I moved into Creekstone last summer hopeful that I had found a place I could call home for 3-4 years. Unfortunately, I now know that won't be possible. When I opened the door on my assigned move-in day, I was shocked at the state. There was a woman in there trying to clean with her small child sitting in the corner of the unit. She was vacuuming the carpets, which had not been professionally cleaned. She rushed out and my unit was left dirty by the previous occupant. The shower would not turn on. The floors were old and crumbling. There were missing light fixtures. The mirror was cracked. The water fixtures were peeling. The tiles were stained and cracked. I documented these things with pictures and it took about a month to get the apartment in a basic move-in-ready condition. Multiple times, painters or maintenance people tried to come into my unit without knocking. As I settled in, more and more red flags popped up. The amenities we pay an extra fee for are hardly maintained. The pool is rarely open at 10 a.m. (The pool gates have padlocks on them). The water is currently murky and gross. The gym is missing weights and has had a broken bike and treadmill that have remained broken all year. The premises is constantly littered with trash that becomes part of the landscaping. The gates will be left/stuck open for weeks at a time. We constantly get notices about stolen tires and broken car windows. There is standing water that turns putrid in multiple parking spaces/near the dumpsters. The weeds and plants growing out of the sand volleyball court, rocks, and sparse sand makes the sand courts unusable. The office communications are often difficult to read and understand because of errors. If Creekstone is your only option, insist on seeing your actual unit before signing anything. There are also about $50-80 of extra fees each month on top of rent and pet rent. Be prepared for separate drainage, sewage, trash, water, amenities, pest control, and service fees. I reached out to the Price Realty Regional Supervisor (------ ------) and the Director of Operations (------- -----) 13 business days ago, iterating the same concerns and requesting the owner’s contact information and have not heard back.

Apartment complex is in a beautiful woodsy setting and they sure talk a good game about how they manage the complex, however they are very lax on enforcing rules. Its a rare occasion when you don't find late night parties after hours at the pool with numerous beer bottles and loud music. The folks with dogs don't seem to curb their pets and in fact let them defecate on the walkways. In walking thru the neighborhood, you see many expired vehicle tags while a trip to the trash dumpsters will bring numerous trash just thrown around the trash area as folks are to lazy to place it in the dumpsters. The complex allows local towing companies to show up late evenings/early mornings and browse the neighborhood for non-decal (apt complex) vehicles which they can then tow away in order to make money. This is a true deceptive practice they engage in. They don't tow expired tags or inspections but prey on those that didnt correctly park and mobile register in a so-called visitors spot. In speaking with the site office, you always get a concerned ear, but that is as far as it goes. The response is always, "we are aware and working on it." Their night security is non-existent, and the complex seems to always keep the pool gates locked after opening hours as there is no one available to "do their job' and open up the amenities. Don't let the appearance fool you..........lots of really nice places in this area of town. Make sure to do your research.

If your'e thinking of moving here DON'T. I have had issues since day 1 and continue to have issues 2 months later. The gate that is supposed to assure security is NEVER closed anyone can come and go as they please. My apartment was NOT move-in ready and clearly no one cared to inspect the property prior to me moving in. When I moved in there was a whole in the screen door, broken blinds being held up with tape, the kitchen sink was leaking, the outlet above the desk had exposed wires with no plate, the plate underneath the desk, not screwed on and left open, The bedroom door would not close, Bedroom window would not close as well as Dirt literally piled up in the windows as well as dust, The Dishwasher rack missing wheels and other parts, and a piece of the rack was broken and contained rust (which took nearly 2 months to fix). The carpet had a strong odor which I was told they were aware of prior to me moving in but did nothing until a complaint was made, The hardwood floor is covered in paint which was left up to me to clean. It took me a week to scrub paint off of the bath room sink and bath tub. Some parts of the bathroom cabinets need paint. The filter in the dryer was broken and dryer barely works it takes multiple cycles to dry 1 small load. The LARGE light fixture in the kitchen came unhinged and was hanging in the middle of the kitchen (when I called them they told me its not emergent) I was told my windows cant be fixed - during the ARTIC FREEZE IT WAS SO COLD unless i sat in my house with extra layers. Ive also had issues with the ceiling fan, bedroom is supposed to have two light bulbs I only had one, the light above the stove didn't work. The shower rod came loose and was separating from the wall. (Again keep in mind this is all in the span of just a few days shy of 2 months) I am having issues with the hot water and because the property manager stuck her hand under it for 5 seconds which is completely different from being naked in the shower - it's not seen as a big deal. and I have seen roaches. I might have missed a few things because it's just been all too much.

I am an apartment locators and have been working the Houston area since 1998. I absolutely love referring to this property. First, they always answer the phone when I call to check availablity and they are super friendly and knowledgeable. They offer great prices for their high quality apartments. I recently had a customer lease here last week. The application process was prompt and my customer has already moved in to her clean and beautiful apartment. She emailed me that she LOVES her apartment and LOVES the office staff. Congrats to this community for doing a professional and awesome job, not just this time, but every time. I will continue to refer my clients here knowing that they will be well take care of. BRAVO!

I had high hopes for this place when we moved in. However, we had problems with the apartment on DAY 1 of move in! Security is a joke. There is minimal lighting on the property...a lot of dark and unsafe areas. One night, 12 vehicles were broken into in because the managers never got the gates repaired so it remained open for weeks and several lights under the carports had burnt out long before. Maintenance takes FOREVER to do repairs when needed. Several times we had to call to ask the leasing office when maintenance would come to repair something that had been requested almost 2 weeks prior. We asked other tenants if they had the same maintenance complaints and they all agreed that maintenance is slow to get to things. Several stray animals all over the property...especially cats. Overcrowded parking lots. You'll never be guaranteed a spot close to your apartment and people double park. Save your money and look elsewhere to live! Otherwise, you'll be the next fool living there and regretting it.

Management has changed and things have gone downhill. The place went from clean, safe, working, and responsive to dirty with animal poop everywhere, cars getting broken into, and the front office staff being incompetent and mean. Laurie and Vikki, the management right now in this carousel of rotating incompetent property managers, are rude, lie about the status of work orders, call you out your name, and slam doors in your face. This happens when asking questions like “what are the charges for?” and “when can we expect a response to this work order we submitted 3 months ago?” I wouldn’t recommend anyone live here. We pay our rent on time and in full every month, no exception ever. The rent has gone up, unknown fees appear on your rent bill, and service and the quality and cleanliness of the units have gone down. When the winter freeze happened, the power and water went out and they didn’t update us on anything. It wasn’t until DAYS after the power returned they updated us that we were able to return. Previous management was communicative and helpful during Harvey. This place was a hidden gem a few years ago, and now it it’s a cesspool of incompetence, stress, and dog crap, specifically exacerbated by Laurie and Vikki.

Pool broken since February, package lockers unavailable. Car wash station doesn’t have hose. Not fixing, only excuses. Must have $$ problems. Renting to undesirables. Wouldn’t move here until all issues resolved otherwise paying for services not available

I lived there for a few years and moved in early 2021. There was a sale by the owner of the apartment complex and the quality dropped dramatically. It is horrible, bad maintenance. The gym is no longer 24 hs, the pool has been abandoned and closed for months, they don't wash the stairs that give access to the apts, there is no water in the volleyball court shower, they took the hose to wash the cars, the garden in general is bad care, in short, there is rubbish. There is always an excuse that equipment was stolen and that the owner does not want to spend money. We paid the expensive rent and took everything that was good. I do not advise anyone to rent apt here.

When I first moved here I really liked this place. Great reviews and close to where I needed to be. However I found out that new management had just taken over and things have started to change and not for the good. Parking is incredibly poor. They don't tow anyone that doesn't belong, but are happy to tow their own tenants (see other reviews). I had no parking spot available at all and I'm a tenant here. I parked where I thought I could for at least the night, only to have my car towed. They refused payment! Service requests are a joke. They don't give you notice they are coming in advance and at times they don't want to do anything, they just mark the request complete! I needed a new lock due to a security issue and never heard from them. I checked to find they closed it out. I have an issue with mold coming out of the duct (and onto the wall) and the guy told me to just wash it. Management can't fill these new spots and it's easy to see why. If you're trying to decide between another place and this one, I'd chose the other.

I love living at Creekstone. The community is quiet and well kept, the floor plans are spacious, the location is prime for a foodie, and the team is full of the friendliest and most helpful people I can imagine. Most importantly, I feel safe. I am about to move into a larger floor plan, but I thoroughly have enjoyed my one bedroom and walk-through kitchen. Visitors are always impressed with how nice the place is, and there are plenty of parking options. Oh, and the emergency maintenance, parcel lockers and pool are a big plus! The community is nestled into the edge of Terry Hershey park, so you get some nice evening ambiance from trees rustling and cicadas. I look forward to continuing living here. Thank you, Michael, Jayne, David and Elaine, for making my time at Creekstone so enjoyable!
