Unfortunately, I'm leaving this place I call home soon. This was my first apartment experience and after some apartment hunting this 2nd round, I have to say that I really lucked out with Los Feliz Village Apartments. I'm not sure if some of the reviewers are confused with our next door neighbor, Rancho Los Feliz. The pictures posted and the comments about studio apartments don't look or sound accurate. The pictures posted are of Rancho and Los Feliz Village doesn't have a studio apartment. Just thought I would point that out so the dear readers are not misguided. Anywho, getting back on topic.. I unfortunately have to leave this place since my roommate is moving out and I had no choice but to find a studio apartment and like I mentioned, they don't have that option here. If so, I would've been all up on that s---! Well, of course with funds permitting. :) I love living here. I haven't used the amenities much but they are definitely nice to have. And have I mentioned the neighborhood?? I could walk to a costco, starbucks, and the neighborhood bakery, the village bakery! Love it! I haven't had to bother management much but from the times I have, they have been quick to respond. The only things that were minor annoyances would be the water pipes. The building is older and with that, a bit temperamental. The water does switch to cold and hot a bit here and there, and can be a bit leaky. During the summer, you have some of the furry, black and white creatures that omit certain odors but I prefer skunks over roaches any day! The skunks are not the buildings fault since it comes with the territory of being next to Griffith Park. And lastly, I think there are new tenants above me because I've noticed some new sounds I never heard before. All in all, this has been a great experience and I wish I could continue the luxury of living here but my wallet just won't let me. I'm moving out in a week, so I'll likely follow up on my comments to let the dear readers know how the move out experience is, as well. Hopefully, the building managers will agree that I have kept the place intact and well. Wish me luck!

This place is going down. Not with the prices. Since the last manager left, eveithing is a complete chaos. It takes an eternity to fix something. All my friends who used to live here moved out in the last weeks, so people stay away!!! Except Juan from the leasing office, all other employers are rude and unfriendly. Noisy and unfortunately lately dirty.

My wife and I lived in a studio apartment for 4 years until we retired. Management was always cordial, helpful and accommodating. The location is convenient to transportation locally and to downtown LA, plus nearby shopping and restaurants.

Move in here a year ago and the community itself is great. Amenities are adequate for a happy living. Our flush tank was overflowing last night because of the sudden water pressure after the repair of some pipes so I called the manager and then a quick response on the problem after couple of minutes. Glad to say that they have emergency maintenance at night. When it comes to the unit itself, I'll say that we were lucky because our neighbors(beside, above and beneath) are quiet. When it comes to safety, the community itself feels safety although you'll never know when someone may try to break-in through the community because I personally think that security at night has some room for improvement. Overall this place is very nice to live in. You wouldn't feel like living in a cave unlike in most apartment complex.

Simply the best offer in 15 miles arround. I've searched manny places before I found this place. From the first day it was a nice surprise, since I came in this area for Rancho los Feliz, another apartments complex in the proximity. The Manager Eric quickly convinced us that this is the best place for us and I am happy that he was right. Great amanities, clean, good neighbours, management and maintanance staff professional and helpfull.

I've been living here a few months and it has some benefits and plenty of negatives. The apartment units themselves are pretty nice looking and spacious and the grounds are generally well kept and maintained (minus the hideous shopping carts everywhere...). But the biggest problem - noise. Hows the sound proofing in these units? What sound proofing!? You can basically hear every word from your next door neighbor and if you are living under someone it aint much better (I'm talking hearing the upstairs neighbors cat run). Also - I have no idea who hired the employees here, there is usually two people in the office; a very old guy that will remind you of your grandpa and some young -------- chick. Weirdest combo...and every time you head into the office they generally look at you like you just walked into their own home (aka you don't belong...). The plumbing is also pretty bad (unstable water temps, leaky pipes, loud noises). I wouldnt complain if I didnt have to pay for every utility here... another big problem for non smokers; terrible insulation/weather proofing on all doors and windows. You have anyone smoke close to your apartment, it'll suck up all that crap. Zero soundproofing, shoddy piping, smokey neighbors and weird staff keeps this place from being great like it can definitely achieve! Maybe after the next buyout they'll get their ---- together.

Quiet and off the beaten path, this has been one of the best apartments I've ever lived at. The people are very friendly. You can always go the pool and start up a pleasant conversation with a number of people.
