“Would put negative stars if possible Management and leasing nothing but liars and thieves leased with them for 18 months since the beginning I knew they were dishonest everyone from the former manager Gilbert ,Daniel and sandy If your looking for a place that don’t care about anything you do on the property this is the ideal place for you don’t see how they advertise as a luxury apartments they are far from that at the beginning I had a lot of issues with management because they did not let me see the apartment I moved into and they gave me a checklist to review once in the apartment witch I did and never heard back emailed called went into the office many times nobody would help me once I was able to actually speak to Gilbert the manager at the time he just gave me the run around and he never followed up with me ever when we started the leasing process we spoke to sandy about possibly bringing our own refrigerator she said yea it would not be a problem once in the unit she said that she never told us anything when Daniel the assistant manager the one in charge of move outs emailed me for our end of lease he told me if we wanted to opt in for a $150.00 dollar cleaning fee we declined and that we would clean the unit ourselves witch we did did not leave anything in unit wiped everything down now they charged $280.00 for a full clean from our deposit I called Daniel to go over this in detail he was so unprofessional and simply did not care all he pretty much told me it was my fault for not doing the original 150 and that next time I should ask more questions Simple as that they should disclose everything at time of signing the end of lease Paid my rent every time one the 1st never late and this is how we get treated and no one ever knows what’s going on expect to get confusing emails from different individuals in management they do not work in a team if you want somewhere ------ to live with prime location this is the place to be building smells like weed the whole time there’s broken glass beer bottles around the building Sketch individuals coming in and out of the building at all times they put up bulletins stating no Airbnb or vrbo but you can tell they are not on top of that individuals always coming in and out of building with suitcases and groups Do not recommend this building for families”

This place has become from bad to worse. I have never seen any building with so much turnover. Tenants move out of this property every month due to bad management. Gilbert fraudulently signed a renewal lease on my behalf. What he didn't realize is that his IP address shows on the signed agreement. I filed a police report for fraud because they have all my information and I don't trust them. Previous managements were bad but okay. This new management is worse. Trinidad (Assistant manager) and Gilbert (Manager) are very rude and unprofessional. They always take "kick-backs" from other tenants which they consider their "fav." They are always getting drunk while at work. Sandy is nice and professional. The security guards are amazing. The trash areas smell. The hallway always smells like weed. Management doesn't clean the common areas. Dog poop is everywhere. This place is filthy. Beware of the super nice review on here because they solicit tenants to leave them a good review. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY.”
“Ive been living here over a year now and the management is pretty horrible. Our lease was supposed to end on july 5 and i was ready to move out. And then they tell me that we were supposed to give a 30 days notice to move out, and that it was written in our 50 page contract. Only the date july 5 is highlighted in the contract, but the 30 days isnt. I dont remember the management telling me this information at all when moving in. Also, the contract is difficulty worded. My roommate and i are now struggling because we have to pay for another month, when we are not going to be there. My other apartment did not require this. It really seems like they are just trying to get money off of us. Also, when i moved in, they gave us keys that didnt even work. Why not check them beforehand before giving them to tenants? Also the ac barely worked although we got it fixed. My toilet also made loud noises and my bathtub water barely went down... i am really glad to be moving out of this apartment.”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“Trash hasn’t been picked up in a month. ------- the manager said she would take care of it but it’s been there now with dogs and cats moving around. Don’t move here! Tried talking to upper management and no help. Why can’t she just get it moved? It’s been a month!”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“terrible staff, they TRY to act friendly to try and hide the fact they are incapable of doing their job. I´ve been living there for about three months and two of them the main elevator was broken. Because of that I was forced to take stairs and move furniture through a much longer way. Every Time I try to pay rent its a headache. I tried paying a week before the first then was told I needed to wait until the 28th then they had a problem in their system then they emailed me on the 1st saying the system was working and that I was able to pay. I have a roomate and pay half. When I went online it said I could only pay the full amount. I´m also overseas and you would think someone who has been trying to pay before they travel could enjoy their trip, but no. The Visconti is even great at stressing you out when you are MILES and miles away. Seriously avoid living here at all costs.”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“I'm going on year 4 at the Visconti so obviously I really like this place. To make a long story short, you won't find a better value anywhere in LA. Rent is extremely reasonable given the extensive amenities. Even parking is free! The management is on top of things, esp. the property manager, Rebekah. If you have an issue, go see her. She will see to it that things get resolved to the best of her abilities. There are obviously some cons, as there are with all apartments, but nothing too extreme or I'd be out of here. It's mostly just inconsiderate neighbors, though the majority of people who live here are absolutely wonderful. They even hold elevator doors open for you! Lol. Bottom line: lots of people who live here have been living here for yeeeeears. The building is almost always at capacity. I think that says something!”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“I wanted to take the time to thank the maintenance Alex and his people. I moved in 3 weeks ago, I had only a few things that needed to get fixed. He was very prompt and attentive in fixing the items fast. I appreciate them for this. I also want to thank Mark and Maisha from the office who are always friendly and inviting. So far so good, no complaints and will definitely refer my friends.”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“I recently went to the Leasing Office to pick-up a package. The Office staff was pleasant, upbeat, and friendly. I like the new package system they have created. It's much more organized than before. I've lived her about two years, and I have never had any problems with the office staff. The are very attentive to my request, and they know me by name. Sandy, Maisha, and Alex are doing a great job.”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“Been here for 3 years, management do their best and are friendly especially Sandy. Some of the people that live here dont seem to care and leave trash . Other than that i give it a 5 stars. Oh and maintenance are great. They are fast at getting the requests done. I recommend this place.”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“I moved in a few days ago and I am very happy with my new place. My friend referred me to rent here and I'm very greatful. Maisha gave me and my family a tour and was very helpful. The apartment was clean. The only thing I noticed was a few residents leaving the trash by the chutes. Maisha said it is being taken care of. So far so good no complaints.”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“I have been living here 4 years, hands down 5 stars. At first I was hesitant to move in I wasn't familiar with the area. Moving from North California due to school it wasn't easy when you don't know anyone. The office helped me feel comfortable. Now that I will be done with school, I will be moving out this year only because I will be moving back home with family. But I do recommend this place. I have a large one bedroom and the inside is nice. The pool is nice too and the guards are available go help all day and night.”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“I have lived here for almost 9 months. If I could give 6 stars to Maisha I would. She was able to help my friend move from oversees who spoke very little English and made the application process easy. I appreciate her for this, my friend is like family to me. The grounds are clean and I'm happy with the location.”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“I have been living here for 2 years now and i have zero complaints. Customer service is awesome and maintenance very quick. Staff at the leasing office is always helpful (especially Sandy). Securities are always hands on. if you are looking for a quiet and safe place to live, this is the place!”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“I recently renewed my lease for another year. Living in downtown los angeles 4 years this is by far the best place to live. Sandy who works in the office is very polite and helpful. The maintenance guy James is on top of things at least I can say that any work needed in my apartment is completed within a good time. The amenities are always working. I will recommend this place to everyone.”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“I moved here at the end of December, and my experience has been very positive. Sandy, and Maisha are very pleasant when I go to the office, and pick up my packages. What I like the most is that they remember my name. I will recommend them to my friends.”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“I frequently visit Visconti to visit my friend. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The lobby is always clean and there's always plenty of parking.”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“Super nice leasing office thanks to Sandy & Melody!! They were even available to show us places early on a Sunday morning. Beautiful facility. Well kept, secure and new. Definitely worth checking out!!”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“I moved to the Visconti one year ago and I have really loved my time living here. The complex is gorgeous with great amenities - from the landscaping, the pool, conference rooms, printers, and more it has been a great environment to live in. The units themselves are nice - granite counters, crown molding, plenty of space, and washer and dryers included, all for a really competitive price for downtown LA. The location is pretty good - I've never felt uncomfortable or unsafe and it is a small community which I prefer over the other ones like the Orsini. Another great plus to this apartment is the management! Rebekah - the manager has gone above and beyond to make living here easy and stress free. She's extremely helpful and she actually cares about her tenants! Overall I would recommend this place to my friends - even my close family. It has been a wonderful experience!”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“Currently my roommate and I are living next to USC (dental students). Not big fans of the area. Many of my friends live at Visconti and I was debating whether I should move to the upscale apartment complex. This afternoon we toured the facility with Sandy from the Leasing office. She was fantastic. My roommate and I were blown away with the complex's amenities and the professionalism of our tour guide. It had positive community feel, clean, nice gym, gated parking, next to a school, and beautiful pool. The rumors seem to be true - Visconti is a great place to live downtown. Excited to move in.”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“I have lived at the Visconti since April 2012. My roommate and I live on the 5th floor in a dual master. The dual master was so appealing to us since we wanted our own space. We have a city view and I love it! We can see the Ritz and beautiful sunsets all the time. Our parking spot is right next to the elevator and getting up or down is always quick and easy. The building is very secure, with access fobs required at every door. Our apartment is bright and sunny and stays relatively cool, even in the summer months. The air conditioner helps, of course! The in-unit washer and dryer is a life saver and I've never had any issues with it. Mail is also secure and easy--package delivery is convenient too! We love the staff at Visconti. The manager, Rebekah, is always on top of things--even little things like making sure our closet door is fixed! She follows up to make sure everything is to satisfaction. We love her and can't say enough good things about how she keeps Visconti looking good and feeling safe. We also LOVE the maintenance team. They are the most courteous, professional, handy and helpful maintenance staff I have ever had the pleasure of working with! They fix everything quickly and with a smile--it's amazing! The security at the front desk is great too--one day, a guard even helped me pump up my tire! They also help out with guests and are so courteous about parking, helping with packages, etc. Super nice guys! The gym at Visconti is a huge plus! It's clean and has all the basics. I've never had to wait for a treadmill (there are 4) and there is never anyone in there at 6:30am. Love the pool--so nice and the view from the wonderful lounge chairs is amazing! The only minor issue is noise--we have some rowdy upstairs neighbors, but that's to be expected in apartment living. Fortunately, the security staff ALWAYS responds quickly and helps get the noise down in a timely manner. Other residents are nice, polite, generally clean and courteous. Overall, living at the Visconti is a dream. I don't know where else you can live in LA with a pool, gym, W/D, dishwasher, new construction, underground parking, security, elevators and great management for such a reasonable price. I feel really happy to be a resident and appreciate everything that the community does to make it such a nice place to live. Special thanks to Rebekah for her great management and to everyone on the team for all they do!”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“I have been a resident of the Visconti for past 6 months and overall have been very pleased with the experience of living here. The staff works hard to maintain a quality building with well kept grounds which are amazing for an apartment building. There is apartment manager and her is name is "Sandy Joh" and she is very responsive to whatever requests I have had requested sofar.”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“After 3-4 weeks of tireless searching, I found it. None other than...... Visconti Apartments, in downtown LA. I had been looking everywhere from Marina Del Rey, up to Santa Monica, and on over into Culver City/Century City area, but with limited time to look in between projects, it just wasn't looking good. Rebekah, the Property Manager at Visconti made the move a breeze. We got a unit with a view, minimal complications upon move in (all handled with ease), at a bargain of a price for the area. Anything and everything you could need is within walking distance (1.5mi or less, actually). I would recommend giving Visconti a look... GL”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“As an incoming dental student at USC, I needed an apartment close enough to school while not having to deal with all the hustle and bustle of campus life. I had heard of Visconti through upperclassmen and decided to check it out. This complex provides its residents with everything they could possibly need gated parking, washer and dryer in each unit, pool, study rooms, gym, and overall well-kept grounds. Security wise, they have 24/7 security and you need a key to access the elevators and stairways. My favorite part of Visconti has to be its staff Rebekah (property manager) and Eddie (security), to name a couple. Rebekah really provides excellent service and is always willing to help in any way possible. She definitely makes Visconti feel like home. Definitely will be staying here for years to come and recommend Visconti to anyone that wants to live at an affordable place in downtown LA.”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“I have been a resident of the Visconti since 2011 and overall have been very pleased with the experience of living here. The staff works hard to maintain a quality building with well kept grounds which are amazing for an apartment building. There have been two managers here during my residence at the building (Brandon and Rebekah) and both have been very responsive to whatever requests I have had over the last three years. The location to downtown LA, as well as to Echo Park and Silver Lake, is terrific. If you are looking for an apartment that is close to downtown, but just out of the main hustle and bustle of pure downtown, I would recommend this place. While it is true that there has been some staff turnover, with any apartment building over time that should be expected as folks move on with their lives. This has not been an issue for me. Living at the Visconti has been a real pleasure.”
— 1221 W 3RD ST · Downtown“What can I say about this wonderful apartment complex. While searching for a place to live, I wanted to look for an apartment that was relatively affordable, well-maintained, quiet, and had decent amenities. And as a student, I needed a place that was close in proximity to my school. I found Visconti to match all my needs and more! Practically new apartments, washer and dryer in units, extravagant pool, gated parking, security 24/7, quiet study spaces, free coffee - the list goes on. Last but not least, their staff is top notch, professional, and extremely nice- Nancy, Sam (security), and Michelle especially! She made the move-in extremely easy, headache free, and helped me so much a long the way (Can't thank you enough Michelle. Your smile brightens up my day!). I highly recommend people to at least come by and check out Visconti. Why did I choose Visconti over its sister complexes? Because I knew from the start I was going to live comfortably and in a stress-free environment. I was right.”
