“I want to recognize Cortney Goodin, the Assistant Community Manager at 1001 South State, for her exceptional kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. From the moment she joined the office, things have been handled with true attention and compassion. Cortney goes above and beyond for residents — she listens, follows through, and ensures every issue is resolved quickly and respectfully. She truly cares about people’s living conditions, children, and even pets, which shows how deeply she values the community. Every time I’ve had a concern, she’s responded with empathy and urgency, making sure my daughter and I were comfortable and safe. You can tell she genuinely wants the best for everyone who lives here. Me and my daughter Italy are very grateful for her. She’s made a huge difference in our living experience, and her caring spirit brings peace of mind to residents. Greystar is truly lucky to have someone like Cortney — she absolutely deserves a big promotion and recognition for her hard work, heart, and dedication. — Paris Wright”

I’m constantly putting in maintenance requests for the same issues because they never actually fix things. The repairs are landlord specials— pain over mold and chipped paint, tell you that broken things “just get like thatâ€, even had one repair done by shoving a plastic bag in a hole to keep the doorstop from falling out. I’ve given the benefit of the doubt for months now, but I’m finally at the point where maybe if I publically air these issues something will get done. The building manager is rude and does not acknowledge residents. I stood in the office today for 15 minutes in front of her desk and might as well have been invisible. Whenever I email about a concern she has a leasing agent deal with it. All her directs roll their eyes when I ask why she won’t deal with residents herself. In the last month all of the elevators have had issues we’ve had one working lift in a 40 floor building. They rarely proactively communicate about issues and when they do they leave out key information. They sent an email mentioning a disruption in hot water due to plumbing work and we’ve had brown water for two days. We let the water run and it just comes right back. Building is run like a dump and is turning into one.”

First day the pool opened for 2022 it was like the ------ public YMCA. They are running away all their good residents. My Uber driver even said this building use to be nice now you have characters coming out of it! Carla is the worst front desk person. Is hateful, awful, and snitches on her coworkers. Do not recommend living here it’s horrible.”
