The building management is very difficult to work with and unresponsive. Ever since the new management took over, my utility bill has increased by two-fold. I have called the property manager several times but failed to receive any explanation on the meter reading. I am paying $120-$130 in utilities for a 300+ soft studio apartment, this is ridiculous. Also I was charged for “Electric Chiller fee” for AC usage in the winter (Jan-Feb) which I never turned on. There is a lack of transparency on how they charge these utility fees, they told me to call the utility company, since they’re in charge of the utility bills, when I called they said they weren’t able to find an account number of my apartment with them, which is sus. They make it a pain for you to break the lease as well, with 2 month’s notice plus 2 month’s rent penalty which is unheard of. Also, the Kevin (tour guide) will hunt you down if you ever speak about your terrible experience in here and tell you not to speak with anyone about living here. No social events, no amenities and terrible staff (Quentin). I would suggest you moving elsewhere.

Building is falling apart. Alot of repairs that need to be done and haven't. Many amenities still being used to draw in new tenants have been broken or out of service for YEARS. Multiple rungs broken off of the 24th story rooftop for the past year and they finally covered them in caution tape after repeat complaints about safety. Management lies about hidden fees constantly and won't help eradicate them.

Nice place to live. Good location, the apartments have good price/quality for the amount you pay. Amenities are good too. The only thing is pipes are so old, and I prefer to do not drink water from the sink.

I have been disappointed in the upkeep and lack of access to amenities. Some things advertised have never been accessible in the two and a half years that I have been here, yet they continue to market them to the public. A very deceitful business practice. This may speak to the high turnover rate of tenants. Provide what you promise!

This apartment is really great and it is in a great location. The staff are helpful and friendly but some amenity spaces can use some upgrades but are still very enjoyable. The jacuzzi needs to work on the skypark.

Management is impossible to reach when you have an issue - I had to leave 12 messages before they returned a call about my broken stove two weeks later, dog park is filthy, literally covered in excrement and mgmt doesn't care, many more issues.

It has been a nice community here at MDA, the staff is very lovely and they are respectful to the tenets in the building. They are quick to fix any concerns that need maintenance. I do wish that whoever is at the front desk to pick up the phone more often than they do, I would rather answer from a person rather than an automated message system.

I moved in via sublease. The management office helped make the experience seamless, are there to answer questions, and are very responsive. The front desk staff are always helpful and cheerful upon coming home, picking up packages, or asking questions. The maintenance team takes great care of the building and are there to help when needed. The only downside are some of the amenities seem to not have been in use or working for quite some time (especially on the roof), but there are so many others included that it still makes living in the community amazing.

Great amenities , friendly staff and a great location. Occasionally hampered by the fact that it is an old building but that is what also gives you lovely high ceilings, good soundproofing. Front desk staff keep the building secure.
