I would say this place was the worst apartment in my whole life so far. Apartment is so old so everything is not working properly. Apartment smells like old rotten woods, and even sewer sometime. First day after I moved in, kitchen was flooded with water from dish washer. You will meet 5-6 cockroaches EVERYDAY and your pantry will be raided by mice at night. Reported water leaks by windows and doors when it rains but office said "Yeah... that is pretty common and there is nothing we can do about it." Water ended up flooded all around the floor. Dark rubber type dirt comes out with hot water every time you turn water on and they never fixed it even with several request. Ventilating covers never cleaned up so 1-2 inch thick dust was stick to the cover so we had to clean up by ourselves. Apartment office never answer your call/email back and it so hard to get hold of them for assistant. Every time, all conversation with the property manager was very unpleasant. Very rude. Nothing will be documented for the records but just verbal promises that never kept. They are buying good reviews from tenants with raffle prize! So please do not trust any good reviews at the Internet. (I see below comment, one of the same corporate colleagues in Price Brothers Management recommended Deerfield. Looks like they are giving each other good reviews as well! I would recommend you to check all negative reviews on this place because those are so true.) When I moved out, they deducted $100 off of my deposit money for thermo fog treatment, for as property maintenance service, which was caused by apartment's rotten wood & sewer odor and charged me for it! (Never had any pets. vacuumed apartment 2-3 times a week, rinsed the carpets with carpet cleaner sometime when we lived there. Spent 2-3 hours for cleaning up the apartment prior to move out even. This is how they do. They always take your money out of your pocket, without notice.) It's too much stress for me dealing with apartment office. Maintenance guy works so hard but seemed to cannot keep up with all those work orders because they're too many for one man. This place is the one where corporate company never spend their money into for improvement or maintenance because it's too old already and not worth to invest. DO. NOT. MOVE. HERE.

The back parking lot especially building 13 features a honky tonk atmosphere. They play music from their vehicles 24 hours a day. Public Intoxication and sex in the cars against the back fence is ongoing nightly. Gunshot alley I call it. There is no security he probably took a bullet several years ago. I think management won't even go back their. Whoever gave this thing a two must have been smoking some hippy lettuce. The Slumlord who owns this thing probably don't even know it still exist. He simply gets his Rent Receipts at his River Oak Mansion. Warning you and your family avoid this Gun Drug and Sex Musuem at all cost. Live under a bridge if you have to. You would be much better off.

Why is it when I first moved to Houston the management try to rent me an apartment with buckshot holes in the doors and electric wires hanging out of the lamps and electric units from the walls ? Taking advantage of new people from out of town thinking they have no where else to live and desperate ? Yeah that'll keep client's coming ....

Average place to live with really large fireplaces, but the place is a little warm for my taste.
