“I actually love my place here. There are typical city-living problems (noise from Wilshire Blvd, dust, mold if you don't clean up/air out the room, occasional roach, etc) but the neighbors are nice, the manager is nice and always addresses my issues promptly. Parking is a separate fee in an independently owned parking garage. I think the current manager is doing a much better job than the former manager (Elly Nesis) on upkeep. There are cleaning people who come by weekly to keep the lobby, hallways, and entrance area clean. I read the previous reviews and just wanted to balance out their bad reviews with at least one good one. There are tenants who have been living there for 9, 15 or even 20 years, so it's clear that they are happy with the place too.”
— 621 S GRAMERCY PL · Koreatown“DO NOT MOVE IN HERE FOR ANY REASON WHAT SO EVER! The building has MAJOR building code violations, and health code violations. MOLD MOLD MOLD. Very unhealthy place to live. It was made in 1929 and any building made before 1978 has lead paint and pipes in it. Since I have moved in, they have changed management and owners. The management prior to the current management company was ELLY NESIS COMPANY INC. I suggest you stay away from that company at all costs. They were shady as ever, the maintenance was terrible and unprofessional and so was ELLY NESIS COMPANY INC. The new owners SOSU INVESTORS LLC,. ARE NOT ANY BETTER! THE NEW MANAGER/LANDLORD IS TERRIBLE AND THEY DO NOTHING TO FIX ANY PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER. SHADY SHADY SHADY. This place has inconsiderate neighbors with questionable character. IT IS OVER PRICED. THERE IS LITTLE TO NO PARKING. ALL IN ALL ITS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED IN MY LIFE. STAY AWAY. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO LIVE HERE AND BE SUBJECTED TO THIS TYPE OF ENVIRONMENT OR LIVING. Look for a proper, positive, civilized UP TO DATE, UP TO CODE, HEALTHY PLACE TO LIVE. For what you pay here, you can find something much better somewhere else and deal with NOTHING like the stuff you have to deal with here. DON'T MOVE IN. Terrible. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS!”
“This place sucks so badly. Nothing works, the management company rarely picks up and never calls you back.. The owner is a sleaze bag who just tries to get by and lies to you. Utterly useless. go here: -> enter in the apn number and report them to the city http://cris.lacity.org/cris/informationcenter/code/ViolationReport.htm http://www.projectreap.org/About_REAP.html <-- Reap get your repairs done, no rental increases and you only pay half your rent until they fix your issues! DONT STAY HERE OR ANY WHERE WITH ELLY NESIS!!!”
— 621 S GRAMERCY PL · Koreatown“Slum lords. Elevator never worked. Don't live on the 5th floor unless you like 110 degrees apartments in the sumemrtime. Maintenance crew is non existent and manager is rude and insulting. Infested by large roaches. Don't trust anyone over there they will tell you lies to get you to sign the lease and then once you sign all they care about is the rent. If you do decide to punish yourself with an apartment from this hellhole get everything in writing. Oh yeah, no parking, so get prepared to pay parking tickets. They do have a parking lot, but they rather rent it out to the church across the street than use it for their tenants.”
— 621 S GRAMERCY PL · Koreatown“If there were a -100000 I'd click it. I have about 5 other neighbors who want to sue this place. Why do you ask? Simply because it's worse than hell. The water is out every other week. I'm not even kidding you. I am debating on keeping these notices that they have. Your neighbors are mostly chill individuals however there are a few that are just beyond annoying. Fat chicks wearing shoes in the house clopping around. I figure it's because they are so fat they want to lose weight, so they are running around on hardwood floors with their heels on clopping up a storm. Then you have this dysfunctional woman with her little yappy dog named "oliver" and all you hear at odd times of the night is "Oliver OLIVER! no OLIVER NO!" The dog obviously is trying to run from it's -------- owner. The management has changed property manager like I get notices of "water shutting off in building" .. they do this weekly. PLEASE PLEASE heed my words carefully. DO NOT MOVE IN THIS PLACE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES you're better off getting a tent and sleeping in the back of this apt. it'd be free and you never have to feel ------ about actually paying someone to live in it. I am so outta here as soon as I find a new place. It's gotten dramatically worse in the last few months. Email me for more info. If you move in here you must be mentally --------, or didn't see my posting. Love always, Reid”
— 621 S GRAMERCY PL · Koreatown“As of March '08, I became the new manager for Fenway Hall Apartments. I have lived in the building for ten years. Personally I have never had any issues with the maintenance department or the onsite managers. I will acknowledge that there has been some problems with the prior onsite managers and some tenants getting along. I hope to do a better job and create a pleasant living environment. Parking spaces are available for rent.”
— 621 S GRAMERCY PL · Koreatown“Manager is an awful, stuck up jerk. The parking is non existent. Neighbors are rude. Elevator works about 8% of the time. Laundry is efficient Cleaning staff is unapproachable and nowhere to be found when needed. But at least it accept pets.”
— 621 S GRAMERCY PL · Koreatown“Stop and rethinking before you want to move into this residental apartment complex. the manager and the staff that work here are completely unprofessional and unorganized. A minor repair would take weeks or months and even sometimes you have to go thru the Housing Breaus. causing an very unfriendly atphospheres when you paid alot here.”

— 621 S GRAMERCY PL · Koreatown“I have lived here about 2 years. Hopefully moving soon...The residential landlord is absolutely awful. It's very upsetting when you are an ideal tenant and you are disrespected repeatedly by the landlord. I'm not a complainer I have made about 2 requests for repairs since I've lived here. The requests have always been for very simple things that are the responsibility of the property owner. Both times I made the request I was berated and yelled at. This reaction was uncalled for, inappropriate and simply not necessary. I just really don't understand why it's so hard to make simple yet necessary repairs. Basically this place sucks. The apartments are over priced, there are constantly problems with the plumbing and they have a roach problem. The landlord is an absolute A** Hole.”
