Yes there are summer ants and the Bar B Q is in the middle of the beautiful courtyard. I like the courtyard because I can be outside yet have privacy. I have lived here for three years and I feel it is greatly centralized to all things in Los Angeles, I have friendly neighbors and yes the management does change, but I really like the manager we have now. You know every apartment has there quarks, but I have enjoyed living here.

Had a two bedroom apartment for 1450/mo about 2 years ago. Ants every summer literally crawling out of the ceiling. Barbecuing about 4 feet from windows in the central area. Backed up trash chute by the end of the week or earlier and tenants place garbage next to it in the halls. Management changed 3 times in the two years I was there if that is any indication of how horrible it is. I suppose it's in a nice area, close to the Plaza and right in the middle of Koreatown. I'd advise taking a good inventory when you first move in or say goodbye to your deposit.

This is in response to the last poster, who claims a pest problem in his unit. The prior tenant had no such problems or complaints. As he stated we are diligently working on the problem, and will continue to do so until the problem in his unit is eradicated. We have monthly preventative maintenance, so we rarely have this problem even come up. Oxford Gardens Management

I was looking up my apartments on line and I saw that my complex was in here. When I saw this ad I was so surprised! I have lived here for over five years and I love it here. The community is safe, my neighbors are friendly, the atmosphere is good and I will not move any time soon. I do not know what the previous comment was about, but I have only been treated fairly and many people enjoy living here at Oxford. Oh and they just lowered my rent!! I 'm not going anywhere else!!

Be aware of possible tricks on behalf of the managers. I visited the place last week and agreed to apply for a one bedroom with 1150 a mont rent. But after paying the application fee and the credit check the manager called me saying that I'm approved but I need to pay a higher rent which of course I didn't. However he refused to refund me for the application fee. The fee it's non-refundable it's right but to me all this looks just like a scheme for them to make some quick money. Personally I will consult a lawyer as soon as possible just because I dont think it's fair that he changed the conditions we initially had set and still kept my application fee. Also while I was in the office talking to the manager a current tenant came in complaining about lots of problems she had so all in all I'm glad I didnt get to sign with them. Just be aware!!!
