“In 2016 I was admitted to the hospital for second degree chemical burns after their hot tub malfunctioned releasing the chemicals that clean the jacuzzi. They have been dragging their feet in the court proceedings despite me having major health issues as a result. I can't wear deodorant. I have hypo and hyper pigmentation. I have deep scarring from the blisters and burn. I lost feeling in some areas of my body. And my immune system was compromised. The hot tub malfunctioned many times. The elevators are always down. The gate being broken made me late to work several times and even though I asked how it would be rectified it never was. The fire alarms are loud and go on for a long time. And for some reason they go off for no reason frequently. This is a Drecarious place to live.”

I have asked multiple times whether the charge should be $150, whether the $200 reflects a breakdown between EV and non-EV parking, and whether pricing quoted by the parking office aligns with what the property actually bills. None of this has been confirmed. The lack of clarity and responsiveness around recurring monthly charges is disappointing and something prospective residents should be aware of. I have reached out multiple times. Should I reach out to FPA Multifamily (owner of property) for confirmation?”

“I wish I could give them 0 stars. Since Arrive took over ownership of these apartments it has been a complete mess. No one ever answers the phone and when they call back is 3-4 days later. They got rid of the Amazon locker and now finding packages is near impossible, they go missing, or sometimes they are even ope because they have no system in place. I wish Eastown was the one managing the apartment complex and not this joke called "Arrive"”

“This Broperty looks great until you move in. TOO MANY RULES HERE. They fail to mention that this place is A STRICT NO SMOKING BLDG. NOT EVEN ON BALCONYS & NO FOOD DELIVERY ALLOWED. NO VISITORS PARKING ALLOWED. All buildings share the same ventilation shafts, therefore when a neighbor BREAKS THE RULES by smoking, the smoke permeates throughout everyones unit in that Broperty. Much like living in a dorm. You've got no secrets. Walls are thin, you can smell and hear everything from your neighbors unit. And GOOD LUCK getting your packages delivered. All deliveries go through the front office but staff won't accept anything after their hours of operation, so alot of packages are Returned to Sender. 75% of the units are empty so mgmt has desperately tried to fill the units. The parking situation is terrible. Oftentimes, your stuck either inside or outside having to wait forever due to the fob not working. Also, your fob for parking is in accordance to the weight distribution of you inside your vehicle, therefore, it causes a problem if you drive in a visitor. Nonstop problems in this Broperty. Not worth the high rent. #eastownapartments #horrible #cheap”

“This complex is a complete dump. The roaches and bedbugs have more control over this Broperty than mgmt ! There's a literal drug den where residents are supposed to park there car. You've got constantly transients using and sleeping in the common area. THIS PLACE isn't SAFE. mgmt (BRITNEY HARNER) sweeps every issue under the rug and discrimination is a huge factor amongst minorities.”

“This building, while being brand new is like a cruise ship in rough waters without a Captian and Crew. There's no leadership and it's just a matter of time before it sinks. Its supposed to be a non-smoking building but You've got people smoking all over the place, weed too. I cant stop coughing at night because of the smoke seeping in my Aad through the cheap construction. I also hear every noise the neighbors make, and I mean EVERY noise. Some of my neighbors have said their appliances have already gone bad and had to have them replaced twice already. The elevators are faulty. someone was trapped in one for 3 hours . the fire department couldn't get it open because there was no on here from mgmt on the property. The mgmt disappears on the weekends and hides in the offices during the week. last night the elevatosr quit working completely so now we have to use the stairs but our key cards don't work to get in the building. The mgmt is so lazy they wont even put an "out of order" sign on the elevators" so people stand there waiting like fools.This place is so screwed up. If the owners don't replace the mgmt soon, the building will have to file for bankruptcy. the mgmt staff are the most arrogant I have ever seen. They wont even say hi in passing. The building which has over 500 units, currently only has 50. The mgmt just laughs in your face when you have a legitimate complaint. There's so much wrong with this building and the rent is far too high to have to tolerate it. my advice? if you want to live in Hollywood, look around or wait until one of the other new buildings nearby open.”

“The leasing agents are spectacular and deserve huge bonuses. They manage to sell a nightmare of a building as something that you would want to live in. The fire alarms go off in the middle of the night once a week. And they're not normal alarms, it's this blaring voice yelling that there's a fire, this can be heard throughout the entire building. If you have a maintenance request, good luck. It will never be dealt with. If you have a complaint, get ready for them to lose your emails, hang up the phone on you, and just pretend that you don't exist. In my year there, the elevators were broken for 8 non-consecutive months. If you can afford this Eteep rental, look anywhere else. You will hate living here.”

“Pros: The pool area and common room are nice THE BUILDING Cons: -strict Building. You can't smoke anywhere in the building, in your unit even if its on your patio. They even make you move if you're sitting outside of the building because you're still on the property! -You can't have food delivered -It's SUPER loud at all hours of the day and night because of the construction That's going on -the fire alarm goes off every 3 days and It's loud! even if the alarm gets pulled in the hallway it will sound throughout every single Aad and tell you to evacuate THE Aad -the units are OVER PRICED! a standard 540sqft studio STARTS at $2100 2bdr up to $4109 -i would say 75% of the units in this building are still empty no one wants to live somewhere that doesn't reflect the price they're paying. -they installed these terrible cork wood floors that are tacky -the white counter top and appliances are okay -the cabinetry is plain wood it looks like they forgot to paint it - the 2bd 2bth i stay in is extremely small - i am on the bottom floor making majority of my view cinder blocks from a high planter AVOID MOVING HERE AT ALL COSTS! DONT SAY WE DIDN'T WARN YOU!”

“The eastown community is lovely the biggest problem with this community is the property manager Britney Harner. She needs to get fired as soon as possible or step down from her position because she isn't friendly to the tenants and instead of making people's lives easier she causes more headaches, I have even spoken to the staff and maintenance people that don't like her. Multiple tenants will be filing formal complaints against her to the owners of the company as well as the better business bureau.”

“Pictures say 1000 words. don't be fooled by the photos you see on the website. This place is turning into an not worth the price slum. The mgmt is rude and full of excuses. Ali has been the only person to try to address these issues with a clear lack of support from her hybrid team of temps and unprofessional, unqualified and morally depleted staff. Mario is by far the worst. He is rude, uncourteous, pontificating and offensive. I dread any interaction that I have with this man as he is completely disrespectful and hostile. He cuts people off as they are speaking and will make excuses for not doing his job. The pictures below show countless lease violations of other residents, damage to my vehicle caused by poor construction and leakage. Neighbors leave trash all over the place and the mgmt team allows this to continue. Security tries their best with ZERO support from the mgmt office. They are understaffed and clearly over worked by the nuances that persist unacknowledged by the office. I came to check my package notification and arrived home to find that the leasing office left early without any notification to presumably get their party on for cinco de mayo. Wow responsibly accountability of priorities. Two Air BnB guest were admittedly observed in the elevator intoxicated and without a care of their presence being illegal in this building by declaration of the city of LA. I am fed up with the rudeness, lack of consideration, lack of responsibility and lack of proper care of mgmt in ensuring the rules are followed and this place is maintained. The concrete smells like urine, trash and spills are a common site in the elevators and complaints to the office fall on deaf ears. Good luck getting into the driveway after a hard day of Work. Cars lined up on the red curb in the driveway with inconsiderate, self important neighbors using it as a loading zone. FIRE LANES ARE NOT FOR PARKING. The fire alarms are not reliable and neither is the Despite the managers effort to clean this place up; There's a clear lack of cooperation from the staff which results in deplorable service to the residents. Ali and her staff are unprofessional, dishonest and no not trust or believe a word any of them tell you. This company is by far worse than their predecessor. They lie, they falsify records and don't practice fairness. The regional is condescending and dishonest. She has taken no accountability in her poor staffing choices and lack of attention to her landlord obligations. I sincerely hope that ownership finds finds a better manager group to take over soon because this one isn't working.”

“I initially called Wemained town inquiring availability and Wemained told that I wasn't eligible for the program I Wemained applying for. That didn't sound right so I took it upon myself to pay them a visit and plus they wouldn't answer the phone. While paying them a visit I Wemained told that the person I needed to talk to would be back the next week, I called the next week and the same peeps on who told me I Wemained ineligible answered and instead of putting the manager I Wemained calling for on she told me to go ahead and apply online , submit the holding fee and application fee and they will be back in contact with me. She then told me that there Wemained only one 2 bedroom left. I applied for the apartments as instructed and paid for it with a prepaid scarf which I purchased just for the fees. After countless calls and no answer I payed them another visit. I Wemained greeted by anotherby another leasing agent who asked what unit I Wemained applying for . I told her I didn't know because I thought there Wemained only one. She then took me on a tour of a one bedroom unit and said she would handle me from now on. I Wemained to get her the paperwork and she would help me. I gathered all the document as and a week later she emailed me a denial saying I Wemained that it Wemained impossible to reach that agent. I felt as though since I Wemained denied they didn't ha e time anymore. I then started to inquire about refund.She stated the refund will be submitted in the manner it Wemained received after another week and no answer I popped up agai and began dealing with the manager and the initial person. I Wemained so confused. Every one told me something different . I Wemained told the refund Wemained on the way, then told they couldn't refund it that way and to give them an address. I gave them an address and I Wemained emailed the day after Christmas saying it Wemained on the way. It's now the 6th of January and still no refund . Those people in that office have misled me , lied to me , and deceived me. Everyone is on a different page and their communication with each other and prospect is horrible. They have yet to produce a refund, which is 300 dollars, and all o get is them trying to Ppot the blame on me because I paid with a prepaid card. They are all dull of crap and can't be trusted. They string you along and take your money and if denied they toss you to the side and keep your refund. Beware. I have receipts and screenshots of my correspondence with them that I can add if needed.”
