I am a US Vietnam Veteran. I am looking for a apartment me for me an my family. There is three people in my three people in our family so we are trying to find a two bedroom apartment. But we leave on a small income so I hope in your hearts you can help us find something in your hearts our price range and that is from 660.00-710.00 an we need to move as soon as possible. I also recently moved in and was so happy with my overall experience. The staff went over and above to help coordinate my move in. The staff is very professional and friendly. The rent is affordable and you cannot beat the location!

I recently moved to Chicago and was pleasantly surprised that the staff at Medical Center Apartments was able to assist me with a quick move in. I arrived in Chicago on a Monday and requested a immediate move in. The staff processed me and moved me in by wed and I was able to register for school without the stress or worry of being displaced. My apartment is clean and the building is quiet.

They have the worst management. They dont have records maintained properly and cant keep a track of rental payments. The management is involved in RENTAL SCAMS and harasses their tenants for rent. For one whole winter they did not have laundry and very rude to the tenants. The place is fully infested with ROACHES and bugs. Sometimes you wont have even hot water service and heat as well. I would not recommend anyone to live here and the staff likes torturing and harassing the tenants.

I am battling roaches as I write this review. There is an UNLIMITED supply of roaches. I have vacuumed THOUSANDS of them and they KEEP COMING! Every night I spend hours vacuuming the roaches and THEY KEEP COMING! You will be sleeping with roaches crawling all over YOUR BED! The bathrooms are an effing disaster. There is no exhaust system in them, no windows, no ventilation and they look like a crime scene! I have lived around the world including in so-called third world countries. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS! This place is a severe health hazard and is going to be ground zero for the next outbreak of the bubonic plague. I CANNOT believe the city allows this building to exist! This building will not be allowed to exist in many so-called third world countries it is that hazardous! Unless you are an Indian or Chinese student, RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK! I come from a developing nation myself, I have backpacked around the world, stayed in barns and abandoned trailer homes, NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS! Did I tell you about the noise levels? I have developed severe tinnitus due to the ceaseless 24/7 highway, train and helicopter rotor noises.

Absolute terrible living conditions. No heat whatsoever. -15 degree weather felt -15 inside as well. No compensation to tenants, or the offer to buy space heaters for duration of lack of heat. Hot water is a thing unheard of. It has never been this bad, as it has since last year. Numerous complaints to 311 result in absolutely nothing. Does the building have insiders working at the City Hall who stick the reports in shredder without letting the superiors see them? As of writing this report, the elevators have been out of commission since this afternoon. If you live on the 17th floor, best of luck to you climbing the stairs. My plans for this evening include testing the new space heater I had to purchase, and look for better living places. One gets the feeling that the management is on a mission to drive the tenants out. Could it be true? Maintenance staff, and employees are nice and easy to communicate with. The upper management is another story.

This is a terrible place to stay. No heat until mid winter. Even then, there will only be slight heat. No HOT WATER. Full of roaches. Stinking elevates.

Yet another negative complaint. Do NOT rent this place. My student is renting an apartment there. She is pregnant, the her apartment has not had hot water for almost 2 months. She has requested repairs in person over 7 times, but the problem is still there. This is only one of the numerous problems she has told me about.

Bad management, leave us no heating, no hot water for weeks in harsh winter

The place continues to go down due to bad management. The management office does not respond to any repair request. The building has not had heat yet and did not get heat last year until well into the winter season. I don't know how the manager or the person she reports to sleep at night knowing the conditions the tenant are under. The hot water is off every other day and the management give the same lies that they are fixing on it. How long are you going to fix on it???????
