“Management left the building December 3,2024 and haven’t been back. She’s been cooking the books. And the garbage man is a liar and creep. The building is full of disrespectful tenants. Young and old fools. People that don’t care much about their own lives. They smoke cigarettes and marijuana inside their units and hallways. It’s a non-smoking building., but they don’t seem to follow any rules. And management allows this ungodly behavior.. so it’s a complete mess., The neighbors thought The Carling, was a rehab facility. I wish it were true. Perhaps, the tenants behavior would make more sense.”

“The Carling Hotel isn't the greatest place to stay in Chicago, but it's tolerable for a short-term stay, at least for some. Biggest issue to date that I'm aware of is some of the tenants who stay there, most of whom are obviously low-income. But they try to be careful about keeping problematic types out of there.”
