“The building itself is nice as far as decorating, however Lakeview Associates (management) is an absolute terror to deal with. My apartment was extremely dirty when I moved in and the paint was ripped off the wall from the previous tenant. The previous tenant also re-routed the wiring. AND there was a strange smell coming from our heater, and it turned out to be a dead animal in the pipes! ! To top it all off, we had a break in and some woman from Lakeview told us there would be a fee of $75 for a lock-out fee. Hello! We didn't get locked out! Someone busted our luck. DO NOT LIVE HERE!”

One day, the owner came into my apartment without my permission to "inspect." I happened to be home sick that day, and he opened the door even though I didn't answer when he knocked. Since no one had called ahead to tell me he was coming, I thought he was someone selling something. People were brought through later on without my permission, which is the policy of Lakeview Associates, and property was damaged in my apartment. Management reimbursed me, but it was irritating and creepy. My bike was stolen out of the bike room while I lived there too.”
