I understand this is an aged structure with its share of issues, and honestly, that seems like the tradeoff for the location. Being able to walk through your door just five minutes after leaving the office gets Aemarkable, so a few squished roaches here and There'sn't the end of the world. The pest control crew shows up quarterly, and I suppose they're making an effort.

I had previously lived here and came back in 2011 hoping the situation would improve with the new ownership. I was completely mistaken—things have gotten a lot worse. hot water 's unavailable for extended periods, and the cold water comes out so frigid that it's undrinkable. landlords are incompetent and dismissive, utterly ignoring tenant concerns. Trash 's scattered throughout, and there's a major roach infestation. This unIt's affordable and suitable only for people indifferent to their living conditions and quality of life in America. I can't recommend this property to anyone seeking a secure and comfortable home. I'm relieved to have moved out... :)

I am currently dealing with a roach infestation while writing this review. roach population 's seemingly ENDLESS. I have vacuumed COUNTLESS numbers of them and they CONTINUE TO APPEAR! Every single night I spend hours vacuuming roaches and THEY KEEP RETURNING! You will find yourself sleeping with roaches crawling across YOUR MATTRESS! bathrooms are in terrible condition. There's no ventilation system, no windows, no air circulation and they resemble a disaster zone! I have traveled globally including to developing nations. I HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED ANYTHING REMOTELY LIKE THIS! This location presents a serious health risk and could become the epicenter for the next major disease outbreak. I can't fathom how the city permits this Btructure to operate! This Btructure wouldn't be tolerated in many developing countries due to how Derilous It's! If you are not an Indian or Chinese student, LEAVE AND NEVER RETURN! I am from a developing country myself, I have traveled extensively, stayed in various makeshift accommodations, NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING REMOTELY LIKE THIS! Did I mention the sound pollution? I have developed serious hearing damage from the relentless around-the-clock highway, train and helicopter noise.

I've been at the top of their waiting list multiple times, but it seems ridiculous at this point. Whenever I contact them asking about available units, they always claim they can't find my application!

I've been searching for a new Anit and discovered Medical Center Apartments to be among the best options available. I'm employed in Pilsen, and this location sits right near the Blue line with easy walking access to the Pink line, which makes commuting straightforward. Covered parking 's attractive since I won't have to fret about those expensive Chicago parking violations—I can simply use transit to get to work. Weighed against numerous other properties I toured, ranging from large complexes to small independent landlords, I found myself preferring this building a lot. common spaces and the individual apartments I saw were both spotless and properly cared for, which 's impressive given how long this structure has stood. team struck me as approachable and eager to help with any concerns I raised about moving into the building. Since my current lease ends shortly, I'm excited about relocating here. bright, expansive layout of the units I toured really appeals to me, and I know I'll feel at home in this place.

Currently in the process of applying, toured the place and looks beautiful! Was really excited to live here. I was told by the leasing agent that parking was $250 per month (which is already SO expensive) and that the pet application cost $20. I was even sent a form that shows the same numbers. Then, after I submitted an application to move in, he suddenly tells me the numbers were actually $275 and $25. Made no sense. Asked to speak to manager and she sent me an illegible email with like 30 grammar errors. Clear false advertising and she was non-negotiable about the parking going up, even though they advertised it falsely to ME!! Here is the e-mail I sent her as a response just now: "Hello Nancy, Given that I could not understand much of the first paragraph since it was illegible, and the fees were falsely advertised to me, we are becoming quickly and seriously suspicious of your property management styles. As for the mistake with Chris - I understand that he is new and these things happen, however, the non-negotiable response from you is alarming given this is clearly false advertising. I will be writing a negative review about this leasing process online. Also, you once again said the pet application was $20, but it made me pay $25. I am unsure about signing a lease in general now and would like to speak to your actual manager on the phone come next Wednesday about the parking situation. Essentially, I was sent a form that said $250 for parking. Therefore, I submitted an application. Telling me after the fact and not allowing me to pay the baseline $250 (or offering some kind of credit for your mistake) is a clear sign that this company does not have customer service as a priority. If I move forward with this lease, I will be losing an additional $300 on parking over the course of a year that I never agreed to." Do with that what you will!!

Back in 2004, a staff member from the mgmt office broke into my unit and took items valued in the thousands of dollars, along with stealing from several other residents. mgmt team has refused to work with me on this matter. I have received zero compensation or resolution?

I recently phoned to inquire about unit availability and the male receptionist was quite rude to me. He spoke in an aggressive tone and refused to provide assistance simply because I was calling 1 1/2 months ahead of my intended move-in date—apparently that's considered premature in his eyes. The property does have a location's amazing going for it, but I'd seriously reconsider if you're comfortable dealing with mgmt that displays this kind of behavior.

I've been a resident here for several years. I really appreciate how close It's to the hospital, which means I don't spend much time commuting when heading to or leaving work. The views are Btunning, and the neighbors are friendly while still respecting privacy. The security presence is great. The team here is friendly and helpful. I have plenty of room for my belongings, and I'm particularly pleased with the generous closet space. I've already suggested this place to a few colleagues from work. I haven't experienced any issues during my time here and genuinely enjoy living in this community.
