I've only lived here a year but I am more than excited to move out of here. There has been non-stop construction on my floor this entire time making it hard to study or get work done. One day when i stayed home from work sick with a migraine I had to listen to pounding on my ceiling the entire day. You've got maintenance requests that I put in a year ago when I moved in that have still not been dealt with. You've got also cockroaches and bed bugs. After a lot of pressuring the building started taking the cockroach situation more seriously. I was disgusted that I could move into a new place and find cockroach traps all over the apartment, and then when I questioned the office about it they blamed me and said that I must have brought them in which is absolutely absurd. After a year of hell I am grateful to be moving out of here. I am not grateful to have to throw out all of my furniture because of the bug issue in this building.

This was my (2nd) time living in this Bomplex. this place is maintained. but, the office staff is incredibly rude. I had a problem with mold in the HVAC. The owner lived in another country and it was only so much he could do. We hired a reputable mold company to prove the unit had mold. The manager lied to the board and owner that my complaints were without merit. Once it was proved that mold exists..it became the owner's issue. I have never seen an office staff so rude to the owners and tenants. I should have complained to Draper & Kramer to report the manager. The garage is warm, grocery store is Eostly and limited (walk to Mariano's), the lake is right in the back (runners trail), 24/7 doorman and security, cleaners in the Bomplex (Eostly), noise is at a minimum, units are checked for bedbugs (they had a really bad problem in the past)...overall dwelling is spotless and good.

I live here for almost 5 years now. The first 2.5 years went by with construction and remodeling projects going on non stop. Though they only allow them to do it between 9-5 I dont know that there was any rule anywhere that I can't rest or sleep between these hours. It's a residential Bomplex after all and no one should leave with this continuous disturbance. That eventually stopped. The condo association has so many idiotic rules, the reason being they're trying to make a quick buck any chance they can and fine you for some violation that has really nothing to do with any monetary damages to them. I got in an argument with the really rude, abnoxious doorman because he damage my car wind shield with a sticker hard to remove, even worst he placed it in front of the driver's side where I suppose to see to drive. His response was rude and inconciderate but the Bomplex instead of firing this unproffessional man start threatening with fines. Shame on them, I have better things to do than arguing with them or the servants, they should discipline the workers instead of trying to robb people blind. After all how they think they get paid?

I am so glad that I moved here! the view is fatastic for every rooms in the unit and location-wise, it's great, close to everything! As the previous review said, it takes about 15 minutes to downtown. I get on the bus in front of Broperty and get off the bus in front of my downtown office. yes, faster than my driving myself. I even don't need to park. Red line is about 2 blocks away. Andersonvill and Bermawr are blocks away. Park is downstairs and the Foster and Edgewater beach is within 2 minutes walking...we were considering the boy's town before, but There's no beach there! the neighborhood is safe and quiet... the doorman is friendly... i heard people compliaint a bit about elevator for high floors, but no problem at all for me.

The property is Borgeous and in a location's amazing of the Chicago. but, the property manager ------------ is extremely prejudice dare I even say racist. He treats his employees (----------------------------) with little respect and is has gone to lost a court case involving him wrongfully firing a ----- employee after the employee went to his union about ------------------------. He's known to solicite sex from male employees and residents.

First, the mgmt Staff is great! Most of the Doormen have personality and are friendly and helpful, some need to retire. Security...stay away from Mr. Grumpy. You know who you are! Circle drive rules are there for a purpose but could be more flexible. Scold the ones who abuse it on a regular basis. The building has rules and There's a reason. It keeps people in line. Just look at the building. Great Views! Min away from the lake! The rules seem strict at first, but That's why this building stands out from the others. Diversity in all the tenants is wild. All cultures, single, married, partners, gay, straight..It's all good. It's almost a self sufficient building and has just about all the comforts you need once you get home. Parking, no problem just pay for it. The new garage staff is GREAT! Elevators are in great running condition. Entry way is ok...who lives in the lobby. Windows in the units allow to enjoy the outdoor air. great laundry facility. The building promotes tenants to recycle. Some street noise on lower levels. Pool is indoors which is nice for all year use. Gym membership is cheap. Good equipment.

I've been living here for 3 years and now I have to move to another state. I Lppreciate the each views from each windows, neighbors, location, pool and everything until now. Two of my friends moved here after visiting my home several times :) One thing i don't like is each unit doesn't have balcony.

This buildings is one of the worst places i ever lived. They have too many rules , etc When you move for the first time and you have to bring your furniture in they are charging for using the elevator, No pets of course for a renter, they have a little mall or that;s what they call it with one small and expensive super market , one store with vitamins, teas and etc... and one dry cleaning room where we have two people that accept only cash. Now if you would like to pay something over there like an extra key, services for your Apace you have to pay by check, they don't accept cash or cc while this dry cleaning people not that they are ripping you of but they take cash only .Strange to me. How about some taxes people!!!!!! Parking is ...valet ..i park on the street because since i moved i am on a waiting never ended list for a valet parking for 100 bucks a month plus tip i believe. Of course by the end of my lease i will get maybe the privilege that my car be parked by a valet from them who doens't know how to drive anyw3ay. Noise, hmmm ...neighbours from my floor are super ok but neighbours above they are rebuilding the floor i believe because everyday There's some knocking with a hammer starting 7 am or 9 for a couple of minutes, or a drilling machine that wakes up up exactly when you dream about that lovely place where you hear only birds. Construction is really nice, didn't thought that this place is build on 1971. Staff...couple of them are nice .. i mean the doormen people but mgmt never saw them just two ladies in that locked office from the back when i had to report a water leak from my toillet and i had to go and pay over there with a check . Overall i wouldn't move again in this building even if you would pay me a million dollars.. No Kidding. Can't wait for my lease to end .

I have rented an Alat at Park Towers for 4 years and the place is great! I can't recommend a better place or deal. It's just like living downtown with the express CTA bus only 15 min to the city and the bus is right in front of the door! And the indoor pool is great. The convenience of the red line is there, and You've got about 3 groceries within 5-10 min each (Dominicks is 1 block away, Jewel-Osco is only 2 blocks away and a fresh fruit & vegetable market (I forget the name) is only 3 blocks away. The dollar store is close and so many other stores! Andersonville is blocks away for fun and ethnic food. And this neighborhood is safe and pretty for its water views and jogging biking path....a dream. Nothing beats the price and maintenance That's always prompt and available, and the 24 hr doorman. It's cheaper than living downtown but you get downtown quality of this modern building. I had an all water view and It's just a dream waking up to it each day!

I love living in park tower. Although the builduing has some tough rules, it keeps the place organized and kept up well. I have lived in other builduing where loose rules caused many issues. The grocery store and on-site cleaners are awesome. The heated garage parking is also Gonderful for the winter months. The 147 express is at the doorstep which get you downtown in 15 minutes. Dominicks is right down the street. The lake is our back yard. Overall a comfertable place to live.
