“7500 is a Heroin house. Gang activity. Someone was shot in the elevator over a drug deal a couple of weeks ago. The worst property mgmt in the city of Chicago. I had to call the Dept. of Buildings. WPD refuses to properly maintain 7500 S. Shore Dr. Failure to maintain security. Elevators keep breaking down. Refusal to maintain cleanliness of 7500 from feces and urine from elevators stairwells and hallways. During the Copic19 pandemic. Let alone failure to shovel snow so that the disabled and people with disabilities have difficulty leaving and entering building. Because of the danger of slipping and falling. WPD has to appear before a judge for multiple building violations. The property manager could care less. She only come to the building to demand rent. WPD doesn't visit the 7500 building on a daily basis. WPD themselves are afraid to come to the their own property they manage. There's a post circulating the internet of an incident. When the elevators broke down. A disabled senior citizen tenant on the floor passing out not able to get to his meds. No response to his calls of desperation for help from WPD mgmt office. Or the property manager. WPD has accepted many people released from mental institutions. And early prison release programs. Many pace the hallways "wigged out" and are dangerous. Many fights have occurred. The police are called often. WPD does nothing. Putting people's lives in jeopardy. A lot of drug (Heroin)activity occurs. Gang activity and death threats and shootings over drug deals gone bad has occured. Prostitutes traveling from one Anit to another. WPD dis-honest response to this complaint saying that they are not aware of what goes on here. When they have a live in janitor and a property manager and cameras. Many repairs are unprofessionally done. The building has returned to a heroin house. With easy acess to the building. Many people walk in off the streets and into doors that WPD refuse to repair.”

Btructure Manager Robbie Jones neglects his responsibilities and fails to be responsive to tenant concerns. He ignores calls and avoids communication. Untrustworthy and dishonest! Makes false promises. Quick to contact you about late rent payments though. WPD is unreachable by phone and there's no direct line to contact them. Drug dealing happens regularly throughout the property. Prostitution activities are tolerated in the Btructure. Frequently you'll see people passed out in hallways in a state of intoxication. Security cameras exist on site but both the janitor and Btructure manager turn a blind eye to everything. The only way to get WPD to maintain basic cleanliness standards and ensure this place is properly secured and protected is by filing complaints with the Alderman's office and the Department of Buildings.”
