Over the last year I have lived at the Covington the maintenance has been nearly non existent. There is peeling paint on the ceiling, the hot water has gone out several times and the heat hardly works. All last winter there was very little heat despite the fact that they charge an extra $65 per month for utilities. Maintenance staff came up to my apartment several times at my insistance discussed and theorized about the problem but never fixed the heat. They tried to increase the rent another $80 per month to sign a new lease. I told them they should be giving me a refund for the heat I paid forcand never got. Despite my best efforts in communicating with the managment that the heat would be fixed, they just didn't carecat all about fixing it or anything else. Beware of this place. During the winter my girlfriend didnt want to even stay over since it was so cold. It is also clear that their plan is to lure people in with a lower rent price and then jack it up later with no regard for responsible maintenance. When I was leaving a young couple was also leaving and said they were told that if they didnt gave their stuff out if the apartment by 10AM on the last day of their lease they would be charged an extra $750 for a half months rent. They management didn't even give them until the end of the day to move out Beware of this place. As a side note, being right next to the hospital, you will hear loud ambulance sirens all day.

Lived here for a year. Neighborhood is dirty and crime-ridden. Heard gunshots many times. Lobby was clean but rest of building was either full of spiders or just dirty, most floors smell like old laundry. Beware of Erin if she still works there. She seemed nice at first, but "cut us a deal" only to turn around and jack up the price to put a couple more dollars in her pocket. After a year, my roommate and I couldn't wait to move out and that's when we had the worst experience of all; we were charged more than $300 because we had 3 nail holes in the walls after hanging up pictures. $300 to spackle and paint over THREE nail holes. If that's not bad enough, we had the place cleaned for over $100 by a maid service recommended to us by the management and were charged $75 for not cleaning under the stove top. Not under each burner, they removed the entire stove top and charged us for that not being clean. Overall, wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Good price for the location. Always pleasant and helpful staff. Attentive management that truly takes care of their tenants. Excellent maintenance team. Incredibly clean and well kept building. For the location, pricing couldn't be better.

I haven't been here that long, but so far I really love it. The property is very clean, the staff is friendly, the location is great and it is generally quiet. I have moved into the building as a sublet and I have signed a brand new lease when my sublease was over. The manager was incredibly nice every time I needed her help. The only con I can think of is that there is some noise because of the ambulances across the street. It is growing on me, so I can live with it. I looked up the reviews before moving in and because I read some good and bad reviews I wanted to write down my input. Seriously consider the Covington, it is really nice.

I rent here now and cannot wait for the lease to expire. The worst is the management.. once they get you to sign a lease, they dont care about anything else. I was fooled by the cheaper rent and updated units. But soon realized that this place is horribly ran, and wish I didnt sign a lease. There are hidden fees, and they bring it up last minute and hide the fees until later. Do your research and do not rent here!

This place looks nice when you just see the units. But the management lie, never do any work, dont care about the tenants. They nickle and dine you for everything that comes free at other apts. Then they never do any work you ask of them. I have also seen the main property manager (simona darla) hook up with residents and do as she pleases for people she likes. Not like she does much, but I wish the management changes so the tenants can be happy. Some of the door guys are nice. Besides that, this is a horrible place that pretends to care just to take your money and then screws you over later. In short.. yes the units are nice, but for the money and mis-management.. this is NOT worth it. Just google the management company and also the building name. You will find mixed reviews. The good reviews.. are from people who move in and never deal with management or anything else besides living in their units. The BAD reviews... are from everyone else who are tired of using horible amenities (washing machines that don't work), dealing with management who is not responsive ( Simona Darla), dirty conditions, and many other issues you don't expect from a building that claims to be upscale in this area. I wish I had known all this before moving in. I wouldn't have!!

Love the appliances but the maintenance is not that great....paint splattered all over the floors and the THICK layers of paint start to peel and crack. Also, I did have a cockroach problem in which they have someone come in once a month to spray and after they did it was fine although they made me wait a few days with the unwanted roomates before they were scheduled to come in. Also, after my lease they raised the rent $150 which is a bit extreme. You also have to play a flat rate for heat, which tends to "break" a lot!! If the location is convenient and you are only looking for a place for one year then it is ok but if you are looking for someplace long term and want to avoid crazy rent increases then I would look elsewhere.

I've lived here 2 years and never had any major issues! Great place to live! Great maintenance service, responsive management and helpfull 24 hours doorman!I'm relocating with my job in 2 months and I was checking online reviews for other communities, so I thought it will be fair to share my experience at The Covington.
