I couldnt wait to get out of here. I agree with everyone else's comments about location/nice lobby, but the management is a disgrace. I had a fire from the faulty (super cheap) ovens, and then the replacement stove broke 2 months ago and still isn't repaired.(also..when i had the fire, my smoke alarms didn't go off, nor did the ones in the hallway go off, and there was plenty of smoke to trigger it, cited by the CFD) The refrigerator always leaks with water on to the floor (mgt. said don't use the bottom shelves), and my floor is warped from water. They refused to replace the floor after the fire( more warping), and then when a water pipe broke inside my wall and flooded the floors, they just painted over the water stains on the wall and STILL wouldn't replace the floors, despite my request due to allergies and asthma! There is visible mold on the walls! Also, I had to hire an exterminator due to so many gross centipedes despite living on the top floor! The fuses constantly go out with minimal appliance usage and they never clean the a/c or cover them in the winter, so when you try to use it, tons of crap blows out at you. This place definately isn't worth it,location or not! Many of my friends live in the neighborhood with equivalent sized apts. that are cheaper and are very well kept up! LOOK ELSEWHERE!

I lived here for a couple of years but have since moved out of the city due to my job. I most certainly enjoyed my time in this building. I always found the management helpful and courteous. Also, the location of this building could not be better. Everything you need is in the area and there is always something to do. I felt the pricing of the apartment was comparable to that of other building in the area that I initially looked at, so I definitely have no complaints about that. Parking can sometimes be an issue, but you have to remember you are living in the city and it's going to be an issue pretty much anywhere. If I never moved for work, I have no doubt that I would still be living in this building. I absolutely loved my time here.

The craftsmenhip in this building is pathetic. and the people who manage this building are even worse. It took them 5 months to replace a microwave, and when they did they installed one that was to heavy which collapsed the entire kitchen cabinets, breaking 75% of my dishes and glass ware, they fixed the cabinets two days later but refused to re-imburse me for the damage.

The shower pressure is just a little stronger than a squirt gun. Even though i pay 800 bucks!! 800 (for a studio) i stay at my girlfriends most of the time, cause she has a good shower and a air conditioner that's properly ventalated.

The only good thing about this place is the location, but i feel that the landlords take advantage of this and don't follow through on proper upkeep. the managment is very nice when your thinking of renting but talk down to you when you have a problem, and become very frustated when they're approached with a problem. In other words they are cold and don't give a damn about their tennents.
I am moving out of chicago in a year and don't feel like moving for 8 months and then have to move again, otherwise i would be outta here, luckily for you it's not too late to "just say no" to this building!

This is a great building with a quality renovation and an unbeatable location....quiet tree lined street one block from lake and train. Andrea is really nice. Elevator a little slow on weekends.
