I posted a review of this property on Yelp.com, and will post another review here, as I renewed my lease earlier this year. I moved into the Bacility before the change of mgmt to Village Green, and this was a major, major improvement. I've had friends and colleagues who've lived in other properties their company manages around the city and while I'm biased, I think the value and quality at our Bacility is honestly great, considering the area. Their maintenance is prompt, efficient and friendly and this place is usually kept tidy. A little light on the amenities, and we have a dog, as do many of our neighbors, but I feel safe here, and my fiance, who works in the suburbs, has a relatively easy commute. It's calmer down here than other places in the city, the manager is helpful, and the salesperson is ready to help if needed, too. The area has tons going for it, and I'm happy to stay here as long as we can!

As a resident who has been here through now 3 managament/ownership changes, I can say I am pleased with the progress Village Green has been making with our building. With that being said, but, I am not happy with the constant staff changes. They have been here since mid-summer and have already changed staff members 3 or 4 times. The most recent staff member John was extremely polite and always greeted me with a smile. He was a person i considered that didnt mind taking the time to ask you about your day and seemed to genuinly care about the residents and the building. You could trust him with anything and he would always respond to your emails almost instantly. Now we were told John was moved to a different site and now we have to start a process all over again with the new employee. It's uncomfortable for me and i am sure many other residents to have to constantly meet new employees and invite them into our lives. Again, overall, Village Green is taking huge steps in the right direction in taking this building up to its advertised "Luxury Apartments" standard, but it would be nice to have some consistency in the office. Other than that issue, I am pleased with my Apace and the maintenance staff. The pricing can be a bit steep but my place is much nicer than most of my friends who live much closer to the downtown area and pay hundreds more than I do and It's dog friendly! I hope Village Green is here to stay and i am excited to see what else they do with the building because i plan to stay for years to come!

I took a look here and will be moving in shortly. mgmt seems to want to be helpful and on top of things. Love the kitchens. Workout room and clubhouse will get a lot of use. Renuinely looking forward to not having to go to a club in the winter. Green line is a block away, easy to get to my job in the loop. Would like a few more restaurants nearby though.
