“My car got broken into, my apartment for some reason always smells like cigarettes even though I dont smoke, the hot water is always being shut down, the manager has done nothing to address these issues because the office is always closed and they never answer the phone, moving out as soon as my lease is over”

The apartment was also fairly clean when I moved in. But, I had ongoing problems with cockroaches (yuck!), and the general fit-and-finish of the place was just appalling. The kitchen, especially, was really shabby. I think they had painted the countertops and cupboards with the same white paint. I had frequent problems with hot water. I was on the top floor and noise was not a huge factor. The hallways and public areas were dark and dingy, and I had to walk through a long hallway with several fire doors to get to my apartment... a very sad and depressing 1970s design. Oh, and the s-l-o-w-e-s-t elevator in the entire world. I moved at the end of a rainy season, and dark patches had started to appear on the ceiling, so I'm sure they were about to deal with some lovely mold problems. Overall, it could have been worse, but I'm so glad I do not have to live here ever again.”
“Horrible management, paper thin walls, very loud neighbors, old structure, dog pee on the stairs.... Maintenance ppl come in to fix one thing and break something else... Need I say more?? Don't be fooled by the move-in specials... they do it for a reason...”
