False application process. Met all the requirements (income, credit score) of the application but was denied & not refunded. Seems like an application cash grab at best and racism towards me as a minority at worse.

The application process is terrible, don’t believe the requirement thresholds (credit score/income) to apply, they’re false and deny according to personal judgement rather than if you meet requirements.

2 months after moving in the ceiling started leaking. It leaked during heavy rains and during melting of snow. Maintenance constantly said they fixed the issue, but they didn’t. I also had problems with roaches coming through the pipes.

I am very pleased with everything at 430 W Diversey since I moved in. The building manager, Mace' Tom a, is very kind and helpful, making sure each resident is comfortable and their needs taken care of. Whenever an issue arose, he quickly took care of it. It is really lovely living so close to Lincoln Park and Lake Mchigan. In fact, I'm now less than half a block away. The park itself adds to the peaceful, quiet feeling on the neighborhood. The neighborhood feels safe as well with plenty of families, couples, and older folks enjoying strolls along the tree-lined streets. Besides the park, my new apartment is close to all the restaurants and shops of Lincoln Park. Other conveniences include grocery stores, movie theaters, and plenty of public transportation. It is very easy to get around Chicago from here and of course, to have guests visit! I enjoy living in a vintage apartment building. This classic Chicago walkup has a lot of character. The facilities are all top of the line including the on-site laundry room. The common areas are always spotless due to Marcel's attention. Every resident in the building is kind and courteous. The entire move-in experience was easy thanks to Planned Property Management and Marcel!
