“Warning!! The family managing this place are terrible - it's the biggest problem here by far!!! The land manager/family is very rude, unprofessional, will yell at you like you are one of thier brat kids if anything goes wrong in the apartment. If something breaks i fix it to avoid the misery of dealing with them. The manager will also make false complaints about you just for the pleasure of subjugating you. It's a very classic abuse of power situation. They are old fashioned stubborn Bosnians unassimilated to American culture and barely speak English. This becomes an issue communicating with them. To compound the problem, the actual building owner makes herself completely unavailable and has zero interest in repairing the building and shields herself from exposure by using this managing family as the only go between. If something breaks in the common areas like a washing machine; or fixture or door handle, you name it, it stays broken for months. Also, the elevators are dangerous and always jerk and bounce around violently and sometimes stop working all together trapping people inside for short periods of time. The inseption dates are always out of date!! We have lived here for 4 years and have stayed thus far because the apartment has a large patio and the neighborhood is nice for walking and fairly quiet. Rent is average or slightly higher than average 2200/month for 1 bedroom for example. We continue to stay here while searching for a good place in this very expensive and limited housing market.. Things could turn at century Glen if a sensible manager took over and talked sense with the owner but otherwise I would advise people to stay clear.”

“The best apartment building I have ever lived in. The apartments are large and updated. I have been living in the building for 3 years now and definitely plan to extend my lease again. Building managers are incredibly friendly and very helpful. They are very professional as well as personable. Any maintenance requests I ever had were taken care of right away. The building is very well maintained and clean. I would strongly recommend Century Glen Apartments. Great location too!”

“Don't even think about it. Property Manager cannot fix a toilet without calling the building owner for permission. Fix it guy that lives in the building is about as ignorant as it gets. They will try to charge you for all and anything that goes wrong and say it is your fault it broke. Management is rude, unfriendly and just plain stupid. They don't listen, they just want to charge money for anything they can. Things don't get fixed, they ignore phone calls, do not call you back and will lie about everything. Big time liars at big time rental prices. The son of the management group is stoned all the time when you ask him questions and knows nothing and the daughter who runs the office has two jobs and doesn't care about the building at all except for collecting rent checks. They are mean, nasty, inadequate, unavavailable and sorely lack any kind of professionalism. I recommend staying away from this very poorly managed building. Noise level with traffic and sirens on Beverly Glen will keep you up all night and wake you up at 5 a.m. But, management is the real reason to look elsewhere.”

“I have lived here for 2 years and I hate it here! When we first moved in it was nice and for the most part quiet but now there is always so much noise at all hours of the day. Almost everyday they are blowing the complex, or there mowing the dead grass, people parting at all hours of the night and morning. I will not be renewing my lease in fact I want to move now. We also have a garage we rent out that floods everytime its rained. I have had my car broken into, and also people have messed with our other cars. Had to call the cops because of parties that were going on in the parking lot and other apts, which woke up all of my children. If you want to live in a place with unfriendly staff, loud noise all day and night and pay to much for what your getting this is the place for you. Also military be advised if you need to break your lease because you have a PCS change they make it very difficult to do. It may look nice but it is a nightmare!”

“I have been living here over a year now and I can guarantee I will not be back next year. The maintenance people never come and the management is awful. They look for any opportunity to get money out of you. Make sure you read the lease very well, because there are a few things in there that they hide to get you with later.”

“It is safe and comfortable and well taken care of. The landlady who shows the apartments is not always friendly at first, but this does not affect the enjoyability of living in the building. I would recommend it to anyone. If the rent is not too much for you, then you will enjoy living here.”
