“DO NOT MOVE HERE! The positive reviews could not possibly be true. I have been a good reliable tenant, paying my rent onetime and have experienced nothing less than a nightmare for a year and a half. I have attached multiple pictures, videos and email threads documenting my terrible expoerience and I have so many more. Since moving here in March of 2021(singing an 18 month lease) I have experienced the following: 1. Bathroom Back up TWICE(Two weeks after I moved in and again Three months after I moved in. With feces flooding my tub and floor. The second time they found something and tried to blame me for it despite it being the exact same thing that happened the first time which means they didn't actually fix the problem correctly the first time. 2. Both elevators broken for months! One of the two elevators was finally fixed but I live on the second floor and the elevator that goes to the second floor stayed broken, there was no urgency to fix the elevator after months until I threatened to repot them to the city. I know it may not seem like and issue if I only live on the second floor but try bringing home $200 worth of groceries without an elevator from the garage. My sister is disabled and was unable to visit my home for months. 3. My key mysteriously demagnetized and I was locked out of my unit for two hours waiting for someone to let me in despite have an onsite manager and an onsite maintenance team. 4. The parking gate is continuously broken, left open and unsecure. 5. AC broken for over two weeks, then criticized and disrespected by ----- ----- the apartment manager for asking for an update. 6. The Intercom goes in and out and don't ask ----- ----- if it's working or not because he will respond that he doesn't know. That's his answer for every single question even when asking for an update. 7. They do not clean the building common spaces on a regular basis, the hallways are cleaned maybe once a month or less and the parking garage is NEVER cleaned. I literally tracked the days they left a dead run over rat on the ramp to get in and out of the garage, SIX weeks, it took six weeks for them to finally clean it up. 8. The parking garage is oversold and/or not monitored, I have come home multiple times and not had a parking space despite paying extra for parking. 9. ----- ----- the building manager, ----- ----- and ----- ------ are all a nightmare to work with. ----- makes excuses for ----- ----- rude, disrespectful and unprofessional behavior. ----- who does not know how to effectively communicate so he deflects and throws out words like aggressive in an attempt to dismiss my concerns regarding this poorly maintained building. ----- called my subject line stupid and asked his team to change it, but says nothing about my concerns in the email. Please see photo below. ----- accused me of trying to describe a false narrative about her staff and the building despite my many email exchanges, photos and videos which are all posted in the photos below. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AVOID THIS BUILDING AT ALL COSTS! ITS A SHAM, A NIGHTMARE!!! FOR THE PRICE YOU COULD BE IN A MUCH NEWER BUILDING WITH GREAT AMENITIES WITH PARKING INCLUDED! IF YOU ENJOY YOUR PEACE OF MIND AND WANT TO RELAX AFTER A LONG DAY AT THE OFFICE DO NOT MOVE HERE!”

“Love my unit, building and neighborhood. 9th and broadway is one of the best neighborhoods in Downtown Los Angeles. I got rid of my car 2 years ago and this a walkers transportation paradise. My apartment has awesome oversized windows, hardwood floors and tons of closets space. I really love my home. The building is super cool and I love my neighbors.”

“Very disappointed with this complex. Loud, noises thru the paper thin walls at all hours. We would wake up to a homeless man smashing bottles in the street at 6 am every Monday. Only slow internet packages available because the building hasn't been updated. The back door was constantly broken and homeless people wander into the lobby. Very unsafe. . Bad security:had our bikes stolen from the garage twice. Literal poop-both human and pet in the lobby and outside the doors. Roaches, broken gym equipment, slow repairs, dusty (gave us breathing issues), and drastic rent increases. Finally, after a through check out of our spotless apartment, management decided to add random charges and keep 75% of our security deposit. We only received the deposit after following up multiple times. Do yourself a favor and live literally ANYWHERE else downtown.”

“What an absolutely terrible apartment complex. We have been living here 2 years and there are roaches, zero amenities, expensive parking, poor maintenance, and unprofessional management. Doors to the building and garage are left open and unlocked in areas where people are often doing drugs and security guarded parking that was promised is most often a lie, and management vandalizes vehicles with "reminders" in the lot. Oh and the owner of the building loudly has sex in the complex office. Do not recommend. High cost, zero value, bad management.”
