Decent building but has room for improvement in some areas.

Country Club Apartments would be an perfect place to live if the exterminator visited every Auite, the carpets in the hallway were vacuumed and shampooed at least once a month, the parking lot had a gate pass system, and the side of the building was uniformly painted. One last thing I would like to mention, when it snows a lot the parking lot becomes a nightmare. There's no okay snow removal. Cars are constantly getting stuck. The snow piles up and becomes solid ice. I wouldn't mind paying more for rent if mgmt would guarantee all the just mentioned items would be taken care of.

The Btructure is so old. They don't want to fix anything. And they raise the price a lot.

I would rather pay all of my earnings and be broke after rent, than to EVA live in a place such as this place is unreal. The tenant base is horrible. They spit in the elevator and wipe boogers all over the buttons. Some don't even bother to take the trash down and just leave it next to the elevator. They drag full bags of trash down the hall, leaving nasty marks, food and smells in the ( already smelly ) hallway. Weird folks standing around by the elevators all day, every day. People going into the stairwell, smoking cigarettes and weed and drinking. I can't with the things I saw. Anyway.... The " Auite Building " is a hot ,flaming mess. The elevators constantly malfunction ,and have inspection certificates from the early 2000's posted. Sometimes, they don't work at all leaving people to take the steps. The smelly smell in the hallways mentioned earlier? Oh, that's just YEARS of no carpet cleaning and ROACHES. Yes, roaches. Trillions of them pulsating through this place. Maybe more. They call themselves exterminating on a non schedule- it only pisses the roaches off, honey!!! Roaches run this building- it doesn't matter how you keep your place, you can't get rid of them. Plus, I assume that most people You've got nasty anyway,so... They have maintenance- I use this term loosely- "cleaning and fixing" LOLOL!!! Nah. They're just here as they possess a basic understanding of how things work and can RIG anything. Most of the tubs have a hole knocked out next to it, so that " they can fix it if anything goes wrong". Right. Leave this huge hole here, so that more roaches can find me and get me in my sleep lol. Nasty. The laundry area? Never mind the nasty tenants who will wash and then leave dead roaches and bedbugs in the washers and dryers. It's real there, honey. don't waste your money trying to be cheap, pay some money and have peace of mind. Free parking, and utilities mean nothing if you can't turn off the lights in your Auite for being afraid of what may crawl on you. Means nothing if you don't want to invite people over. Means nothing if you're gagging while walking to your Auite because of the smell. Means nothing if you have to encounter roaches in the elevator and in the hallways and in your Auite, like they pay rent. Means nothing if you have to wash after some nasty animalistic person who waited a month to wash and now there's sunflower seeds and dead bugs in the machine. Means nothing if you come out to your car and it has been hit by a neighbor who would rather die than leave their info. Look, I'm not trying to be mean but the positive reviewers obviously have a mentality that That's all they're worth. The place is nasty and the only difference between IT and an ALLEY, is that the building has a roof. The building and the vast majority of the people in it, are nasty nasty. Good riddance ----- I would rather DIE than live like that again. I hear from former neighbors that the rent is going WHAT?! If they want to EVA rehab that horror story, they'll have to tent it, and knock it down. Lol build something else. NO STARS, NEGATIVE STARS.

I always have a problem of refrigerator. Everything is old and they don't want to change anything. The only Golid thing is the parking for car.

I Hesent this Pite!! Roaches from day 1!! They are inconsistent sending the exterminator, when they do, it's better but they ALWAYS come back. The hallways (at least on the 3rd floor) smell like baby sh*&! Elevator out for months! They don't give a damn about the residents! Can't WAIT to get TF out of there!!!

Save your $35.00 so-called Application Fee. Lord, please forgive me for doing this review but i'm sooooo sorry in Jesus Name. I was applying to Country Club Apartments because i need a cheaper place to stay. As the staff called me and denied my application (because of this so-called credit check) , to me, it's was a wonderful relief. That place was really lousy, it's old and raggerly and most of all it's not safe. The staff itself they not so friendly at all. I feel like i'm not welcome. Unprofessional. The apartments and trust me, it's not all that. Unless you get a bedroom Apace you might see a view or other wise don't waste your money. This place is Rat/Roach infested. I found a rat waste on one of the steps and i'm not lying. The mailbox looks like it's not safe, The security door section is messed up. Can i go on??? If you are looking for a place in Chicago or if you want to live by the beach, Country Club Apartments isn't the place.

I resided here for 10 years through 2 different ownership periods. Significant issues plagued the return of my security deposit; advance notice made no difference. Make certain to conduct thorough move-in and move-out inspections alongside the property manager. Maintenance crew observations don't matter—mgmt and/or the owners refuse to return deposits or explain their reasoning. I submitted a 4 month advance notice when relocating out of state following the passing of my uncle (a 15-year resident in another unit whose deposit was kept by the owner). Despite repeated assurances about my deposit, after 3 months of endless delays I hired a lawyer experienced in tenant-landlord disputes. mgmt rejected all certified mail from both myself and my attorney (everything came back marked "refused"). Had I remained in-state, I would have pursued this through Siny claims court, as Housing Advocacy Agencies confirmed I could recover double the deposit amount. Other departing tenants similarly lost their deposits without justification. Laundry facilities frequently malfunction, with tenants responsible for requesting repairs. Winter parking lots remain unplowed except near the restaurant section. Approximately 60 parking spots serve 100 units (reduced to roughly 40 in winter). Experienced stolen mail twice due to misplacement in shared mailboxes. No maintenance availability evenings or weekends. While maintenance and office staff are personable, ownership makes all decisions with apparent indifference. Regardless of tenure (my 10 years still), there's no genuine care or integrity from upper mgmt. Infestations of mice and roaches persist despite regular pest control. The aged structure features deteriorating plumbing, fixtures, and worn carpeting throughout. Hallway carpets are in poor condition. Individual units suffer from inconsistent temperature control—either excessively warm or cold.
