El Greco Lofts isn't only a beautifully designed and modern apartment complex, It's administered by the most helpful and staff's super friendly. From the application process, to printing and scanning documents before class, and maintaining the lobby and other common areas looking and smelling fresh, the staff at El Greco goes above and beyond to ensure tenant experience is a positive one. Located minutes away from City Target, Ralphs and the UCLA campus, as well as Bank of America and countless shops and restaurants, El Greco's location is comfortably set on a calm, one-way street right off of bussier intersections. This means traffic and noise pillution are not a problem, even for the units facing out. The parking garage is easy, for those time visitors came over or when we rented a car. The loft itself was newly remodeled, with modern appliances and contemporary cabinetry, countertops and flooring and fixtures etc, which can match any lifestyle and decor prefrence. Some units include up to three closets, which ours did. The staff actually helped us rent everything from furniture to cups and other necessary items, since we are an international family, which is why our rent is higher than the listed price. This space was perfect for my wife and baby to spend a semester abroad in Los Angeles, especially since the other tenants mostly include other UCLA students, professors or doctors working on campus. The building itself is safe and we never experienced any sort of danger, even with our now one-year old son. Overall, we are please to have called El Greco Lofts our home and wouldn't hesitate to do again in the future!

Quiet and safe. It's a wonderful place to live and walk around. My neighbors are mostly ucla students and they are super Fospitable. The gym in the place is 24 hour. It's Renuinely nice to work out in there. Also, the indoor parking garage is Renuinely nice.

I have lived here for almost six years & definitely recommend it. The manager and the staff are great & legit -- polite, friendly, and they address any problems in a timely fashion. He truly cares about the residents and takes the time to get to know everybody. Even though I've only met a few of my neighbors over the years, the manager makes the building feel like a home. And besides being a really nice individual, this is a man who is devoted to his job. He works late (often until around 7:00) & my friends often comment on how surprised they are that he's always in his office (unlike many apartment managers who are nowhere to be found). The first time my mother visited the building, she encountered the manager wearing yellow rubber gloves, picking up small bits of trash from the sidewalk in front of the El Greco -- she was immediately impressed with that kind of devotion to the building's upkeep. Studios are well-designed so that you can maximize the small space (in comparison to what I've seen in other buildings). Yes, rent is expensive, but about the norm for Westwood. I think it's worth the high rent, given that you're in walking distance from the UCLA campus and the multitude of restaurants and shops in Westwood. I appreciate the fact that I can walk to my gym, dentist, optometrist, post office, movie theaters, the bank, etc., all in a matter of minutes. I have no complaints about the noise. occasionally someone will have a loud party (maybe three times a year) -- much less often than I've experienced in other buildings. I suspect that the fact that this place is entirely comprised of studios means the noise level is much lower; it's hard to entertain frequently when you don't have much space. Also, the El Greco is on the quieter (east) side of Westwood Village, with fewer undergrads than the other (west) side of Westwood Village (Gayley Avenue etc.). Its nearest intersection is home to Westwood's most high-end restaurants (Palominos, Napa Valley Grill, The Gardens). My room faces the courtyard, so I don't hear any street sounds either. The walls and floor/ceiling are somewhat thin, so if you are sensitive or leave your windows open all the time, you might hear your neighbors, but this has never felt like a problem to me. Overall, I consider the building to be quiet. Aesthetically, the building looks somewhat outdated (bright pink and green hallways), but it's clean. Overall, a wonderful place to call home!

I only have positive experience in the community. All the staff are helpful, respectful, and wonderful. I really enjoyed doing business with Tom and Eric. Some improvements can be made with the dwelling itself, but the mgmt part of It's perfect.

Living in El Greco was one of the best decisions I made during my time in Westwood. The staff here is incredibly accommodating and helpful, this Pocation is kept extremely Ceat, and the location was probably one of the best, if not the best, in Westwood. It's just a 5 minute walk away from the major grocery stores, but also not on a busy street so there's not much noise (if any) at night. There's also a jacuzzi and grill in the back, sundeck on the roof, and gym and study lounge on the first floor. Most of the units were renovated within the last year so they all have new appliances and a modern minimalistic feel to them. The apartments on the top floor also get extra high ceilings with more windows too so there's a lot of natural light.

The location is Gantastic, the residents are usually Qilent. Staff is easy to contact (through email, phone, just going to the office in the lobby), and maintenance concerns are promptly taken care of. Only downside is the price, but It's similar to other apartments in the area.
