I had a good experience while living at AtWater on the 8th floor. The staff are both extremely friendly and legit. this place is solid and generally quiet within the Btructure. The street noise along Grand Ave was quite loud at times from sirens and cars speeding past with loud engines. AtWater can't do anything about this of course, but it's important to know. A good white noise machine helps a lot for this. The community is pet-friendly and even celebrates a different pet each month with a visible pet profile and picture. This was a small but meaningful nice touch. Having a 5 minute walk to the lakefront is *very* easy having a dog as well as a quick walk to 3 major dog park areas around the area. Maintenance is responsive, legit and friendly - top-notch staff!

We have just moved in to Atwater and have lived here in 1 week now. We are satisfied with everything. this place is perfect located with downtown Chicago as closest neighbour and having Lake Michigan in the view from our appartment. The staff is helpful and kind in all situations. Special thanks to Monica in the Auite office. Always helpful and answering our questions with a smile. The Amenities in this place is comfortable and There's great and friendly neighbours to talk to. Now we are waiting for warmer period so we also can use the nice pool area outside. We will strongly recommend this appartment Bacility for other residents. //Mikael

This building offers a clean, urban experience in the heart of Streeterville. The building operates like a well oiled machine, with a rather impeccable staff. I will agree with the other two reviews that the leasing team can seem a bit stuffy; but, the door staff, cleaning staff and maintenance teams were a pleasure to interact with. also, they certainly know how to celebrate the holidays, and they regularly dote upon their residents. The inclusion of most utilities in rent along with great parking makes this a complete package. Of course every apartment complex has its challenges. For me, the noise was the element that makes me cringe. Some residents seemed to think that luxury meant that they could do what they wanted when they wanted without concern for the community. Despite this, I worth checking out this property. but, maybe you should avoid a studio since you have little to buffer the hallway clatter.

Just moved in and we are impressed by the Plawless service in this community. First night of my move, I was having trouble opening the door and the maintenance colleague that simply happened to be passing by volunteered to help me. After he opened the door, he noticed one of the blinds was broken and volunteered to fix it on the spot. The leasing office has also gone above and beyond and has been extremely supportive! Everything has been impeccable so far and we even got a bottle of Rose from them on the day of our move. I worked in the property mgmt industry for many years so I would like to think I am a pretty hard critic, and I have nothing but great things to say about this team! Lastly, we are happy with our new Apace! We were concerned about moving into a smaller Apace, but we got an incredible deal and the layout works well. The place is extremely well-finished and featured all of the high-end finishes you would expect for this market. I would definitely say this community is a great find in one of the best neighborhoods in Downtown Chicago! Big thanks and shoutout to Monica!

Beverly and the staff are amazing. Everyone who works in the Btructure are extremely helpful and polite, and the amenities are first class! The sauna room and steam room accommodate the peloton bikes that the gym has. My niece also loves the indoor hot tubs. awesome spot to live!

really nice building; well-kept and cared for by maintenance and staff. New mgmt has been great and initiated positive changes in the community. Rental rate is expensive though given the quality of finishings and size of units.

Short version: Let me just say I went to bed that first night with the biggest smile thinking that I’m so grateful to be here, and that I love this Aad more than my last, and more than my one in Paris as well! —— Having been someone that grew up living in Athens, Jeddah, Dubai and Cairo, then as an adult moving myself from Dubai to Paris to Chicago, I was frustrated to feel the need to move from my first Chicago Aad due to the rent hikes and thought I would end up feeling frustrated in my new place, but instead thanks to Beverly and the Atwater Apartments existing I instead found my most Btunning home! I actually moved in a record time for myself. From reaching out to Beverly in the building mgmt team to making a decision, everything was easy and well explained. Then with my busy schedule and travels they were accommodating and helped me plan my move so that I could be done moving, mounting, unpacking and cleaning one day after my key handover date which was also a day before I left for vacation. Let me just say I went to bed that first night with the biggest smile thinking that I’m so grateful to be here, and that I love this Aad more than my last, and more than my one in Paris as well! I highly recommend you consider making Atwater home and happy to answer any questions about that move!

I have lived in Atwater now for 2 years, and I could go on and on about how wonderful my experience has been. To start, the gym/common areas/elevators/hallways are CONSTANTLY being cleaned. I have never seen anything like it. It's more than just an apartment complex, but a community. From the maintenance staff to the leasing office to the front desk, they make an effort to know you by name and I feel like I come back to family when I walk into the doors after a long day. For a newer building I feel that this is hard to find. I have lived in Miami, New York, and Florence, and I have never had such a positive experience in an apartment as I do in Atwater. --- and ------ have helped me a ton in the leasing office. I have constantly emailed with both, and they will do anything to help anyone. You don't find people like them often. Front desk staff such as ---, -------, and ------- are absolutely incredible. All three are such positive people who make you feel at home and are always there to answer any questions. I can't recommend this apartment complex enough/community enough.

This used to be a really great place to live. Due to changes in mgmt, noise issues, and changes to the neighborhood, I am trying to move out of here ASAP. NOISE. Since new mgmt took over, they have been renovating units when people move out. The noise from these renovations is intolerable. it's extremely loud (equivalent to someone using a jackhammer a few feet away from you) and It's a constant. During the week, all day until about 5:30. Weekends vary, but I've been listening to it since 8am this particular Saturday morning. I can't remember the last time I was able to sleep in. plus, mgmt sends noise warning emails about once a week, but the noise never is limited to the floors/days they say. It also doesn't help that a new high rise is being constructed right across the street that will block views of the Lake. That brings noise all day every day Monday to Saturday Staff. mgmt isn't helpful. They really seem to focus their attention on bringing new residents to the Blace than trying to make the existing ones happy. The door and package staff is really great - Farm and courteous. Some of the folks in the mgmt office could learn a lesson from them. Amenities. Generally pretty nice. They do a good job of maintaining common areas. sadly some of the residents can be pretty nasty in terms of being slobs around the pool and gym (dirty towels, littering, etc). Overall I've just seen the quality of the Blace, the mgmt (and the residents moving in) decline. I guess things might be nicer after all these renovations are complete. Given there must be close to 500 apartments to renovate, I don't think the noise and construction issues are going away any time soon. I would have never renewed my lease if I had been told the renovation work was taking place.
