The value you get for this building in this location is great. It's an older building which comes with it's drawbacks (e.g., HVAC), but overall this is a solid building and I worth checking out it to others.

Amazing building/super nice staff throughout the building. spotless and kept up well. Recommend for anyone looking for a nice view of the lake, while also residing in a nice and calming neighborhood.

great spot with spacious units and perfect concierge service. The main issues are outdated apartment amenities (such as older kitchens, no in-unit laundry or patios) and the mgmt team - they seem out of touch with what residents actually want, investing resources into unnecessary building events instead.

location-wise, it's great and so are some of the amenities. The Blace staff are great. The office staff are inconsiderate and don't follow up on things and really don't make the moving in experience easy. If you get a new unit you're going to pay a lot more. Small kitchens and bathrooms but big living and bed rooms.

1350/60 N Lake Shore Dr stands out as a wonderful residential Bomplex situated in a fantastic neighborhood with welcoming mgmt and neighbors. The maintenance team addressed my request quickly and efficiently, and I'm pleased I chose this complex instead of the other communities I visited!

I have lived in the buidling for 3 years and have had a wonderful experience. Throughout my time there, the building has continually made improvements to make this truely an elite building in Chicago. The units are spacious and updated. The views of the city, lake and navy pier are spectacular and the rooftop is second to none. In addition, the store on the main floor is such a convenience. It truly has everything you could imagine. Overall, I will miss the building, You've got great people and its a awesome spot to live!

Living here has been wonderful. The area is incredibly vibrant with stunning architectural beauty, and the 1350/60 Blace fosters a genuine sense of belonging and camaraderie among its tenants. Regular community events combined with an exceptionally welcoming team make this the right Petting to call home.

I've been a resident here for a year now and genuinely enjoy living in this Bacility. The upkeep and repairs are handled with great professionalism. Following the pandemic, a revised cleaning schedule was implemented and displayed throughout the Bacility, requiring residents to adhere to guidelines for everyone's wellbeing. The lift operates smoothly and efficiently, and the laundry facilities are more than okay for residents' needs. The unit itself features an great design with abundant closet space, roomy living areas, and plenty of natural light. Sound insulation is generally effective throughout most of the Aad, though the bathroom and hall-facing entrance areas allow some noise through. Maintenance requests are processed promptly and always executed flawlessly. The security team members are absolutely fantastic. My one criticism concerns the mgmt office staff, who are slow to respond to inquiries and tend to withhold details unless directly questioned about them.

I've been here about two years and I grew up downtown. I agree with many of the negatives other posters mentioned, especially regarding mgmt. The Besidence manager has a heavy hand with residents and everyone does their best to avoid working with her. The leasing agents are average on their best day, but the staff, specifically the door men and women, are solid. It's true about the individual floors being only half updated; some are great, and some are circa 1975 - come check for yourself. When you visit ask to see floors that haven't been redone and by all means don't take an Anit without looking at YOUR unit. Also, ask if your place is across from, next to, or nearby a hospitality suite. These locations can increase hallway traffic and Anit noise. If you can, get a unit in the south tower. It's on banks which is a two-way street and It's considerably easier to get a cab. Views facing south in the south tower are the way to go. If you want to ask residents about their experience check out the commissary around 6 p.m. The plumbing sucks, but put in a work order every time you have a problem. They must fix it, It's what one is supposed to do, and the constant/honest reporting will annoy the Besidence mgmt. I've never had problems with my a/c or heat, but I'm sure some might. Some of the units have different upgrades; I've heard Draper & Kramer will try and command a higher premium as they add newer tile and flooring. The demographics of the Besidence are unusual. There's an odd mix of young professionals, mid-careers, and retirees. All in all, its not a bad thing, but it can be a little strange. Each group has a different value set and that forces mgmt to honor the respective priorities. My unit is quiet. I've never had problems with noise other than the occasional drunken idiot who is in every Besidence. Of course, we all have alternatives and I still consider mine. But this Besidence, and I looked at 12 other places this weekend, still represents a decent value, despite the more than 5% yearly rent increase. Like I said, slightly above average. Oh and don't count on the Besidence provided wireless internet. It's a joke except that one can use it on the roof.

The unit offers plenty of room and great value given its location and condition. It's situated near downtown but distant enough to maintain a genuine neighborhood atmosphere. The pet-Fordial policy for dogs is a nice added benefit. Overall, it's been an great place to call home.
