I've lived in this building for almost two years and overall, I am satisfied. The landlord is great about maintaining the building and responds to tenants needs in a timely manner. this place is generally quiet and other tenants seem to be friendly. this place is spotless and There's no evidence of pests. Many units have hardwood floors, fireplaces and bookshelves. The building and individual units seem more interesting in layout and design than other apartments I have visited. The neighborhood feels safe and public transportation is abundant. You've got 2 express buses at the building (145/148 & 135) and 3 more just a block away at Marine Drive (146, 144, & 136). The Sheridan Red Line stop is about a 12-minute walk away. Street parking is generally easy during the day, but sometimes difficult after 7 or 8p.m. but, There's a pay lot less than a block away. There's a small grocery store, restaurant, cleaners and cafe' right around the corner and other businesses and a library about a block away. Just a note, the listing is under "Cmi Corporation." I believe That's the name and phone number of the previous owner. this place is now under Buena Place Properties: 773-715-1258.
