I spent 3 years as a rental tenant in this building, apt 609. I wanted to let you know: It is haunted. A young dark haired fellow, about 5'10", 155 pounds, caucasian, well dressed. "Falls" down from the rafters into the dining area of the unit. You will hear him hit. He also walks outside (6th floor) the windows. He doesn't cotton to bad people, he grabbed a "friend" of mine and slammed him against the shower wall. When you are down and lonely, hurting, he will want to get into bed with you. You will feel him move covers and his weight on the bed, no matter where you have the bed. To good people he is protection. To bad people he is a threat. Some of the noise you hear in and around the unit will be his.

Let's just say the walls are very thin.
You'll hear your neighbors, and they'll hear you!
...Management was not on the ball, though very nice, and it got to be frustrating.
The neighborhood is a little wild and loud on the weekend, esp. on south side of building, with all the hooters-frequenters getting into fistfights and all ...!

i found the building quite isolated -- not the best community to Live in yet---
good luck.
WITH THE PAPER THIN WALLS AND POOR CONSTRUCTION, THE NOISE LEVELS IN THE BUILDING ARE TOO MUCH. WHETHER IT IS 1-4 AM AND THE ONLY THING YOU HEAR ARE THE STREET HUSLERS BEGGING FOR MONEY OR THE LOUD "SOUND BAR" AROUND THE CORNER THAT BRINGS IN PILES OF SUBURBAN YO BOYS. IF THE BUILDING HAD BETTER INSULATION MAYBE IT WOULD GET A HIGHER RATING, BUT ASK ANYONE THAT LIVES OR LIVED IN THE BUILDING AND THE FACTS ARE IT'S SIMPLY TOO NOISEY!

Have you ever heard of such a thing. I thought it was something people only joked about. Almost a year ago, I woke up in the middle of the night and found 10 redish/brown bugs in my bed! The building manager claimed that they were going to get rid of them, but they kept coming back. These bugs come out at night and suck the blood of any warm-blooded mammal. No joke! And this building has them! I am trying to break my lease now and get some sort of compensation for the 12 months I have put up with this problem!

This place gets worse service-wise year after year. Day manager is either MIA or shut in an office with the blinds closed. The apartments have no soundproofing at all. We just use the space as an office so we miss the noise from clubs but in the last two to three months new neighbors have moved in who play their music loud enough so that we recognize the CD immediately and can sing along. Management does nothing except encourage us to call the police. Soundproofing was promised but nothing ever happened. We've decide to buy a place and will be leaving so we're thrilled!
