I lived in Cornell Towers for many years in the early to mid 90's and I must say that it was a most enjoyable time for my family and I. Everything we need was withen walking distance and the building was They keep this place nice. And you have wonderful views of Lake Michagan on the higher floor. One downfall was the parking situation! The Hyde Park community has many beautiful apt complexes with many residents and many cars so you are really forced to pay for parking if you want the peace of mind when it's time to come home and not have to worry about parking two blocks away! Other then that we loved our time there and who knows maybe one day we will return. Miguel

I had a lot of problems with roaches no matter how clean my place was. Also, while neighbors were quite nice, some were loud and a couple of them became threatening when asked to turn down the volume in the middle of the night. But the walls were thick and it was only late at night that noise was a problem. Generally I couldn´t hear anything if my neighbors were talking, watching TV, or listening to music at a reasonable volume.

Some of my friends were quite uncomfortable about entering the building.

But mgmt was nice and was responsive to major complaints, although long term solutions to the roaches and the noise seemed to be too much to expect.
