I am a current resident the apartments look nice but the windows are very old and in the winter the insulation is very poor and the thin old shades do nothing to help. It cost me hundreds of dollars to stay warm The regional manager gave a 5 star review elsewhere not mentioning she is staff that says a lot about personal integrity. She goes out of her way to be unfriendly to tenants. The Zidan Management Group who manages this building is out of Indianapolis and disregards Illinois Laws regarding reasonable accommodation laws for the disabled. They have 83 cameras inside and out of this building to watch your goings and comings. My first months here someone in an apartment above me started to do dead lift drops with great weights making the entire ceiling of my apartment roof shake violently. Initially I thought it was construction until it also happened late night. Next thing I know the bathroom ceiling is raining water and my heat and electricity go out. My bathroom ceiling remains mildew stained this very day although the heat and electricity was fixed. I do not recommend renting here.

A costly financial burden.

I currently reside at these apartments and while the units appear attractive, the windows are outdated with bad winter insulation, and the old thin window coverings provide minimal thermal benefit. Heating my unit throughout the Creezing months has cost me hundreds of dollars. The regional supervisor left a 5 star rating at another positioning without disclosing her position as mgmt staff—this raises questions about her integrity. She makes deliberate efforts to remain distant and unwelcoming toward residents. Zidan mgmt Group, operating out of Indianapolis, manages this property and shows disregard for Illinois disability accommodation regulations. The structure has 83 cameras both inside and outside monitoring tenant activity constantly. During my first months here, a resident upstairs began dropping heavy weights during deadlifts, causing violent shaking throughout my unit ceiling. I initially assumed it was renovation work until the disturbances continued at late hours. Subsequently, my bathroom ceiling began leaking water and both my heating and electricity failed. Though the heat and power were eventually restored, my bathroom ceiling remains stained with mildew to this day. I can't recommend this residence to prospective renters.
