“These jerks are nothing but professional slumlords. The owner is a career slumlord who owns several other junk buildings around town. They have no regard for the habitability of the building or for the safety of their tenants.”

“Old building infested with roaches, filthy basement, frequent trash pile ups in basement and halls, has had numerous outbreaks of violence and gang related attacks in lobby, drunks spillover from bar Hanks and downstairs club which sees frequent gang activity with Mexican Mafia, Cripps, and 18th Street. Frequent noise of drunken bar goers loitering outside, parking lots filled with tailgate parties, drunks, and druggies. Management Gill family engages in illegal lock outs of monthly tenants, serves erroneous evictions, rate increases, harassment of tenants. Security non existent. Front desk staff often missing, with inability to reach guests on phone. Desk clerks blast gangster rap and use the F word in front of public. Owners are rude and confrontational with complaints, threaten, lie, negelect ethics and responsibilty.”
