Quite possibly the last reviewer had a strong "What did you say, Don't you speak English? OMG you live in America and have an accent!" attitude towards the manager. I recently spoke with the same lady and she was very accomodating and went way out of her way to show me around the facilities. Every tenant that passed by said Hi to her and had some small talk with her as if she is very approachable and respected. She even went so far as to ask a tenant if he would mind if I saw the floor plan of his apartment that he was vacating soon. It is a fairly large facility, so there are apts with bad lighting...but the 3 that I saw had an abundance of light and space for the money. Very friendly tenants from what I saw and the manager might not fit the "June Cleaver" mold some of us assume permeates all reaches of society, but she is equally sweet and kind in her own right. Different cultures have different manneurisms and it takes patience and understanding to see what's underneath. Hate for you to miss out on a decent apt and manager because of a misunderstanding. I got past the accent and now I have seen a nice apt for a good price.”

Apartments are dark and unfortunatly the one that I live in is right accross from the loading dock of the Wachovia Tower... its is LOUD ALL THE TIME. There is always a repair crew or a garbage truck parked over there with their back up siren wailing at all hours of the day/night. Good thing I get up early every day and don't try to work from there or I'd go nuts. Same deal on the weekends though 7AM saturday and sunday morning there is always someone banging on something over there. Pricing is afordable and street parking usually isn't a problem. Within walking distance to all brentwood amenities. I'd recommend the place as better than average (for most the buildings built in the same era that are around that area), but make sure you don't rent a unit that faces Barry avenue because you'll never be able to sleep or relax.”
