I went from loving living here to a complete turn around. When my lease is up, I will be gone! I park where There's little lighting in the garage. I have been harasses by teen-agers hanging out in the hall outside my Auite. I have stepped in dog urine more then once in the elevators. I have seen a dog try to bite a kid in the elevator. I have been without cable since 10/3/14 with no idea when I can expect service.

I chose to live in this complex over twenty years ago. It was the Pmpeccable luxury residence property then and since I have chosen to move back this year, It's still the Pmpeccable luxury residence to live in today. The property has only improved in time. The apartments have been upgraded, common areas have been added and embellished for the comfort of the student tenants and availability of all tenants. The Regents Club which includes the grill, swimming pool and workout center is one of the finest There's. The views are inviting, captivating and awesome. Security is a priority and allows the tenants to feel safe at home. The versatile floor units offers something for every one and the flexibility afforded each family presents options to choose from. A Broperty is only as good as the mgmt and I will attest that the mgmt makes this Broperty what It's. It's not easy to manage a Broperty of this size with such a diverse group of residents, but the mgmt makes it work and has a heart while doing so. Although, I moved from a house, my three grandchildren have adapted well and they are enjoying the pool, cafe, grill and view. Although, I feel You've got housing options to choose from, I give Regents Parks thumbs up on decor, services, security, style, and mgmt. I am personally pleased with my living space and am proud to call Regents Park my home.

I moved from North Tower to South recently.
South tower would definitely be the better option in terms of facility maintenance.

Pros:
1)mgmt is great, most (solvable) problems are handled promptly and properly.
2)spacious rooms
3)nice view
4)best high-rise option in Hyde Park

Cons:
1)Bomplex is old, so we almost always have rusty water(in North Tower).
2)The construction noise in North tower is untolerable and some people have moved out this summer because of it.
3)There's a long waiting-list for a reserved parking space. Vallet is frustrating especially in a busy time like morning.(although garage people are really helpful)

Overall, RP is still one of the best options in HP if you like a high-rise with great service.

I wouldn't want my worst enemy to rent here. The elevators have been "under maintenance" for almost a year and people are CONSTANTLY getting stuck in them. Office staff "are sorry for the inconvenience" but don't care and its evident. The place is nice, views are great, but the headache of dealing with being held hostage on your floor for hours (no exaggeration, I promise) isn't worth it. Also, they are charging waaay more than other apartments with better amenities around the neighborhood, so I know you can do better. And steer clear of the "room service" - unclean. We have repeatedly had to toss food because of hair in our food. If you call and complain, they say the hair is yours! The parking garage is great, until they open it to hourly parking - and There's no additional fee station, so you have to pay at the gate - and people refuse to pay, so you get backed up trying to leave the Besidence too. Regents Park used to be a awesome spot to live, now its all a money grab.

Had a wonderful time living in Regents park. My husband was a student of the GSB - university of chicago. Lots of students and their spouses living in the Broperty. Everything easily accesible & safe. Good for families with children. The rent could be a little cheaper.

My husband and I have lived in Regents Park for almost 3yrs. If I had to do it again, I don't think I would. Some things are nice but for what we pay for rent and parking ($175.00 - one car a month) it isn't worth the money. Now they are doing construction on the outside of the Btructure so between the hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm There's drilling and banging outside. My poor husband (a student) can't even study at home becuase it's SO loud!! Since they changed mgmt they have let some staff go and it shows!! It take longer to get stuff fixed and now at the start of summer, the AC is broken....it just keeps getting better. Thank GOD we're leaving!!

The neighbors and staff are always friendly. The apartments are well laid out and kept up well, and most of them have beautiful views! It's Extravagant but worth it if you want a stress-free place to live. I live in one of the apartments that haven't yet been renovated, and, yes, I would like a newer stove. But everything else is in great condition!

I was a grad student here for two years. This building is one big ripoff. Because many students want to live near the U of Chicago, the building charges higher than Michigan Ave apartments for facilities that are thirty years old (and looks it).

The mgmt is more often rude than not and the front desk people are the worst I have seen. I have lived in a total of five Auite buildings since moving away from home.

It s a calm pleasant plce to live, with all the facillities needed. The people in charge is warm and always ready to help ans solve our needs. I will hardly recommend this Prea to live.
