Please do not rent from the Apartment they are discriminate Cubans who do not want black people to rent. they made it hard for black to rent in their building. They tell black people we not renting, but when a Cuban family comes they let them rent. The whole set up at Layfette Apartment is only for the Cubans and the Amenities sucks, you can't go to the day room at the 78th street complex. that for the staff. the computer room computer have viruses, and they only have keys to these amenities but the little gym they have on the other side where the office is they got access to everything and the back playground, Their time does not fit the time of the tenants. We as tenants pay good money to be treated right. and Olga and her staff as turn this place to a holiday inn for them and not a place of comfort for the tenants. The Manger Olga is very uneducated and unlearned about how to treat the tenants she does evil things to the tenants and never returns calls if there a problem she acts like no one told her. The place is infested with rats and the garbage shute is never cleaned and garbage something is packed at the shute. There is trash out the garbage cans sometimes and the side wall is nasty. Olga is the worst landlord there is she needs to be fired and replace. if I had my way I wish every tenant would sue her for discrimination and not doing her job. They take 2-hour lunch break. Most of the time in 78th st complex no one is here to make complaints. And she doesn't care until you have to report her to the state about rats and bugs and other things she like to evict those who know she is a slum Lord.

I regret moving into this PRISON BUILDING. I pay almost $1,000.00 dollars a month to live miserable. Olga is the worst director I ever met. She doesn't care about no one and all she does is stay inside her office and not show her face when there's a problem you need to solve. Olga has moved all her Cuban people into the building and evicted half the black people out. She is a very rude person with little education she doesn't know how to speak to people in a professional way. She always sending her maintenance guys to go peek into people apartment. This place is a nightmare!!! And the building is infested with ROACHES and MICE! They seem not to care about that either. Please don't move in into this building you will regret it later! Is not worth your money. This place is a ---- HOLE!!

I've been living in this community apartment for about 8 years now this place used to be a nice place to live until we got some new management team that was brought in which is the manager (Olga)she is very rude very disrespectful yells and screams at you she come at you as if she's ready to brawl with you. I've been through for five different managers since I've been living here and she's the worst she run this apartment complex as a prison you're not allowed to have guests when your guest enter the building ishe'll stop them in the lobby and question them asking them what unit their going too.. for what apparent reason that she may not like your guest she will tell you they are not allowed to come back to the apartment and if they guest is seen again by her. You will receive a 7 day notice to vacate.. also I've been noticing that she's been kicking a lot of black people out and moving nothing but Cubans and whites in, she uses doing an inspection of your unit as her way of snooping around trying to find anything that is small to kick you out for and also when you go to the office to report something that need to be fixed that is their other way of coming in your home and snooping around and her maintenance guys will go back downstairs and let her know what they see in your unit instead of fixing things which they do a half behind job.. when you go to the office to speak to (Olga) to ask her what is going on or even you're concerned about how things are being ran they make it seems as if you're bothering them and that your the one that's being rude and disrespectful..they make it seems as if you're not supposed to question them or what they're doing wrong in our apartment complex they feels as if we should allow them to do whatever they please and not have nothing to say and once they get irritated of you keep addressing them about any situation or concern they will send you a letter to your door saying that you got to vacate the premises within 7 days for being a destructive tenant.. the dynamic has changed a lot since I've been living here it used to be diverse but now all of a sudden it's just two sets of race that you've been seeing lately that been moving in and to me personally that is not right whatsoever cause for one you are in a mixed community it shouldn't be too different race that'sonly allowed to live here and it was never like that before until she became management..So Beware even the corporate office doesn't care cause when you call to complain that make it seems as if you're just complaining to complain and they would not check up on you to see if anything was solved so Point Blank period They just don't care

This building is a very good building well done everything worked good, good supplies and everything OK except the new staff manager.I have been since the building open 2007 I have never had any problems with any managers. This manager is disrespectful and racist. She doesn't Like black and Haitian people to live in that building. If she doesn't like you she will ask you to move out for no reasons. If you have any problem you want to speak to her she will ask you to make an appointment her name is(Olga) or speak Spanish to his colleagues to told you she wasn't available, if you forced to talk to her she would scream at you and treat you like a nothing. She has no respects for tenants who is living in that building.
