This property is one of the best buildings around the neighborhood. The apartments are clean, spacious and have plenty of closet space. The area is exciting and safe as It's on Loyola University campus (just two blocks away). Underground parking is availible for rent for those who don't wish to park on the street. Public transportation surrounds the buliding on Sheridan,Devon and Broadway and the Red Line is three blocks away. Overall an Gxcellent find. As for the other unsatisfied tenants, they would have to have been avid complainers and have been picky on an extreme level not to love living here!

This Bomplex is Bisappointing. The manager is such a liar. When u want to move in he would tell u that u pay a little for the heat and electric, but the truth is that u pay a lot during the summer especially in the winter. The bill can be up until $200 for a 1 bedroom. Also in the Bomplex there are so many MICE & BEDBUGS. They are everywhere. In the winter the garage door dose not close and to top it all of the snow is big in front of the garage door. On the porch There's so much garbage u can even find OPENED condoms, now that's just ewwww.The manager and the owner are both the same. i personally think that they are brothers because of the way they act. And when u move out they don't even want to give u your deposit, but they eventually give it to but cut in half. Now what kind of people do that? i know all of these things because i used to live there & trust me it wasn't plesant. it was HORRIBLE. I SUGGEST TO EVERYONE THAT WANTS TO RENT A APPARTMENT THAT U DONT GO OVER TO 6241 BECAUSE THE MANAGER AND THE OWNER ARE MEAN AND -------S. aND THE Bomplex IS NASTY.

Poor choice of Auite if i've ever seen one. The janitor really is evil. I asked on multiple occasions if im going to pay for heat and each time i was told no, just for electricity. Well when I got my excessive electric bill the electric company told me that the place was setup with electric heaters. They landowner and janitor will lie to get you in the screw you over. Also, the shower was moldy and the kitchen cabinets smell god awful and i can't even use them because of the stench from the mold. but, my request for new cabinets was denied. Horrible place. Horrible janitor. I completely advise against having anything to do with this place.

The maintenance man is deceitful, puts on a friendly demeanor in person, but is truly unreliable and untrustworthy. He essentially pushed me out, and I never found out his reasoning, working together with the difficult resident in the neighboring unit whose constant noise was unbearable around the clock. Then, when I came back two days after moving to drop off my keys, he walked me through the Anit and I noticed burn marks on the carpet that definitely weren't there when I left. He withheld my security deposit and made sure I didn't get a positive landlord recommendation. The actual apartments themselves are lovely and the majority of residents are wonderful. but, You've got serious noise disturbances, plus a truly dishonest maintenance staff member and his problematic tenant associate. also, storage is severely limited and lighting is bad - you'll have to rely on lamps throughout. The bathroom plumbing is terrible. The doors are thin hollow-core material, basically paper-thin, the walls are paper-thin too, sound travels freely from all around, and there's really no way to add any soundproofing. Also, utilities for heating, cooling, and cooking electricity are your responsibility.

The janitor is evil, all smiles and good cheer to your face, but a backstabbing snake. He forced me out, I'll never know why, in collusion with the psychopath in the apartment next door, with unbearable noise day and night.

Then, after I moved out, when I went back to return the keys two days later, he took me in to inspect the place and there were burns on the carpet that had never been there before I moved out.

He cheated me out of my security deposit and a good reference from the landlord.

It's a shame because my unit was very nice and MOST of the tenants are very nice.

But major noise problems, and a truly evil janitor and his psychopath tenant friend.

Plus, almost zero closet space and no lights - you'll need lamps.

Awful drains in the bathroom. Hollow core doors, like cardboard, thin walls, noise from every direction, no hope of trying to soundproof in any way. Oh, and you pay your own heating and cooling and cooking electricity bills.
