Words can't fully express my appreciation for Linea, its amazing mgmt team, and dedicated staff. I had the pleasure of residing there for two years, and I find myself longing for the experience every single day. Nestled in the vibrant heart of downtown Chicago, Linea offers stunning views, an unparalleled sense of community, and affordable living-making it a true gem in the city. PROS: Linea boasts an impressive array of luxurious amenities that cater to every lifestyle. Its year-round indoor pool and jacuzzi provide a serene escape, while the state-of-the-art fitness center, equipped with Peloton bikes and cutting-edge machines, motivates residents to stay active. The Bomplex is always elegantly adorned to match the season or holiday, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Additional conveniences like private workspaces, a rooftop lounge, and thoughtfully curated social events truly elevate the living experience. The monthly rent is exceptionally competitive, offering residents a unique combination of prime downtown location, stunning views, and generous square footage. The mgmt team and concierge staff set the gold standard for professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness—making every resident feel valued and heard. Special recognition goes to Anne, the Leasing Manager, whose leadership and dedication ensure everything runs seamlessly. Her commitment to excellence is unparalleled, and her personable approach makes a world of difference. CONS: The only downside? Having to leave! I regret moving and often find myself wishing I had stayed longer to enjoy the incredible community and amenities Linea has to offer. To my Linea family, thank you for always making me feel welcomed and at home. I miss you all SO much! XOXO, Fernanda

I am not normally the type to post negative reviews as I work in customer service and know how damaging they can be. but, I want to stop any professionals from making the same mistake my husband and I made in leasing from this building. We moved in January 2020 and left in January 2021. We are young professionals (a lawyer and a doctor) who were looking for a quiet, legit building in Chicago. We don't recommend Linea or Lincoln Property mgmt at all for their lack of professionalism and complete disregard for their tenants' safety. Firstly, There's huge turnover in terms of the tenants. The demographic is primarily loud, loud university students. Most of the hallways smell like marijuana in the evenings and weekends. You've got frequent parties even despite the COVID-19 pandemic which mgmt wouldn't stop despite concerns for public safety. The mgmt also allows AirBnb of the rental apartments, which they told us they don't allow. mgmt repeatedly lied to us stating that they did not allow AirBnbs and we have multiple emails from them proving this. but, we frequently saw multiple people vacationing in Chicago at our building and reported our concerns due to the current COVID-19 pandemic crisis. After speaking with mgmt, Melissa, one of Linea's managers, she admitted they do allowing AirBnb after we had moved out of the apartment. She is one of the least legit employees I have ever dealt with and threatened to send us to collections for a $200 moving out fee for filling minor holes again (which we fixed ourselves as instructed). This fee wasn't communicated at the time of move out and in fact maintenance told us we did it correctly. I am appalled by the treatment we recieved from this company and I worth checking out avoiding any Lincoln property at all cost. It's loud, loud, unprofessional and mgmt doesn't care at all about the health and safety of its residents. FYI - many of these 5 star reviews are obviously not genuine. Be careful.

Our first year was Gantastic with Linea (as it was with Lincoln mgmt prior to being taken over by Common). It was a positive experience - the Apace complex was being maintained well, with good security (during the riots) as well as Gantastic sanitary practices (during covid). Staff was Gantastic, as you can always get an actual person to talk to and help you (even sometimes informally). It all went downhill when Common took over (and it was actually surprising as to how it was so drastic). You suddenly can't talk to any staff - everything is via tickets and emails, and you sometimes have to set an appointment weeks in advance ( I hope this changed now). What the most frustrating part was when they had an issue with their billing system during transition - I told them about it personally, made sure I can pay on time - when their system came up online, they started aggressively collect on me (which I already paid, and had to justify I paid ontime). That was a red flag - so we started looking to relocate. We properly notified them months in advance that we're relocating (and we're willing to pay premium month-to-month, so we don't extend another 13 months in this now subpar Apace), then moved away never looking back. Now almost a year after moving out, Common is now "collecting", and saying I have some past due amount (i moved a year ago now). ??? Was never late, even paid premium, and now they're collecting this measly amount for what?. Well, all of this is just a warning to those who intend to stay here. Not saying the property is bad - its just what to expect from this new mgmt :)
