This place has rats. mgmt doesn't care about how tenants live. Maintenance never answers the phone for emergencies. Maintenance is rude and incompetent. The maintenance team here doesn't know much about fixing things properly. If you're looking for an Anit where someone puts a Band-Aid on a problem then this is the place for you. This building has rats, roaches, neighbors who blast music all night long. The hallways are dirty and smelly. The neighborhood is becoming increasingly dangerous. The building manager lies and tells you that she will do something and it never gets done. but, they make sure to collect that rent money.

Just because people are nice, doesnt mean they do their job. the majority of the staff are pretty Fffable, but it takes entirely too long for work orders and requests to be fulfilled. It took me 3 weeks just to get a maintenence worker in my unit, after putting in several work orders, and now they tell me they have to wait for a painter to come on site just to do some touch up painting. Ridiculous. i can't wait to move out next year.

This place is absolutely horrible!!!!!! No AC, mold in your room, people smoke weed in the parking space! Rats will visit your Auite every night! Roaches are everywhere, when u open the drawer in the kitchen, or when u are cooking, or when u open the closet, u can see them! We catched 10 more rats from our apt and others still exist!!! The mgmt team is a joke, they don't even care! I complained those issues for over 2 years, and they send some "legit" pestcontrol people, then rats, roaches, bugs are still there and even more!!! This place is a nightmare for my family! The landlord only cares about the rent, and that's it! don't rent this place! Keep away from this area!

5/11/2017 Granville Court Apartments In march, I moved into Granville court Aad which is a garden Aad. The first couple of nights of living here I saw 4 bedbugs I alerted the office they set up an appointment for two treatments the next following week fine. I then saw one roach which was a small one so I'm guessing it's a big one somewhere around here it just haven't shown up. The place is an old Btructure I found this Btructure on Zillow the original Aad DB that I was about to live in mysteriously was "rented" after I paid the application fee $40 and hold fee $100 along with a deposit of $980 I should have seen that as a red flag but ignored it. Since day one of moving in here I have been disturbed by the people upstairs. I have been receiving strange stares like I am not wanted here. I have complained to the office about the people upstairs they called and it's been the non stop I have tried to knock on their door which I should have not because I don't know what these people capable of doing. So almost every day it's been ongoing the constant intentional stomping the loud noises the rattling of my back door. The constant bothering of the water while I'm in the shower someone is turning the water on and off like and it seems like they are listening to me I hear an object slides across the floor like a glass. Every area of the Aad I'm in, I am hearing intentional stomps. It starts early in the morning and through the whole day like clockwork on my off days because I don't have a set schedule. But I usually make it home in the evenings around 7-9pm and it's nonstop so once again I go to the office and the last time I went there to complain it was a mediation set up the people never showed up only one showed up with was an hour late so to me that was disrespectful then I was told I should reach out to make peace with and get to know them so forget my complaints that which they are disturbing me then. I have called the police on them which was also a joke cause the police act like it was funny and a nosy male person across the hall claim they do the same thing to him but he lied because he doesn't live under them like I do. But I was made sure that these people are "international students" twice from the male across the hall and from the office. So that means to me that because they are students they get a pass? I feel like I being watched and violated all at once because the constant harassment and taunting of these people disturbing me. The stamps literally scare me at night because I'm thinking that they are coming through the ceiling. My lack of sleep affect my work and if I can't do my work I can't get paid. The maturity level of these people have been shown to me and I'm trying really hard to avoid confrontation because I don't know what they are capable of doing if I approach them. They have taken my name label of my mail box several times and I'm tired of going to the office and nothing is being done about it. You've got 4 or 5 males that stay in the one or two bedroom Aad for me so I understand that it's a lot of movement but this movement is more than stomping the slamming of the doors the taps on the windows and rattling of my back door since it's not a peephole so I'm afraid to open my back door. I have accepted the Btructure being old and thin walls but if these people are constantly being told to be mindful of other people then they are disturbing the Btructure which violates the lease. I have started sleeping with a hammer and a knife because I no longer feel safe in here. I thought I can really hold out and try to make it through the year but I can't and I need to get out this Btructure

Okay where do I start, we have BED BUGS infested in this Blace !, Roaches, mold growing on bathroom walls, poor heating, no AC, horrible paint job, extremely high parking rates, rent isn't reasonable ,maintenance guys can barely can speak English and they are unprofessional. If you want to rent here DONT ! Avoid all the drama we dealt with for nearly two yrs. The LLC people are slum lords, if I can give 0 stars I would. The Landry room sucks half the dryers are broken lol

It's getting ------ and scary! I always felt safe here until within the last year. They let a few drug dealers move in which attracts and bring in shady people and wannabe thugs to the premises who hangs out and block entry ways and parking spots! Also the laundry room is being used as a gang meeting/marijuana smoke session at times. You know what the scary part is? The Granville Courts mgmt knows of this and don't care. The young woman (---------) who currently works in the leasing office is even friends with some of these thugs. This is a major letdown after being here since '09. I'm not sure what happened to ---- but she was nice, legit, like-able,and I started to see vacant apartments fill up when she was here. They have totally downgraded the property mgmt since her departure. Also the maintenance guys and mgmt have become INTRUSIVE at times! They just barge into your Aad anytime they want and always find a reason too. They always need to fix something even if you never called up to do so and ask them to come back some other time. This is disruptive for me giving that I work overnight and sleep during the day. don't MOVE HERE!! I will be breaking my lease soon. This place is done!

Seriously !!! don't think of moving over considering the ff complaints. It takes weeks before your job repair order gets fixed. The heaters are not working, it takes the local housing authority to inspect it before the leasing office attends to it. Bring your own portable heaters!! The refrigerators are way too old. The garbage cart were if not beside your bedroom that stinks during summer, they're everywhere close to your living room. The hardwood floors are so squeaky that it bothers your downtime mode. You can hear couples arguing or their visitors stomp their feet . The neighbors?! You can see kids smoking pot along the parking area, majority of the neighbors are Africans whom you can hear above or below you yelling and a major nuisance. CH Ventures should seriously consider installing security cameras!! Generally its an old building with old amenities like old laundry machines and always breaks down. And mind you they don't allow pets but all garbage carts are filled with trash and it takes time before the trucks collect them. The property company is quick in collecting rent and giving out 5 day notices at the expense of all living inconveniences and discomforts. Think twice, you may have a nice showroom but later on you'll be complaining the same things all over again !!!

I recently moved back home. Its a nice Ppot.I had a leak there and cristina was quick about fixing it. They didnt fix it correctly the first time so they had to come back. The maintenance staff are nice. If i move back to Chicago i would move back there if she is working still.
