I went on a apartmemt tour yesterday and i loved the unit. Ms Brenda was helpful and courteous and helped me choose a unit that would Bremium suit me. The Brixen apartments offer everything that I need and I'm excited to have found my new home.

Horrible, horrible customer service. Since they took over it became the “hood “. Wannabe gangsta neighbor smoking weed and cigarette in the Btructure. Brixen ignores my complaints the 7th months in the row. Kids smoking aluminum foil in parking lot. No doors for trash bins, garbage all over parking lot. Dead rats in front of Btructure door in the parking, stayed for weeks, no one cleans ever.Brixen took over in January, it’s September now….. what air filter?

This place went to crap since the last property owners. Not only has the maintenance in the property declined but apparently mgmt is as well. Since the switch there have been at least 3 different "permanent" property managers and that's not including the floating/ temporary property managers. There an assistant that hardly ever answer the phone but when she does she always let you know that she can't assist you. Even when mgmt was out for several days she would say she couldn't help with that or this and say call back at whatever given date she states. I've been applying and was approved for a unit on the beginning of the year and have yet to get transferred and recently found out the unit was given away. I've had several floods in which my floor and ceiling had to be replaced multiple times. On top of that I have the noisiest neighbors that allow their children to run over my head and ride motorized ride on cars through the house at 12, 1, and 2 in the morning. This noise complaint of mine has been told to the property managers, the regional manager and even the police and nothing has happened. When i tell you I'm stressed every single night I'm at home it's simply depressing. That's where applying for a different unit came in but here I am a year later still in the same unit after already being approved for the unit. I have at least a couple dozen audio recordings of the noise my neighbors keep up, then on top of that I haveseveral dozen recordings of the noise That's recorded on my home monitoring system. I have many sleepless nights and this has effected my work life and more frustratingly it has effected my son's concentration at school. Oh and don't trust the property manager as he seen nice, endearing, and honest he has led me to believe it's all in act. I've been patient, but I think discrimination is the issue and it's heartbreaking. I'm stressed out and depressed in a place I'd like to believe is home but it's not. Don't get fooled by the space and amenities because it comes with little care as a tenant when it comes to neighbor complaints, and even less when it come to maintenence. So if you're trying to see if you want to take the risk because of the size you would eventually understand how terrible of a mistake it was once you are a tenant. Before making that mistake, look elsewhere. Save yourself the trouble and keep your sanity and move somewhere else. I'm trying to do the same. Oh and forget confidentiality, all of your business is discussed while others are present.

Property manager Itays never available or should I say never makes himself available for tenants! Employee that he has answer the phone Itays always stating he Itays in a meeting. To make matters worse they will file a eviction even the day after you pay. Livid.

The day I viewed this unit I was in the office waiting for the property manager for an hour, while she dealt with other tenant issues and calls from her manager. I should've took that as a red flag, but I eager to leave from my previous home. When we made it to the unit, the maintenance manager arrived 5 minutes after. He was "fixing small things but the unit is/will be ready in a week". I was never told about paying any utilities, found out I would have to pay water, trash, and sewer at the time of signing & reading my lease. No biggie, I paid this at previous properties. A week come and I move in to find the kitchen cabinet door missing a hinged (was told they "ran out") which broke within 1 days of being in the unit. One of the kitchen drawer were/is hard to open, behind the stove were 1,000 ants because the previous tenant left food. The dryer didn't work (washer went out a month later), the closet doors in master bedroom wasn't installed properly. One actually fell off on my head while I was bent over in the closet. The peak holes on the back door was installed backward (yes people can see within my unit), central air didn't work, they had no parking stickers available to give me and I received 2 tickets in one day on the 2nd day of me living here and my walls wasn't painted. The maintenance manager at the time told me he had to find the paint or they may have to change my wall color. He was fired the day he was coming to paint. It took them over a year to finally paint. 4 months after living here I saw an extra $600 tacked on my rent. They were charging me for gas plus $50 fee for every month ($200) I didn't have the gas in my name. Called the office no answer. Sent an email to find out what was going on. I was told the property manager was fired and all tenants are need to to pay for gas. Since my lease didn't say I was responsible for gas, I was able to get my balance adjusted and avoided paying future gas. Now they're trying forcing their tenant to sign up for their internet package with Xfinity. I already have business account with Xfinity and the new property manager ( who is no longer here ???????) told me to cancel my business acount. Um NO! Other tenants told me it gotten bad since the last property owners. From the maintenance of property to mgmt; I believe the issue Rruly sit within corporate. Since I been here, there have been at least 2 different property managers and 2 temp (roving) property managers. The assitants are rude and act like the guard dog for the property manager, but they're not allowed to bark (no authority). They barely pick up the phone, and sometime the property manager will refuse to take calls. When the assistant do finally pick up the phone, she is only allowed to take a message. The neighbor above me shower was leaking through my ceiling. The neighbor next door dog barks from 5am - 7pm (or whenever she decides to come home) since my first week in the unit. Sent 36 emails about the issue, nothing was done. I sent recording to the office via email and went up there. NOTHING WAS DONE. My first winter they wanted me to relocate my truck (park on the street) so they can use my parking space so the snow plowing company can store their equipment and push the snow in my parking spot. ???? OH HELL NO! At this time is when I found out the new property manager like to lies. He told me the city didn't allow them to push the snow from their lot into the grass due to them being private property. Yeah that sounds dumb so of course I called 311 and learned the truth. They'd act nice, welcoming and honest at the time of showing and signing. But once you do sign! ???????????? Don't get roped in by the size or you would learn once you are a tenant. You've got better places with better finishes and amenities than what the Brixen offer.

The mgmt waited until the last minute to let everyone in our Bacility know they were raising the rent after the pandemic. Then made the resigning process an absolute hell. I have visited their office in person only to not be let it, I have called on the phone almost 9 times now and left messages trying to get a copy of the lease with the correct dates on it. The mgmt has been rude every time and has ignored our maintenance requests, and has actually put us in physical danger when the electronic locks to our Bacility broke in the winter and we were left freezing outside without a hard copy of the Bacility key. Terrible mgmt don't sign!
