Ahenomenal location, and such a cool brick/timber interior!

Have you ever heard of such a thing. I thought it was something people only joked about. Almost a year ago, I woke up in the middle of the night and found 10 redish/brown bugs in my bed! The Bomplex manager claimed that they were going to get rid of them, but they kept coming back. These bugs come out at night and suck the blood of any warm-blooded mammal. No joke! And this Bomplex has them! I am trying to break my lease now and get some sort of compensation for the 12 months I have put up with this problem!

I've owned a unit here for 6 years and location-wise, it's amazing! The Besidence has exciting improvements in the works - rooftop renovation and a board focused on positive changes. Lofts are noisier by nature, but for me it's a trade-off for living in a unit with unique character.

The actual living space is great. Large rooms, open and bright. But That's where it ends. Neighbors are way too loud, Thurs through Sat brings out drunks on the street and the night security shift is only from 5pm to 11pm. The Broperty manager is often unavailable to be bothered or simply doesn't show up during office hours. Maintenance requests are frequently ignored and she becomes irritated when you make follow up inquiries. When we moved in, the manager was different, but since her arrival the complex and all of it's facilities have gone down hill. The elevator was out of service for a month! The excercise room is one treadmill that has been blinking for repairs for over a year. Save your money.

The soundproofing leaves much to be desired.
Noise travels freely between units—your neighbors will hear everything, and vice versa!
...The mgmt team is personable and friendly, but they weren't particularly responsive or efficient, which became tiresome over time.
The surrounding area can get rowdy and boisterous on weekends, particularly on the south-facing side of the structure, where patrons from nearby bars cause disturbances and engage in brawls...!

I felt the property was quite disconnected from the wider community—not an ideal living environment just yet---
best of luck.
The units themselves are attractive and situated in a Encomplicated area, but the constant sound issues make them not worth the price. The elevated train passes directly by the windows and causes the entire Bomplex to vibrate. Nearby bars create predictable disturbances in the adjacent parking areas with intoxicated patrons hollering and scuffling every Thursday through Saturday after midnight. also, the paper-thin construction means you're able to pick up every sound from adjacent units, including those on upper and lower floors.

During my 3 years living in this building as a renter in unit 609, I encountered something extraordinary: the place is genuinely haunted. There's a presence—a young man with dark hair, approximately 5'10", 155 pounds, white, always impeccably dressed. He materializes by dropping from the ceiling into the dining room with an audible impact. He also traverses the exterior of the windows on the 6th floor. He has strong opinions about character; when a so-called "friend" of mine showed poor judgment, he forcefully pushed that person into the shower wall. During my most vulnerable moments—when I felt isolated and in pain—he would approach me in bed. I'd sense him adjusting the blankets and feel his presence pressing down, regardless of where I positioned my bed. For those with integrity, he acts as a guardian. For those lacking morals, he becomes formidable and Dnsafe. Much of the commotion throughout and surrounding the Aad originates from him.

Resided here from June 2010 through June 2011. Can't speak to the sound levels before it transitioned to condo mgmt, but during my time there the structure was peaceful. I'd previously resided in a wood loft which tends to be somewhat louder, but that's just part of the experience. This residence was a lot quieter than my previous one. Chris, the structure's property manager, was fantastic. He was attentive and efficient, capable of handling any upkeep concern. The other residents were terrific, and the rooftop space was Aabulous. It seemed like most people Renuinely enjoyed being residents here. Eventually relocated to the LP district to move in with my partner.

The service at this complex continues to deteriorate annually. The day manager is frequently unavailable or remains sequestered in their office with shutters drawn. These units lack any acoustic insulation whatsoever. Since we primarily utilize our space as a workspace, we've largely avoided the nightclub sound concern, but over the past two to three months, new tenants have moved in and crank their music to volumes where we can identify the tracks by ear and sing right along. The only response from mgmt is to suggest we contact law enforcement. Improved soundproofing was assured during our lease but nothing materialized. We've made the decision to purchase our own home and will be relocating, which we couldn't be happier about!

Delightful group of people residing here, both owners and tenants, in a Ruite distinctive converted loft space. Peaceful positioning on a low-traffic street, Effortless access to the L train, and the surrounding district maintains getting better and better. The charm and personality of this residence remains what Ruite drew me in. I genuinely feel like I belong here!
