This building has gone downhill since Crescent Heights took over. The elevators are slow and Mgt. keeps them keyed off so they can show the model units to buyers. This building has fallen apart lately. The Habitat Company kept the building up and managed it very well. Crescent Heights is more concerned with making money than making the residents happay.

Living in this building has become UNBEARABLE since the condo conversion started. The management office has never returned a single one of my calls.

Units are spacious, but the window heating/cooling units do a terrible job of both heating and cooling. Elevators are taken out of commission for construction workers during peak times -- waiting to get downstairs in the morning can often take 5-10 minutes.

The staff outside of the management office is extremely pleasant and courteous. The doorstaff is fantastic and maintenace is always prompt.

They´re doing wonderful things to the building, but residents are paying the price by living with noise and inconveniences -- and a management office that treats rental residents like second-class citizens.

I loved my stay at 30 E. Huron! Cresent Heights, after buying the building this summer, made it an even more accomadating place to live.

Day or night, if I had a problem, maintenence, fixed it! Breakfast was served on Fridays, Lily, the property manager was always available. I had to leave early to begin my residency, and she took to time to resolve all issues.

I am sorry I won´t be around to enjoy the pool this summer. Hopefully, I can return to Chicago to purchase one of your AMAZING 2 bedroom condos.

THANKS FOR A GREAT LIVING EXPERIENCE!

How sad are you? It´s obvious you are bolstering your poor ratings. Sorry. Everyone can tell you´re management.

This building is a ---- hole. DO NOT RENT HERE. Noisy, rude, incompetent staff....I´m moving out as soon as I can sublet.

New rental management doesn´t know their left from their right hand and the maintenance staff are not able to fix problems in the apartment after several attempts. When Habitat ran the building, they kept it up. Now, the new management wants to make a quick buck, turn it over to a condo association and have the association fix all of the problems.

Terrible heating/cooling system (window units) and there´s not enough hot water for a shower at peak hours when the weather´s cold. Also, there are problems with the windows.

STAY AWAY!

Ever since Cresent Heights began managing the building several months ago, the overall sense of community and happiness has gone down hill fast. The employees are downright rude. Several times my husband and I called with questions and never once received a return phone call. When we were finally able to move out, the staff did not even know we were residents of the building. They thought we were there to inquire about purchasing a unit (yeah right)! It is surprising that after all the bad experiences we have had with the management company, they are still honestly puzzled as to why they are not selling units!! Go figure! Beware: Stay far away!!

I lived at Huron Plaza for two years. I loved the location. The noise level in the building was excellent as well as the service and the units had excellent closet space. But, I would never rent there again because the building has a serious problem with spider infestation. The spiders are everywhere in the units and I lived in two different units in the building and both units had the same problem and other renters complained about the same thing. Huron Plaza really needs to do something to rectify the problem because it is totally ridiculous.

We were in Chicago for 22 months before moving to the NY.

My husband and I absolutely oved our apartment. The management staff were excellent, able to fix anything at short notice. Loads of storage in the apartments, great views and amenities.

We have been very disappointed with our reolation and accomodation here, but if you are looking for a great home in Chicago I would without hesitation recomment Huron Plaza.

My name is Dave and I have lived in the Chicago area for most of my life, and Huron Plaza is by far the best apartment I´ve ever lived in. The units are very large for the area and have the best views of Chicago out of all the buildings that I looked at before I chose Huron Plaza as my home. The best part of all is how great the staff is, the door staff are friendly and extremely helpful, the maintenance staff are prompt and reliable, the leasing staff does anything for the tenants, and last but not least is our fabulous building manager (Connie) who is always there for everyone. I highly recomend Huron Plaza as a great home to everyone in Chicago !!! As The Habtit Company says managment truly does make the differance.
