batteries stole, and robbed at gun point. Before you move anywhere you should contact the police dept. to find out what their crime rate is. The Cattails Townhomes are right next door and they don't have half of the crime. I know that no where you move is safe however for the amount of rent we're paying you would think that we could be a little more safer.

The security is very horrible. They have about 3- 4 guys as security and they are constantly picking on the teenagers. Especially the females, they get very mad when they do not want to talk to them but picks at them. They write complaints and the people never recieve them. So if you have any young females stay away!!!! Seriously it can get very bad. When went to complain to leasing office they took up for security so they are no good also. Very bad business and very unprofessional. DO NOT RECOMMEND to females- Watch out!!!
