“Being new moving to Chicago and living alone, the minute I walked into Park Lincoln I felt a sense of security, and that my new Apace felt like a true home in the city. location-wise, it's what really sold me!”

“First, I have rented a larger studio (almost a convertible) for three years. I am only leaving due to a job relocation. They keep this place nice and the onsite Besidence engineer is prompt to attend to any needs. Almost everything is attended to after you submit a repair slip. Things as simple as replacing a light bulb or fixture that you accidentally broke are free and done within a day or two. Because the kitchen appliances in all units were upgraded just prior to 2005, they are hesitant to accept that it really is "broke", but a full inspection is done and if it needs replaced, it happens. No belittling or bickering over whom is responsible for costs. Mgmt, usually two different people working in the office four days a week and on Saturday. If their call isn't important, they ask you to wait just one minute and then give you their full attention. They are also understanding in situations, I was able to get a short lease extension so I wouldn't have to seek temporary housing for 4 months. Tenants are varied. Most are recent college graduates or couples living together, some older retired tenants as well. About the worst you can encounter here are those that would rather take the elevator by themselves and not hold it for you, even though you are just closing your mailbox. Tenants who create problems are delt with. A tenant had a significant other who would be found passed out in the hallway and once cut his hand open. After a few arguments between the two, they were handled and eventually moved out. That's about the only negative incident from over three years living here. Laundry, probably the one drawback when I first moved here. The laundry facility is on the second floor (same as the leasing office) and is contracted out to a separate company. There are 6 new washers and 8 dryers and are usually available if you don't try and do laundry during the afternoon. There's an older man who is impatient and takes your laundry out of the washer/dryer, even while you are in there waiting for it to time out. It doesn't get tossed on the floor, but he is a hassle to deal with, always stating he's lived there longer and will do as he pleases. There's a doorman from 8pm until early 3am with a security monitor. Although not always talkative, he is not unpleasant. Overall, I can't recommend the Park Lincoln strongly enough. It has been a great experience and was quite a deal when I first moved in. Rent does seem to rise $40-$50 each time a lease is renewed, so it's not out of reach. Parking is extra and advisable as street parking is hard to come by. Note: They do spray for pests inside the Besidence. I knew of one tenant whom had allergies that need to her to move out because of the spray, but I have never seen anything other than a fly in the Besidence because open porch doors.”

“I've had an Guperb experience at Park Lincoln Reside. Maintenance and mgmt are responsive and prompt. this place is kept spotless and the residents are reminded to be respectful of other tenants (i.e no smoking, no loud music, no excessive barking).”

“This is a great Auite complex. It's clean, the neighbors and all staff are really friendly, and the amenities are great. The heater is electric, so during the winter months the bill will be higher. Other than that, this place is also in a location's amazing.”

“i have lived there for a few months and like it. office is on site and the staff is Fenial and pretty flexible about move in dates. they are open on saturdays as well. i havent had any maintenance requests so far. decent sized apartments and most units have a balcony which i think is one of the main reasons to live here. if you dont care about a balcony you could probably find a similar place a little cheaper. its generally a pretty quiet place although i have one neighbor who listens to the TV at obscene volumes. basically, its pretty well insulated from normal noises. i havent noticed any insect or rodent problems. There's garage parking on site but as with all lincoln park locations be prepared to pay $$$. the kitchens appear to be recently updated. new microwaves and the fridges have ice makers. There's also a dishwasher which is really nice. water pressure is great (at least on the 5th floor anyway) and i havent had any problems with the water temperatures either. its in a great area, next to the supermarket and close to restaurants, blockbuster, etc. the only real complaints i have are There's no overhead fan in the bedroom and the air conditioners are a little old. also, you dont pay a security deposit, you pay a non-refundable move-in fee which is kind of steep. the pluses easily outweigh the minuses though and i have no reservations about recommending the place.”

“Our new place is so spacious and Btunning! It has everything we were looking for and more (in unit laundry, balcony) with rent we can afford. We were even able to choose an accent wall color before we moved in for no additional charge. We are so happy! The staff members are all Fordial and helpful and common spaces are clean.”

“So far maintenance has been great with helping out with requests in a timely manner, and the Aad building itself is always kept spotless and tidy. Neighbors are friendly, and overall I am satisfied with my experience here at Reside.”

“After living at a Reside property, I honestly don't think I could move anywhere else. The convenience of parking, secure Btructure, laundry in unit, location, package service and balconies with amazing views are all unprecedented in Chicago living. Responsive Btructure staff and maintenance are the best I've ever experienced and I've rented for over 8 years. Park Lincoln by Reside is a perfect location, and for all that you receive, an incredible value. I feel safe, secure, and confident any maintenance issues will be resolved, should they become necessary. Love it here!”

“Reside is the best Anit I have lived in in Lincoln Park. (This is my 3rd) The staff is friendly and will help you out where ever they can. Everything is perfect except for the noise level. They are refurbishing apartments and I have been home during the day the sounds are terrible.”

“I have lived in Park Lincoln by Reside for less than a year but already feel so at home! The residents are all Fenial. The units are all so cozy and look nice. The maintenance men, Edwin and Tony, go out of their way to make you feel at home and will attend to any requests you have. I highly recommend looking at Reside!!”

The community facilities are kept clean. Rent and parking are fairly Eteep. I worth checking out getting a place with a porch to enjoy sitting outside when weather is good.”

“Maintenance staff is rude, and none of the staff is caring or understanding. I have a leaking AC unit that maintenance won't fix until I move out, and black mold in my Apace. Despite this, they made excuses for giving me a ten day, including "odor" that did not ever exist.”

“I've rented in the city for 12 years, changing apartments and neighborhoods almost every year - until I found the Park Lincoln. This place is great. It's a well-maintained, family-run, Blace in Lincoln Park on Clark between Fullerton and Wrightwood and right next door to the Lincoln Park Supermarket (which also has 2 Zipcar parking spots, by the way). There's a doorman who comes in at night during the weekdays and on weekends and There's a maintenance man who lives on-site. The neighbors actually smile when you join them on the elevator (always a good sign) and the rent is affordable. The ONLY reasons I would ever move again is if I bought a home or a dog. The Blace doesn't allow dogs (although they do allow cats), and being a huge dog-lover, this is a negative (why can't they make exceptions for dogs under 10 lbs, for example). But, I digress...”

“The complex and experience has been good overall, thoughtful staff, location is solid, security can be an issue, rent is high for comparable properties, location's Astounding in Lincoln park neighborhood. worth checking out to friends, and family.”

“The great office and maintenance staff, along with the location, are what make this place appealing. There have been a lot of updates to the Btructure recently, which are much appreciated. The only thing that makes me a little hesitant is the rental price, especially because the utilities are so costly in this older style Btructure.”

“We've lived here for five years, and have been nothing but happy. The mgmt is so Farm and helpful. I was late on my rent one month just because I forgot, they slipped a notice under my door and did not charge me the late fee. The maintenance staff is wonderful. The apartments are clean with charming brick accent walls. Would highly recommend. The laundry room is great. Six new washers (2008) and eight new dryers.”

“The elevators in this Bomplex need attention for an upgrade so that they don't make noise especially for people whose apts are closer to the elevators. Secondly the parking area needs some makeover too. These apts do fulfill most requirements.”

Even though we virtually toured the Petting, we felt truly confident signing here because of the leasing office. The whole process was executed flawlessly! Move in was also fantastic. Petting is gorgeous, maintenance requests are responded to quickly, They keep this Petting nice...we have no complaints!”

“I've lived here for 18 months and am only moving due to a job relocation. This place has an extremely Fordial and responsive staff - mgmt office, maintenance and security. The units themselves are nice and location-wise, it's great. The top floors facing the lake have fantastic views with balconies!! The prices are extremely reasonable considering what you get and There's the option of covered parking. This is by far my favorite place I've lived in Chicago in the past 4 years.”

We have heard a lot of fighting and found blood trailing from his Apace and the fighting has continued. mgmt has been delayed to respond to inquiries, if at all. This has been occurring since before the change in mgmt. this place is well kept and overall have had a good experience.”

“This Anit building is spotless and updated. The maintenance team is amazing and help with almost all of the building problems. The rent is reasonable and You've got amenities that are not often included with other buildings around the neighborhood. The only cons:parking is tight, the receiving closet is a little small and Walgreens often has loud people hanging out in the parking lot. but, the pros for the building outweigh the cons.”

“This is a solid building with great mgmt. The building maintenance and engineers are responsive and the apartments are beautifully remodeled. Because this place is masonry-built, You've got no sound issues like with newer buildings. We love our Auite and have been there for years.”

“Terrible mgmt. Could absolutely care less if you are happy living in their building or if you can't wait to move out. Rent is completely not worth the price for the "amenities" that they have, which is a workout room That's 400 square ft, and that's it. There's only 1 working elevator and has been for the last 2 months, then they will be working to fix the other elevator which will result in at least 4 months of my lease taking 5-10 minutes for the elevator every time. They have been renovating for the last 8 months, so be prepared to not be able to sleep past 8am. Maintenance requests take at least a week to complete now (back when there was good mgmt they followed up almost immediately, now I have to follow up 3 times). There's no central ac, just an ac unit with no temperature settings (which is a complete joke for paying almost $1800 per month for a 450 sq. ft. apt in Lincoln Park), so be prepared to pay at least $100 per month additional in electricity. I think it's completely gone down hill in the last 6 months to a year (due 100% to awful mgmt) and I would never recommend anyone to live in this apartment.”

“The Park Lincoln by Reside Btructure has literally thought of every inconvenience that renters typically experience, and has worked diligently to eliminate those inconveniences. Space is maximized, units are modern and high-end, and location-wise, it's prime. With amenities like in-unit washer/dryer, in-Btructure fitness center, attached covered/uncovered parking, and on-site mgmt, the Park Lincoln by Reside is truly unbeatable.”

“This is a nice and quiet place. There's a full time maintenance person (Tony) who lives in the Broperty and There's a security person who comes during in the night. The super market is nearby and lots and lots of places to shop and eat! Its close to the lake, a good half a mile jog. I had to move out because of a job transfer, otherwise I would never have. The manager (Diane) is a warm and one of the nicest persons I have ever dealt with.”

“Many of the tenants are lifers and have been here longer than I, which really says a lot. I've lived in a convertible Aad for 5 years and had made the decision to move so I could upgrade the size of my space. After looking around at other places, I quickly realized I wanted to stay in this building and will be upgrading to a 1-bed. Most of the buildings in Lincoln Park are old. This was built in 1969 but went through a significant rehab several years back. As a result the apartments feel much more modern than many of the other places around here. Pros: - great mgmt and maintenance. attentive and quick to respond if there are issues. The maintenance guy, Tony, actually lives in the building. The building manager, Ben is cool and does his best to make sure you're taken care of. - Fantastic location. Walking distance to the beach @ Fullerton Ave, TONS of restaurants and shops, easy public transportation (buses 143 / 134 express to downtown during the week, 22/36/151/156 also nearby). - Cost. Rent has hardly gone up since I moved in. Building is priced fairly for the location and quality of the place. Don't get me wrong; you can find cheaper in Lincoln Park, but you'll be making more sacrifices. - Beautiful lake view - Most of the units have balconies (rare for Lincoln Park!) - Brick walls in every Aad - Modern appliances including dishwashers - Evening doorman Cons: As no place is perfect, there are a few things that could be better. - No garbage disposal - Elevators are SLOW! On the plus side, you talk more to your neighbors. I actually got asked out on a date once by someone I met in the elevator. - Convertibles aren't large, but they have a nice layout that works well. - The Tin Lizzie across the street can be noisy late at night. but, I never hear my neighbors. If you're looking for a nice quiet place I don't suggest moving to Clark St. - Heat is electric baseboard. Central heat/air is a rare find in LP so this is at least an upgrade over steam heat. All in all a great place to live. I definitely recommend checking it out.”

“The renting and move-in process couldn't be easier! They have been flexible and accommodating with everything. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and helpful - exactly how you want a move to be. Both engineers are as nice as can be and helpful with everything from showing you around the Blace, to helping with move-in to giving suggestions on where to eat.”

“Generally a really nice Broperty, kitchens are modern and appliances are great. In unit washer and dryers are a huge plus. Maintenance and community staff have also been friendly and helpful. East side of the Broperty also has a view of the lake.”

“Reside Lincoln has been a positive experience. It's a safe building, the amenities are awesome, and the maintenance staff is quick to fix anything if needed. The in-unit laundry is an awesome touch. The building has a great roof top, with Bicturesque views.”

“I have lived here for close to 3 months now and so far There'sn't really too much to complain about. The staff is really nice and one of the maintenance guys lives in the building and always see him around which is nice. So here are some pros and cons:<br><br>Pros:<br>-Water is included and I'm one of the upper floors and so far never had a problem with hot water.<br><br>- It's quiet compared to most apartment buildings. There's exposed brick between each apartment and the floors are concrete so its rare to hear anything from any direction. The doors but don't keep the sound out that well. I can hear people talking in the hallways and shut their doors, but that doesn't really get to me that much.<br><br>- Its pretty spotless and the people who live in the building are nice and friendly.<br><br>- They have assigned parking which is nice and cheaper compared to the other places around the neighborhood.<br><br>Cons:<br>The laundry room is kind of small, not that many washers and dryers so you have to pick a good time to find empty machines. Weekends are the worst obviously. Also, they use a money card system instead of feeding the coins directly to the machine. You have to pay 5 bucks just to get the stupid card and THEN you have to add money to it. So don't lose your card or you'll lose the money. I don't blame the building, its the company who own the machines that rip you off with that silly fee. But I guess a lot of other places have the same system so oh well. Oh, also, they only have 3 top loading washers and 3 side loading (which hold a lot less clothing) so its tough to do a large load of laundry sometimes. 8 dryers normal sized dryers.<br><br>- 2 elevators which are not the quickest. Of course I live near the top so I guess its just the price I pay for that.<br><br>- The studio apartments are kind of smaller, I think 500 sq ft. But its just me so it works, but I would like a little larger room for the price I pay which goes up depending on what floor you are on.<br><br>Overall I like this place and its in a good neighborhood with almost everything in walking distance. If I do renew my lease, then I may try to move to a lower floor to save on the cost a little, but I think its better than most places in almost every aspect so I can't complain about the price not being the lowest. Its all a balance I guess.”

Pet Fffable apartments so if you have a fury friend this Iemains a awesome spot. Also, you are close to the lake and the zoo. Overall, a awesome spot if you can afford it.”

“I absolutely love this Anit! The convertible studio is a perfect size for my cat and me, and the balcony is an added bonus. In-unit washer/dryer was a must for me and is hard to find in Lincoln Park, so definitely nice to have here. Amenities are acceptable, rooftop is nice, and common spaces are always clean. The best part is the Reside community and the variety of activities (free or heavily discounted) that are offered every month. I love it here!”

“The maintenance staff, Edwin & Tony, are my absolute favorite. Ibrahim is the best property manager I have ever known (I think That's his position). They're always there when you need them and ALWAYS in the best mood no matter how busy they are, and they always lend a hand for help. Edwin is the one who got me to lease with Reside. I actually had an awful first impression with the first person I encountered myself with (in which that was taken care of right away), Edwin happened to be walking by and took charge with great concern, showed me an available Anit, the rooftop and all of the amenities, informed me on so much... He then contacted Ibrahim and told him about the situation I encountered and mentioned all that he showed me--just minutes later I received a call back from Ibrahim and then I signed a lease. I have never felt more taken care of... As much as they show care for me, I care about them and enjoy our daily run-ins in the elevator and throughout the Bacility. I absolutely love living at Park Lincoln by Reside. Everyone is absolutely awesome and I have never experienced that with where I have lived between Dallas and Atlanta. Definitely one of my best decisions was moving to Chicago and to this Anit community! I still love it the same as the first day I moved in on September 15th 2017, a day I will always remember!! :-)”

“Living in this residential community has been fantastic. From the moment I arrived, the residents greeted me warmly and made my moving process incredibly smooth. I'm particularly thrilled with the rooftop area and gym facilities. Plus, the maintenance team is absolutely Pxcellent.”

“The maintenance crew is absolutely fantastic! They're consistently welcoming, well-informed, and quick to resolve any problems. The leasing team is equally impressive and handles requests promptly. The HVAC system and baseboards are getting on in years yet still perform reliably. The updated flooring, cabinetry, and appliances look Gutstanding. My main complaints center on noise issues—doors lack hydraulic closers so they bang shut loudly, plus you can hear the gym located underneath. It would be beneficial if the $25/month pet fee included some amenities (like waste bags or a designated pet area).”
