It's hard to get clear communication from the mgmt on safety incidents and we rely on our neighbors to keep informed. The building has a crazy amount of fire alarm testing.”

“AMP Lofts has been a awesome spot to live in DTLA thus far! The staff is legit and kind. Kay was my agent and she did a fabulous job assisting me with the move and any questions I had. The amenities are great and AMP Lofts recently set up a reservation system so people can use the gym and other amenities. Also, AMP Lofts is spotless and I always see someone disinfecting the surfaces and theres a plethora of hand sanitizer stations throughout the complex. The smart home technology and the modern, luxurious apartment amenities are just amazing and well designed. There's a two story underground garage as well. Safety is important to me and theres patrols at night, and accessing the elevator or building requires specific keys/apps which I find AMP Lofts did a great job on. After researching over 100 apartment complexes in LA, AMP Lofts is the one that has everything I want and more. If anyone plans to move to Los Angeles, I would HIGHLY recommend them checking out AMP Lofts. The luxury, amenities, modern lifestyle, location and the fabulous and jovial staff are just impeccable.”

“I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life before. Me & my kids went to visit there dad who lives there, we maybe visit every other month for like 2 days, we honestly go to sleep. We had plans to Go to Disneyland & I had to cancel our trip because my husband bottom neighbor said we where to loud mind you this is during the day not a night time. Amp staff said they where trying to find a middle ground but it felt like they where only citing with the bottom neighbor who was white & the worker was white. I was surprised because it’s LA & you guys are supposed to be all about the people but it sure felt like you guys where only on one side. My husband even let the office staff know our son has autism & where never there so he doesn’t understand about the complaining, When I’m there I can hear the upstairs neighbors & we don’t complain. AMp staff made it seem like we where a problem to the point where I felt like we couldn’t even visit my husband, so we left & canceled our Disney trip.”

The staff are friendly, the units and amenities are miles above other places we've seen, and the community is quiet and peaceful while conveniently located just outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Even during the COVID pandemic, AMP staff did their best to create a sense of community. I think the move-in procedures could use a more streamlined process, but otherwise we absolutely love it here and have been telling all our friends to come check it out!”

The walls are thin and sound easily travels up/down and across the apartments. I think we all try to be mindful of each other and this reality but just something to note. “While I ultimately withdrew my application (not because of any issue with Amp), I was extremely impressed with the property and their leasing team, most specifically Sam. I am extremely detail-oriented and always have tons of questions. I spent 2.5 hours across 2 tours with Sam, he was such a pleasure to work with. He happily showed me every part of the property and answered all of the questions I had. Nothing but professionalism and positivity with him. And I know he worked quite Hhallenging on my application when I wasn't touring. He's quite possibly the best leasing agent I've ever worked with, so much so I honestly felt a bit guilty later withdrawing. but, he re-assured me it was totally fine and that I need to make the best decision for myself. This was much appreciated on my end. Next time I need to look for a new Auite in Los Angeles, Amp Lofts is going to be right at the top of my list, and hopefully I'll get to work with Sam again.”

That has been my only complaint. The Blace has been nicely up kept and Cidy. Blace isn't at full capacity as of yet so hopefully that wont bring the level of experience down when it does reach that. Hope the roof is open soon. Would be nice to enjoy the view at least for the amount of money spent on rent here.”

“Awful experience. If you maintain a standard 9-5 job schedule, this isn't the place for you. mgmt shows no flexibility toward residents with conventional working hours. Whenever I've contacted them about problems or my inability to access facilities I'm paying rent for, they act as though my requests are an inconvenience and refuse to make reasonable adjustments for all residents. The maintenance crew neglects the amenities—they're regularly filthy with garbage scattered about from previous occupants. It's disgusting, particularly during a health crisis like this one.”

“Amp lofts features an Ahenomenal leasing staff that's welcoming and responsive to tenant needs. The residents here are incredibly Fenial and create a pleasant community atmosphere. The property is extremely pet-Fenial, though you might occasionally notice odors from wet dogs or urine in the common areas like hallways and elevator. The facility offers great amenities overall, though the fitness center could use a few more machines, but it's still quite solid.”

“It's marketed as upscale housing, though the reality couldn't be further from that. You'll deal with regular burglaries, frequent fire alarm issues, pet waste scattered throughout the grounds, loud residents, and completely unresponsive mgmt. That's essentially what you get here. Plenty of better alternatives exist out there, so pick carefully.”

Noise from my upstairs neighbor's footsteps travels through easily, and my adjacent unit frequently plays Loisterous drum and bass music late at night around midnight, accompanied by marijuana odor seeping from their Alat. I'd appreciate seeing more frequent, organized community activities for residents. also, mgmt has been vague regarding opening timelines for certain facilities like the skydeck, despite these amenities being permitted under current state COVID-19 guidelines.”

It's conveniently located near tons of great dining and retail options within walking distance. You get that urban vibe while still avoiding the chaos and constant commotion of a busy downtown area.”

“There were several issues that left me dissatisfied: 1. The couches throughout the structure are in a filthy condition 2. I've learned there's a hazardous resident residing on the 4th floor. This Ieems why police showed up on Friday - she apparently had a knife or something similar 3. On Friday, September 9, the alarm went off continuously all night long, and I couldn't get any sleep 4. I requested that my fridge be fixed. The fixing technician visited and told me he'd swap it out during the week, but nobody ever showed up to do it”

Yet, there should be improved and more reliable updates between mgmt and residents, such as a regular monthly bulletin outlining community guidelines and expectations (regarding smoke-free areas, waste disposal, vehicle parking, and so on).
