“I have live here at 1010 Wilshire for a year now and I have to say it is one of the best places I’ve lived in. However I recently moved to the expansion across the street and now have a different floor manager by the name of Nana. She has really made me reconsider living here. Me along with multiple other tenants agree that she frequently oversteps her boundaries by indirectly demanding access to enter units at random times. She makes people feel really uncomfortable and always has something to say. She treats younger tenants like kids and I often feel discriminated against by her for being younger. She has yelled at me in the past at one of the events for attempting to grab a free dessert from the table. Unfortunately as much as I love this place, I am now considering leaving this place entirely because of her.”
— 1010 WILSHIRE BLVD · LOS ANGELES“I can not begin to explain how disappointing it is to live here. With one of the most expensive rents in Los Angeles, you'd think that it wouldn't be so hard to just clean the building. first off, all you smell is weed smoke and dog poop and pee on the carpets. The elevators and common area hallways are filthy. There is sewage leaking from the sealing and filling up the panels until they get heavy enough to drop. I looked forward to living here for quite awhile, and it looks amazing -- especially with the deal they'll promise you -- but its not worth it. The hot tub water is nasty, the sauna and steam room are never cleaned, and no one even bothers to pickup after themselves in the gym. The rooftop looks good occasionally, but it's not what you expect -- go live at the atelier or any one of the other buildings in the same price range. they promise happy hour for 5 days a week, and it has happened SIX times in the 6 months i've lived here. They lie about cleanliness and amenities and they have no concern about living up to their promises. Kevin in the leasing office is probably one of the best agents; but don't take that as consolation considering the building can't live up to their leasing agent's promises. I am moving out because the building is so below par. Live anywhere else besides here. Fake luxury. They even admit to all their lies and even the leasing agents and staff are unhappy with what the owners are doing to save money so they can spend it building other buildings. Bring this up to them, everything I asked, and they'll probably have to admit to you all of the lack of maintenance, faulty sewage and plumbing system and that they have no happy hour that they'll promise you. P.S. there are a ton of drug dealers, degenerates and pill addicts in this building”

So far they have answered every question I have had. The apartments are great the rooftop seems nice however it has been raining so everything is wet! Look forward to the rest of my stay here.”
— 1010 WILSHIRE BLVD · LOS ANGELES“Contrary to some of the negative reviews, I have really enjoyed my stay at 1010. My husband and I have a business in northern CA but recently needed to come to LA for a project. We leased at 1010 due to the convenience of it being fully furnished and all-inclusive. My daughter and I spent the last 8 months at 1010 and sadly are going to be leaving to go back up to northern CA. We will always recommend 1010, because it has been a great place to live for the last several months. The lofts are beautiful; the tenants are friendly, and most importantly the staff in the building are fabulous. We have just loved our time at this place and highly recommend checking this building out!”
— 1010 WILSHIRE BLVD · LOS ANGELES“The only people who live here are people who want to appear more successful than they really are, hip hop wannabes, drug dealers, and middle aged divorced men.Take a look at the photo gallery on the apartment's website and you'll get the sense of the type of tenants and guests that congregate here. My apartment was on the 13th floor and you could smell the pot one of the other tenants was smoking/selling in the hallways. And there was a middle aged leprechaun taking photos of his "assistant" in the elevator and common areas in various stages of undress. Not a place to bring clients under any circumstances.”
— 1010 WILSHIRE BLVD · LOS ANGELES“I've been at 1010 for a few months now and I really recommend this building. I own a property management & investment company and I'm currently doing a live/work (something I've never done in the past.) I had my concerns at first but the balance of my work life and social life makes it possible here. My employees love the roof as well (especially the free happy hour.) So far it's great, I hope it continues.”
— 1010 WILSHIRE BLVD · LOS ANGELES“I have been living here with my roommates for 1.5 years. We absolutely love the building. We go to FIDM so we did not have or want to purchase furniture, etc. 1010 made it so easy for us to just move right in! Plus the rooftop is amazing! We love having friends over after classes and on the weekends! I recommend everyone to check out 1010!”
— 1010 WILSHIRE BLVD · LOS ANGELES“I love, love, love this place. All I can say is Free Happy Hour Monday-Friday and a lot of other great events for the tenants. Best place to live and be single in LA!”
— 1010 WILSHIRE BLVD · LOS ANGELES“I came here for business for 1 month and ended up loving it so much i made it my 2nd home. It was so easy to move in with everything being furnished. There were even dishes and silverware included. I looked at a bunch of other places 717 and Watermark which were very nice as well but you get so much more at 1010. All utilies cable internet and phone are included which makes it so nice...i dont have to worry about additional bills when i am out of town. One complaint is the valet...i have seen them driving my car a little too fast but after saying something they stopped. I would recommend checking this place out!”
— 1010 WILSHIRE BLVD · LOS ANGELES“Without a doubt the worst managed building I have ever lived in. Most tenants are drug dealers who don't work, sleep all day and stay up all night. The amount of noise produced by the tenants at 2:00 in the morning is maddening. If you complain to the building management, they do nothing. If you complain to your neighbors, they'll make vague threats of physical violence. Clearly the management doesn't screen their tenants at all, and don't mind getting paid in cash on short-term leases. The apartments look nice, but are furnished with the cheapest of appliances (don't be fooled by the faux upscale aluminum look). Both my wash/dryer and refrigerator broke within two weeks of moving in, and it took over a week and three complaints to get them replaced. The cable never worked correctly, and the internet service was down more than it was up. The building is also grossly overpriced - the smallest units begin at $3700/month. Don't trust the two glowing reviews on Yelp - they've clearly been written by the management company to try to combat the well-deserved negative reputation this building is developing. If you don't mind living with noisy thugs or overpaying for an apartment where nothing works and never gets fixed, this is the place for you. Otherwise, avoid this place at all costs.”
— 1010 WILSHIRE BLVD · LOS ANGELES“They advertise well, but not the best place to live downtown LA.. you are assigned a "sales manager" and mine was a nightmare after I signed the lease...never returned calls or emails until 3-4 months later... my car was damaged in valet because the drivers drive your cars like they are racing them up the hill to the parking garage...the sauna and steam room has been broken the whole year that i lived there...their events are not as extravagant as they present themselves... it's all about what is the cheapest way to throw an event... with all the Money that comes into that place from residents to films being made there...it is not the best place to live and I have lived all over the United States in very prestige places and this was a low-scale, unprofessional place to live...We even had to pay for the Business Center...fax, copy, etc....Ridiculous!! Don't be fooled by all the hype... Across the street there are apartments there and very nice and the people are extremely professional....”
— 1010 WILSHIRE BLVD · LOS ANGELES“HORRIBLE APARTMENT. when i first went their to take a tour, they were so friendly and nice. once i signed that lease, they never would say hi to me in the lobby, and ignored me. The apartment has valet service and they even hit my car. dealing with the car accident they didn't fully fix the damages. one of the head lights didn't work, so i had to complain constantly for that to be fixed, my car would constantly show the "brake" sign, and now it makes a noise when i drive the car. the Internet is not fast and sometimes would work, and for two days i did not have light and it took them forever to fix. lastly, they charged me for items they said was missing which i never took and refuse to pay me because its already been cleaned out by their housekeeping. not a great complex, management team are rude, and self fish. once you sign the lease, their attitude changes and only talk to you if they want something from you.”
— 1010 WILSHIRE BLVD · LOS ANGELES“12 months I have received the run around from 1010 in regard to cleaning the windows.”
— 1010 WILSHIRE BLVD · LOS ANGELES“Right now it's great. Roof is great, pool, hot tub, sauna, gym. Happy Hour with bar tender (free drinks) Wed-Friday. Everything is good quality. Staff is great, I like it more and more each day. Just seem to wonder if they can keep this service and amenities the way it is. All the changes so far have been for the better. It's still a new building, so who knows what their business plan will be a year from now. Triple pained windows, I can't hear a thing outside. Glass tiled bathrooms and real showers are great. Just waiting for the parking to get city approval and then everything will be perfect.”
