I don’t usually write reviews but the SLS RESIDENCES is absolute WORST building i have ever lived in through out my ENTIRE LIFE. Cars get STOLEN out of the lot almost every other month including my car. The security guards witnessed my car getting stolen and notified me 14 HOURS LATER. This was definitely an inside job everything about this was shady . Not even the management cared their response was “ we have nothing to do with that” . EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. This building does NOT provide safety to the residences. Elevators are ALWAYS DOWN it takes about 15-20+ to arrive to the floor it’s is a joke here Party people 247 music loud all the time , people coming in and out of the hotels and pools drunk all the time disrupting . You can literally see on other sites the reviews are all the same. If you’re an artist , high paid individual or even have a family and looking for luxury & safety you’re better off saving your money and looking somewhere else.

NOTE: this is for the SLS Brickell. There is an SLS Lux two blocks away but this site combines them for some reason. The elevator situation here is atrocious. 15-20 minute waits to go up and down elevators because there are only 3 elevator banks for over 400 units. Knowing this, they still shut down an elevator DURING THE DAY each Wednesday for “service.” Every week they say they do service and we had a day where two elevators broke. It took 1 hour to go up or down. Then there are the walls... razor thin. Make sure your bedroom is against another units bedroom because you will hear their conversations and TV/music. This place is a party building. It’s a ton of young people blasting music, holding parties, and smoking weed. The mail room line is crazy. Sometimes I have to wait 20 minutes to pick up a package. The staff is inept and do as little as possible to help you. They take days sometimes to respond to emails/questions. And even when they do, they put as little effort as possible into the response. Do not move here if you want a quiet place with high service. It claims to be a luxury building but it is not. Everything about the building is cheap.

I have just finished waiting 25+ minutes for my elevator because it was down. Not to mention, the service elevator has been down for a week( the service elevator breaks once a week). I was stuck in my apartment with NO WAY of getting to the lobby. I called the front desk person and explained my situation, his response: " I don't know what you want me to say, just wait bro". Are you serious? I paid way to much money to deal with these issues and be spoken to in that way. What if an emergency were to happen? There would be no way for me to get out of this building. I have reached out to a lawyer and I am currently deciding whether to take legal action against the condominium and the manager's office.( This is not the first time I've been stuck in my apartment with no working elevators, I have made a log that dates a couple months back). Other problems: 1) The mail room is only open Monday- Friday during working hours and Saturday from 10-2pm. Let me ask you this management, I have medication that sometimes arrives on the weekends. I work a 9am-9pm job. How do you expect for me to receive my medication and packages? Overall, I purchased this unit under the pretense that it would be luxurious... SLS LUX needs to start providing the "LUX" and start thinking of its residences. Overall would NOT recommend UNLESS they change their ways. You will pay Brickell prices for a unit, but you will feel like you are in Hialeah with the lack of service. Most of the workers, except for Maria, look and act like they hate their job. Example: Edmundo. Management really needs to step up here. Please help us residents.

The ac breaks almost once a week seriously Sink broke We had to fix Water in ceiling from the tub above Mold in ceiling Grill cost $100 to use They Crashed fist car Crashed a second car Microwave didn't work first 3 months iPad doesn't currently work Beds at 9th floor pool are gross. Bugs in them Curtains constant break Yelled out for mopping my deck No Light fixtures Elevators constantly down Valet takes so long to get car cannot self park Bugs allllllll over Was not move in ready Repcetion doesn't have a key Security does so when security is not there you are screwed unless you want to pay $150 to get into your own apartment Please do not make the same mistake we did

I never write reviews because I don't have time for them but this is too much. I am an owner of a unit. They sold this property as LUXURIOUS, but it's far from it. Main complaints: - Residential office is imposible to get in contact with. They don't help at all. UNLESS they want something from you. ($$) Then they will be easily contactable. - elevators and AC break down maybe once a Week. Not even a joke, I really wish I was joking. - the last management was fired for their terrible job, and the new management has taken over:KW Property management. They honestly have not been an improvement. This is very sad considering the price tag they put on these units. Can't wait to sell! I don't recommend this place to anyone. Be warned.

I am one of the residents in SLS Lux and the services offered by the building management company are TERRIBLE. There is nothing Lux about SLS Lux. The majority of the employees here have the attitude that they are doing us a favor. The attitude of the staff is the worse so far! Do they think that they pay us to live here? I don't even think if we paid 400/month we would get the nasty attitude. The high rent here is not even close to what we get and what we thought we would get for a luxurious building like this. Getting packages here is hell. They don't even offer the possibility of leaving packages for pick up, something offered by way cheaper buildings and less luxurious condos in Brickell. The fees of the amenities and reservation deposits are insane! 100 dollars (nonrefundable) just to use a BBQ and 1250 security deposit (1000 security and 250 cleaning) is absurd. Those 100 do not include cleaning it, just using the BBQ. The elevators are damaged on a fair average pretty much every week. The fact that even something simple as one piece furniture delivery has to be arranged and the service elevator reserved for 3 hours with no weekend delivery is terrible. Why do people reserve a whole elevator for 3 hours just to get a book case? or a sofa? The same time it gets to move a whole apartment for a single piece of furniture…? it's ridiculous! The planets have to be aligned for a furniture delivery to happen here. Forget about it if you work, it only works if you don't work 8-5 pm or during vacation, maybe. I would think that this company probably thought that managing a building of this size and category was simple and the result is shameful, pitiful. It does not seem they are even close to knowing anything about managing even a small building. I'm surprised a complex ended up with this result, being managed by a crappy company. Nobody in their sane mind would buy to rent or even buy to live here if they knew how things really work. I thought about buying here but there is no way in my sane mind I would, unless the management changes their ways. I lived in a way less luxurious buildings and the services offered were heaven to earth different. I am not even sorry to leave this review. I hope this company can learn from all the mistakes they are committing. For companies like this is why major projects like SLS Lux can go into bankruptcy!!! Every time people comment about the management company in the elevator, I just hear complaints. There is nothing positive about living here other than it being a brand new building, cleanliness and location. Hopefully I will warn anybody who asks me how living in SLS Lux really is. I don't have time to leave a review like this online but I'm finding a way to do it. People need to know they will pay thousands and get nothing other than cheap in return. The service is so bad the company doesn't even recognize how bad it is. Every time I hear something about this building in the elevator, people are extremely unhappy. I can't believe the owners are risking their money by renting their properties to people that are this unhappy!!! You'll pay thousands and get an attitude like you're living here for free.
