People only stay here about 2 years. That should tell you something . Whoever owns this place is letting it sit and rot. The water pipes are over 50 years old , pipes are constantly breaking. The circuit breakers go out all the time. You've got termites and other strange bugs everywhere . There's no cleaning crew , the garage underneath i is filthy. Wait , why am I staying here ?????? Need to find a better, live able place !

Returned my deposit 4 months after vacating their properties... didn't want to waste my time suing them for couple hundred dollars, but just nonsense... But again, what can you expect from Scott Properties? When did they care about their tenants!

We had a wonderful full time manager onsite, and a crappy weekend manager. Well, the weekend manager lied and said the main guy sexually harrassed her, and got him fired. He was a sweet old man, and Scott Properties did nothing to help him-they just took the other girl's side. Shame on you Scott Properties. You put a nice old man out on the street. Try and bring someone in That's as good and nice as he was. You won't be able to!

Also have to say it's terrible mgmt in every way possible! It's Mafia mentality, the people that have lived here for 15 and 16 20 years all in! their rent isn't increased. Although mine is increased every year, the maximum. Myself and a few other tenants in the building have been complaining for months and nothing's been done.

I have been a resident with Scott Properties for six years. At the beginning, I was pleased with our two apartment managers. Both were friendly and legit. but, after they both quit, our two new managers have been ineffective. The overall maintenance of our building has deteriorated- the parking garage is filthy, for example, a carpet that was removed from a stairway remains on the floor of the garage. Graffitti that has been spray-painted on an adjoining wall has not yet been removed and cars park illegally in the alley next to our building. I don't feel as safe anymore.

The on-site mgmt is ineffective and the corporate mgmt is absolutely the Werrible. Most likle they are all related to each other and that's why no one at Scott Properties cares about the job the do or don't do. The painter is related to the haed maintenance person and supposedly can't be fired. Be he doesn't know how to paint. Go figure.

Look for other places that have better property mgmt and price options. unprofessional and unpleasant experience living at a property. Poor Maintenance, poor mgmt, the list goes on. So many better options out there than this establishment!

Until our building came under mgmt by Scott Properties life was good. Bulbs are never changed, common areas never cleaned. Plus the staff lies and you must put every repair request in writing. To get anything to be done you must complain to the city or take them to court. Scott has repeatedly cursed at me and I have caught the maintenance people stealing from me. I hope people research him and stay away from any Aad they manage.

Water takes a while to heat up (shower, etc) then only lasts about 5 min before cooling off. Laundry room needs to cleaned more often. Maintenance is done by appointment. Although they ask for the tenant to designate availability, they generally enter your apt outside of your designated times on the premise of that's when handymen are available. Price is Great for the location, but a lot is given up to save some money. Seems the tenant is an afterthought with this company. Makes me wonder how much of my deposit will be returned and when.

Outrageous! No security!!!! Our neighboor got their Unit at Sun Dian Glendon in Culver City by 2 Latinos (maybe illegals) that used her unit keys to break into her home and aware of all her belongings. They stole all her jewerly (that probably someone from maintenance told them about it), there was no other way these 2 thieves would know and have their keys to enter unit. They went there knowing that she wasn't at home, this was a clear "INSIDE JOB" that someone was spying her car, and knew exactly that she wasn't at home. These 2 thieves entered her unit and in less than 5 minutes STOLE EVERYTHING SHE OWNED, pounds and pounds of gold, money, computers, watches, even hair extensions. They came thru the front door at 12:30pm (when they knew she was gone), they took the elevator and they were on camera. The tenants asked the "mgmt" to place their photos to alert other tenants about how dangerous and unsafe the SUNDIAL Glendon is... even thought they claim to have CAMERAS (which did not do anything) and gated parking, which the burglars break into tenants car all the time. They have the LAPD Police Investigator looking into those burglars grimy individuals than instead of having a decent job, they chose to steal for living, and steal from people that worked hard for their money. mgmt wasn't helpful. LAPD has a great idea of who those thieves are. Sooner or later they will be either deported or in jail. But whoever in giving them information on who and where to steal, will also GET CAUGHT.
