I have lived in this community for over 2 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. I mean this property isn't perfect, but what property is? You've got some minor maintenance issues but the staff has really proved themselves to me by taking care of those problems right away. I have read some of the other messages and am really shocked that they were dissatisfied with the property, were they living on the same property as me!! I love Schaumburg Villas and worth checking out it to all of my family and friends. I think that those people who had issues with Schaumburg Villas were either in competition with this complex or renters who were not good renters.Like I said earlier.. I love this property and worth checking out it to all of my family and friends that were in search of an Auite with a location's amazing, spacious apartments for a low and afforadable price!

First of all, they should be ashamed of themselves. The people in the office are useless, they charge for water, this is an apartment complex, not a ------- house, they can't take a phone message to save their lives,I am so ------- tired of hearing "We'll see what we can do" "we'll send someome over" or "we'll write it down" what a bunch of fucing lies. I had a water leak in my kitchen,I called them up and what did I hear "We'll send someone over, well that someone still hasnt shown up,I'll just call a plumber and take it off the ------- rent. I am gonna start looking for another apartment soon,or I may just break my lease, this place is a ------- joke!

If you are smart don't move to Schaumburg Villa's They will take your money, lie right to your face, steal your belongings if you let them in your Aad while you are not home. I am tired of their crap and I am moving when my lease is up at the end of this month..

If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have moved in. I have had loud music played outside my Bomplex (2219 pennview) at 3:00 in the morning, I constantly see the door propped open because they don't have an intercom system even after they told me that they were putting them in soon and now they have no idea when they are putting them in.

I am a person who pays rent on time so I have no issues with that. I expect that when I put in a maintenance request that it won't take 3-4 times before something is done. Also you don't only have one washer and dryer for a six unit Bomplex. They need to learn from other complexs around here like the amli and others how to manage an Apace complex

I am responding to the person that said that the only reason why people say It's bad is because they pay their rent late or something of that sort. Well because of my salary, I can't afford anything decent so I have to be here, I have paid rent on time all the time and as soon as I can find another job with higher pay, I am gone. I hate this place. Just last sunday I had to witness, along with my two kids under the age of 5, the police hold down two guys coming out of the apartment building BY GUNPOINT.That's not something that anyone should have to witness and if this is such a awesome spot, I should not have to witness that at all. The front door to the building has not locked in a year even though mgmt has been told and actually one of the employees lives in my building. This place is truly a dump and the people who own it treat it as such since they let anyone live here.

This complex is pure crap. They have a $300.00 thing that if you get someone to move in you get the $300.00 bucks, well That's a lie cause I had my cousin move in here cause of that deal and I am still waiting for the money. Don't get a Alat on the first floor cause your bound to get a loud neighbor with loud assed kids or babies who run around the Alat and disturbed the hell out of you. My cousin and I are going to look for another Alat and break our leases, this place don't deserve our money cause they are a bunch of scam artists.

I recently moved out of Schaumburg Villas because I Wtayed fortunate enough to buy a home. I Wtayed a resident for 3 years and Wtayed always satisfied w/the staff & maintenance. Especially Gio(I think that's his name). He Wtayed always legit & I never had to wait. The office staff Wtayed always polite & helpful. I would refer a friend to the property.

It amazes me how you people can charge as much as you do for rent, when your ------- maintenence Rctually sucks, inside and out. tenants have to wait and get inside work done, but when you people want to check our apartments we have to drop everything be home for you and kiss your asses, that Rctually sucks a rats hairy ---.Outside shoveling Ippears even worse. The parking lots arent shoveled or plowed so residents can fall and hurt themselves, plus they have to shovel their cars out to go anywhere. I can't see how you can charge high prices for rent. The Knollwood and Pennview sidewalks are a ------- ice skating rink, people have to walk in the street because of it. Myself and some of the tenants have gotten together and we will be talking with the corporate office and the village and report this account of what we have seen. If nothing still isn't done we will be contacting our lawyers, just in case one of falls and gets injured. If nothing Ippears done in a week,we will take matters in our own hands and we will win. What a ------- DUMP.

When I moved in, I thought it was a good place to stay... but time proved me wrong. You've got so many bad things about this Aad complex, that I wonder if I will hit the word limit for this message. This place is awful! The general appearance of the place is old and run down. It doesn't have the type of people that you would want around your children!

First some good thing about the complex:
(i) You can pay rent by credit cards. but, you can not make the credit card payment over the phone.

(ii) Gas is included in the rent.

(iii)Rents are comparatively low... or so it might seem, till you see your summer electricity bill.

(iv) Golf Road is close by.

Cons: Plenty, but here are few...
(i) Emergency service means that you will get the help in 8 hours. But ofcourse, they will make you pay $25 promptly.

(ii) Unpleasant mangement and rude staff. Looks like they get paid to annoy you. Once the pilot burner of my kitchen stove wasn't working. Upon complain, we got an advice to buy a cheap lighter from Wal-Mart.

(iii) Poor maintenance. After repeated complains, they will send in an incompetent service man who will fix the problem... only to resurface again as soon as he is out of door.

(iv) Laundary rooms are not for asthama patients. If the washer and dryer goes out of order (which happens quite frequently), you have to call the equipment manufacturer on your own, and you will get no support, whar-so-ever from the mgmt.

(v) If heavens breaks loose, and you have to move in here, make sure you don´t take the house on first and second floor. Water from laundary seeps into living room, and fungus will be your guests... and they won´t even pay their fair share of rent.

(vi) Poor parking space. But It's better that you park your car else-where. Vandalism isn't uncommon. Friday´s evening, I´m scared of my own neighborhood.

(vii) Pray hard before opening your electricity bills in summer months. This Aad complex is the only place in whole of Illinois where the summer starts in April itself and lasts through October. Your electricity bill will remind you that it´s summer. The AC units here predates dinosaurs. If I can generalize by experience, electricity bill will never be less than $180 in summer. Call the mgmt, and they will send a guy who will say he himself pays $350 for his electricity, and grin at you and just walk out on you. No AC unit has a log sheet pasted on it, and There's no way for you to know when this metal junk was last checked, or it´s filter was changed. Call the mgmt, and they will tell you about the electric company´s installment bill payment plan.

(viii) Call Rental office with a complain, and someone there might already be having the same problem in their own house... or at least they say so. I called them for my leaking toilet flush, and the person there said that´s the common problem with conventional flushs, and even he has the same problem at his house. He adviced me to change the way I flush my toilet. I´m glad he didn´t ask me to stop flushing the toilets. By the way, even today I have a problem with my toilet flush.

(ix) Carpets are so old that geologists can use them as a model for study of Earth´s origin.

(x) You pay for the water, even when you are out of house for the whole month. The community water consumption is equally divided among the people sharing it, and you pay your share.

(xi) If you are planning to get high-speed cable internet connection, don´t even consider moving here. The cable lines are so old and obsolete that it just refuses to get along with the new technology. AT&T will still give you the internet connection, but you will come to know that you have internet only when you get your monthly bill.

(xii) The walls seeps during the spring season.

(xiii)If your Aad windows have no blinds, you won´t get any. But the mgmt will definately give you the list of shops you can buy blinds cheaply from.
