“I am living in the property last 2 years and we changed 9 different managers so far as i know. Who ever comes learn the job and leave in 3 weeks. Apartment building has a lot of issues, plumbing, roof leaks, mental health problem residents ext.. but main HUGE problem is management. I had a lot of noise around my apartment and after 2 years I decided to move different floors for my peace. Management supposed to move my information from my existing apartment to new one 3 weeks ago and i could receive my mails ( amazon hub box) . I had a mail 2 weeks ago and i am trying to get it almost every day. Unfortunately new manager doesn't know what she needs to do and that's totally understandable. But, executive manager "Christal" she is in the office and I explained to her what she needs to do because she doesn't have any idea they need to transfer my information to new apartment i can receive access code as an Email. She's is pushing me away and telling me I need to respect her time because she will have a phone call soon. She doesn't have any sing at he door ( lunch Tim'e & break time) and she told me " i called who's responsible from that hub boxes they did not help Thursday " ect. she will call again.... who knows when. All those things are not true because if she calls anybody who's responsible they will tell her transfer your resident that's what you need to do only. She doesn't know because guess what she is also new too. Problem is in here attitude and to push away people from the office with out the finding a solution. Loving Christal we are not your workers, we are your costumers, If you don't know how to manage the residence do not work as an executive manager. You can't sit in the manager office without any sing and make me wait under the rain + ignoring me when i am trying to help you. That's not professional. I hope some miracle happens and people will start working and they know how they need to manage properly property.”

If so, then move to Savoy West where, every week, management gives you a 24 hour notice that they need to enter your apartment between 8 & 5 the next day. One week it's to check the gas. The next? Check the fire alarms. The next? Check your pipes. The next? Check your sprinklers. It goes on and on. Is it THAT hard to coordinate a yearly inspection?? If you have a pet and work - It's a nightmare to keep locking them up. Work from home? Have fun having them bang around in your apartment while trying to have a work call. Or maybe you just want to take a shower without worrying that they'll come barging inside with barely a knock to check all the door knobs because well, "they gave you notice." How about exercise? You want to live somewhere that makes it easy? This is most definitely the place! Not because it's close to Runyon Canyon but because the elevator is broken more than it works. I just assume the elevator is out of service so if it's not, it feels like Christmas! Have extra money you don't need? Again, this is your place! They will most definitely rip you off when it comes to your deposit. They charged me $2500 to turn the apartment over after I had been there seven years, never missed a payment and left it with only with normal wear & tear. They charged me to paint! Yes, paint. Which is 100% against renters law - but they count on you not suing. They are lazy thieves who lack integrity. You've been warned.”
“I was upfront about wanting a short term lease. After going through everything. The guy pulled a fast one and said short term lease will be more. About 1,000.00 more. Why did he waiste my time ? I called him out on it and nothing.”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“The manger Debbie has been wonderful. she takes the time to explain things and keeps the building safe. its quiet and I feel safe here. I love living here - I have a sense of family because of the staff - and this Is priceless.”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“Let me start off by saying I have lived in apartments in every major region of the United States and many more overseas and this apartment is by far the best I've experienced. I moved to Los Angeles from out of state 2 years ago and rented the apartment without ever laying eyes on where I would be living as I had no choice due to the fact I was relocating last minute because of my occupation. When I rented the apartment I didn't know what to expect other than what I had been told over the phone and the photos I had seen on their website. When I arrived in LA I was overjoyed at how the apartment had exceeded my expectations and was relieved I had made a great choice and was even surprised at the fact it was even nicer in person than I expected. This place has exactly what most people look for in a great apartment complex. It is in a prime location, has clean and safe surroundings, is well kept and despite it not being a brand new building the apartments here are in excellent condition. Like I said before I have lived in a lot of apartments over the years from luxury ones to some not so great ones. But to me what makes or breaks whether I am happy where I live is the management staff. This is the main reason I love Savoy West so much. From day one the property manager Debbie has gone above and beyond to make sure I am happy here. She has always been readily available when I need something and always makes it happen right away. She is also very kind and compassionate and truly loves her job and tackles everything head on and will go out of her way to make sure every resident in the building is happy. Work orders here are always promptly taken care of in a very timely manner. And if you ever have an issue with your apartment that is vital there is always someone on call available 24 hours a day to fix something unexpected that may occur even on weekends. The maintenance staff Dan and Miguel are always working their hardest to make sure the building is in tip top shape and all work orders are filled. They are also very friendly, understanding of your time and courteous and are excellent about keeping everything in your apartment in working order and running smoothly. I have no intentions of moving out anytime soon and hope my job situation doesn't require me to move again as I love it here and am truly happy with where I live. So if you have any doubts about whether to call this your next home don't worry because once you move in you will be as happy as I am and never want to move again!”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“Great Community! From Management & Neighbors! I will continue to call Savoy West my home for many more years! Extremely quiet. You can actually get rest 24/7. I appreciate how my neighbors respect the noise level. I never hear them. There are so many reasons to call Savoy West home: 1. Location! 2. Well-Managed 3. Quiet 4. Price is lower than most 5. Neighbors”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“Yelp Write a Review Ramin B. Savoy West Apartments Rating Eek! Methinks not. All changes saved The Savoy West: I have nothing positive to say about this place based off my own personal experiences: This is the only apartment complex I have ever lived where my apartment was broken into, possessions stolen including my car due to managements negligence Cons: 1. My house was broken into with all of my possessions robbed by someone who was illegally squating on the premises waiting for the right time to break in and enter. My Car and All of my Possessions stolen due to managements negligence. This is because the property does not have enough security cameras and do not regularly inspect the premises to check for people that are illegally there whether its transients or airbnb. 2. A few times a year black sewage sludge/black goo will spill out of your kitchen sink leaving your kitchen smelling like ---/sewage/garbage. The smell is so poignant and strong that it will take you several hours to clean it. When you ask management what or why this keeps happening?? they respond "these buildings are old" - Im washing my dishes in a sink that spews out toxic sludge - how healthy can that be? 3. Fire Alarm blarring at night for the better part of 6-8 months around 2-4am AND IT DOES NOT STOP same vicous cycle every night over and over again. Your anxiety starts at 4am - this went on for severl months it was terrible. 4. When you finally leave the premises they will TAKE UP TO 40% OF YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT - mainly to clean their old dirty carpets from the 1980s which will cost YOU - $200 dollars and another $100 to clean the apartment / Usually I get one cleanup fee from an apartment complex for $200 max, here it will end up being much more. AND in the event you want to mount your TV (and they will tell you to let their handyman do it for you for a small fee) afterwards they will charge you a full $300 dollars for "PAINT" - thats about $600 that they will TAKE no questions asked. Its a simple job but yet you pay for 10 times more. 5. What I am trying to get at here is that this apartment complex is terrible and run down and they know it too, so they will find a way to nickle and dime you every which way they can up until you move out. I asked them for a dishwasher once and managements response was that I need it to "do a really good job rincing the dishes" aka wash the dishes first before you use the dishwasher which defeats the purpose of owning a dishwasher. The dishwasher at my new apartment complex which was also built around the same time the Savoy was is much newer and works like a charm. No need to wash the dishes beforehand lol .. I live across the street now, the kitchen appliances works much faster, the sink does not spill toxic sewage out and smell like ---, my car is safe and sound and I have peace of mind. Save yourself the trouble and money and find somewhere else Oh and if you lose your laundry card (a small little laminated card w a chip) they will charge you 40 dollars for it like you're at the RITZ lol ..”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“I moved into the building in January 2018 and ever since it has been incredible. It is quiet, secure and comfortable. The property manager, Debbie, is the absolute sweetest and goes above and beyond to make sure her residents are comfortable. She is kind, generous and always with a smile on her face. If you are looking for a top notch home, this is the place to be. Thank you Debbie!”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“VERY quiet and safe. Zero issues, problems, or complaints. 90% adults. Building, pool, and lobby kept clean. Plenty of secure underground parking in the gated garage. The street in front of the lobby entrance is wide and smooth lined with trees just a block North from the start of the quiet part of Hollywood Blvd. A mile West from the 101. A couple minutes to the sunset strip. Central to anything and everything.”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“I absolutely love living here! The first time that I came here, I met Debbie, the building manager. I was instantly impressed by her attention to details and care of the building. They have cameras everywhere, which I love. Being from NY, safety is really important to me. She has always been there for me! I have had two minor "emergencies" and she has literally stopped what she is doing to come up and help me. There is a lovely and helpful maintenance staff, Dan and Miguel. They are both super helpful and nice to talk to. They are always willing to help me with anything at all. The location is the best for me. I am a city girl so I like to walk. I can walk up to Runyon (across the street) and take a yoga class if I am feeling "nature-y" or I can walk down to Hollywood Blvd and be in the heart of Hollywood. There are nearby yoga studios. I love the Runyon Canyon Yoga (Black Market Yoga on FB or IG) they are donation based so classes are $5 or more. I love that I can walk around Hollywood Blvd and shop or eat at a fabulous restaurant. The studios are small but the bathrooms are big. If you are from NY, you are ok with this type of thing. Ha. I love the pool and jacuzzi area. I always feel like I am on a vacation. We have a gym and it is beautiful but I have been too lazy to use it. Parking is included and they have two elevators which is super convenient.”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“Savoy West is a great place to live! Really close to shopping and Hollywood Blvd., but in a very nice neighborhood so it feels like your are away from the downtown chaos. Runyon Canyon is right up the street which is awesome if you love to hike! Debbie, the onsite Manager is very nice and will help you with anything you need The apartment complex is very clean, safe and quiet. Would highly recommend!”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“I've lived in this building for 14 years for many reasons: great location, secure, quiet neighbors, great managers (Debbie, Bonnie, etc) , great supporting staff (Dan, Miquel, Pedro), gym, pool, whirlpool, laundry on every floor, secure parking, etc. Debbie & the guys are always super-helpful with any need or concern. I would highly recommend this location for a 1-bedroom or studio.”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“We have recently moved to Savoy West and I cannot say enough about the assistance and support that we received from (the manager) Debbie. She deserves high praises for her attention to detail, follow up and exceptional tenant service. Since we we moving from out of state, we needed all of the help we could get and she made it as easy as possible for us. We are looking forward to a long and enjoyable stay at Savoy West and are thrilled with the location and amenities.”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“Just moved out of Savoy West after 6 years and I have to say it was bittersweet. It's been a great place to live with outstanding management and onsite handymen. I only wish I could take them with me. Great place to live in a very sought after neighborhood.”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“Savoy West has been my favorite place to live out of anywhere else! I only moved out because of a work transfer. I had a top floor studio with an incredible view. Debbie has by far been the best manager I have ever had. She's tough but fair, always professional and on top of things. I wish i could've taken her with me. The maintenance staff were spot on and fixed and took care of issues right away. The amenities were great, the swimming pool and jacuzzi, sauna were a welcome home on a rough busy day. Stop your search NOW! Savoy West is the best place you will ever live. The best Manager, the best staff ever. The best community Ever!!!”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“Meh. Decent price and great location, but inside apartments are designed poorly with sparse, teeny windows, and inside facing courtyard units get ABSOLUTELY ZERO(!!!) sunlight and are literally hotel-room dark 24/7/365. Not a comfortable nor relaxing place to live, due to that. Nothing worse than waking up in SoCal and having to turn every light on inside your apartment and having to have them all on all day, trust me on this one. Management was decent, but many things broke and the shoddy quality and dated-ness of everything is easily and readily apparent. Over $1,000 was held from the security deposit when said apartment was left virtually move-in ready upon my move out. I've never in my life been charged nearly $700(!!!) to replace carpet after moving out of an apartment. Usually it's done regardless and the cost isn't passed on to a tenant. Lots of people always were aggressively complaining to mgmt about cost issues among other things when I lived there and now I guess I see why now that I'm gone. If you like sitting in the dark all day long, this place is perfect.”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“I've lived here for a year now & already signed for another 16mo. & would sign longer... I've read some of these reviews & felt it my responsibility to write my own review since not only are many of the 'bad' reviews WAY OFF (incorrect with many things that were stated) but even some of the comments that were made on some of these reviews are WAY OFF BASE!!!!! This is a GREAT location!!! You're not going to find another place in this area for the price you'll pay to live here (as in it's less $ to live here verus surrounding areas). ALL other properties are higher in rent & you don't get what you do here. (trust me, I've searched!!) They have a pool, jacuzzi, gym & sauna room. The sauna room near the pool is small but works & this building is located right next to Runyon Canyon so, personally, I don't use the gym that much. I never met the other manager so I would disregard whatever was said when she was here. Debbie is the manager now & is very professional, on top of everything & will help out in any way she can. The neighbors are friendly & quiet...this building is not a 'party' building & although there's a great age range of people here it's never too loud. I moved here from NY & NEVER came to look at this place in person (NOT something I normally will do) & Debbie was so amazing to work with I trusted her & moved here & I have no regrets! She explained this place as "comfy cozy but not glitzy glam" & that's the PERFECT description for this place. You can lay out by the pool or jacuzzi & it's so calm/peaceful & the landscaping is beautiful. You can walk out the front door & across the street & you're right at Runyon Canyon's entrance or down a block & you're at the grocery store at the corner of Fuller & Sunset Blvd. Hollywood blvd. is steps away as well. Also, if you use a place like Mail & More or needed a P.O. box for business purposes that's also one block away (not even) walking distance. There's also a laundry room on EVERY floor so there's no need to walk too far in order to get your laundry done. In a nutshell this place is professionally run, their amenities are nice, the price is right & the location is perfect (very close to everything from businesses to highways or walking distance to many things ~Sunset strip or Hollywood Blvd.~) Before committing to moving in anywhere else PLEASE take a serious look at this place first! :)”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“Savoy West is an amazing place the location is great your near all the attractions. The building is well maintained and Debbie is an awesome manager she is on it when ever you need it...”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“Savoy West is great! I have lived here a year and a half and have had an amazing experience. The location is amazing, and so is the pool, gym, hot tub, sauna, balcony, management, and size of the place. After living year 1 year I did exhaustive research into moving in the area for a better deal, and could not find one. This is the best deal for the area and you will not regret it.”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“I lived here and loved it. The building was quiet and the people are great. Debbie is an amazing building manager, who is super on it. I had an issue with my microwave and she got it replaced the next day. I didn't have any issues here and it's a quiet building, which is hard to fine in Hollywood or by Runyon.”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“I absolutely LOVE this place! Had to recently move due to work relocation, but I lived here for a year and half and have had no complaints. The location is excellent. Just one block under Runyon Canyon and minutes away from all the restaurants on Sunset and Hollywood blvd. The property manager Debbie was so nice and friendly and always made sure that any issues were quickly and easily resolved. They offer great amenities and are always willing to go the extra mile to help out in any way. When receiving packages, Debbie would always hold onto it in her office until you could pick it up, and would always offer to leave it right outside your door for when you get home, or even inside the apartment upon request. Maintenance was great here as well, almost always fixing any issue that same day. The neighbors in this apartment are super friendly. Never had one complaint nor had to issue one as well. I really can't say enough positive things other than I wish I didn't have to move out. I've lived in many apartments over the years in LA, and this was by far the best I've come across. If you have an opportunity to make this your home, don't pass it up!”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“I've lived at Savoy West for the past 4 years and highly recommend the building and the neighborhood. If anything ever needs to be fixed in my apartment, the staff is very helpful. Last year I looked around at other buildings in the area and found that most did not compare to Savoy West's amenities in the same price range.”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“Savoy West is the best building in the area. The building is extremely clean, safe and will fix up anything that goes wrong in ones apartment. I have been here for a couple of years and plan to stay!”
— 7270 FRANKLIN AVE · Hollywood Hills“I've been a resident at the Savoy West for over 5 years and I can honestly say that it's a very well-kept building and a very nice place to live in the Hollywood Hills. Besides being very close to all the amenities of Hollywood (Runyon Canyon, shopping, nightlife, restaurants, etc.), it's also close to the Sunset Strip and it's a stone's throw away from the Valley, since the 101 freeway is just a few blocks away. All of the apartments are modern, clean and secure and the maintenance is excellent, with maintenance staff on site 6 days a week. The building has a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym, laundry rooms on all 4 floors, some apartments have outstanding city to ocean or mountain views...and most importantly, there are two floors of monitored parking garages(with security cameras). Debbie, the on-site manager is very professional and always responds promptly to any issues that may arise concerning the residents' needs. I'd definitely recommend the Savoy West to anybody looking for a nice place to live in Hollywood Hills.”
