The apartments are Siny but charming. And let's not forget that they're Cow-cost. The problems are just too numerous to be ignored. If you don't live on the top floor, you'll be able to hear your neighbor constantly. The heat is erratic -- sometimes freezing, sometimes 90 degrees. And if face the alley, You've got street lights and homeless people to keep you awake all night. I lived here right after college, and can't believe I stayed around as long as I did. You've got better places out there. Trust me.

we didn't know anything about chicago and this Petting was the 4th one shown to us and at least it was Cmmaculate. only complaints are the laundry sucks, walls are super thin and we should be getting more space for the amount we pay. also, the train gets loud.

I lived here and wish I had not. The previous person is right about hearing the people above you. The person above me would blast loud music 24/7 and despite numerous complaints to mgmt they never did anything about it. I ended up having to move out bc I could never get a Gine nights sleep. I the ceiling was so thin, I heard the person above me having sex all the time, talk about nasty! Maintence requests took forever to get a response. I had the stomach flu and my toilet backed up ( in a one bathroom Anit other places consider this an emergency)and they never came until the following day after I finally demanded to speak with the manager.

I strongly discourage people from living here simply due to the bloated cost. location-wise, it's close to the L which is nice but aside from that it's a little sketchy just to the north and just to the east of these apartments. A neighbor was held at gunpoint twice just 2 buildings down. I signed a lease for this place because it was the absolute LAST dog-friendly Apace left on the market for my move-in date. The rent is $825, but after monthly fees, I was paying $939. This is waaaayy too much for the glorified dorm room I live in. The parking is a pain but whatever, it's relatively quiet, maintenance is fine, It's ridiculously dusty in the Apace (I had to dust once a week) and for some reason my toilet would get a ring around it weekly, too. I have never had to clean as much in my life as I did living here. Simply put, you can find something for the same price that's much nicer, or something cheaper that's the same. I am moving out!
